Last week, Samsung‘s latest Smart Monitor M8 was made available for pre-reservation in India for a deposit amount of INR 3,000. Now, the company has finally revealed the pricing and availability of the monitor.

The Smart Monitor M8 is priced at INR 59,999. It will officially go on sale starting June 15, 2022. Customers who pre-reserve the monitor will receive an INR 5,000 coupon and freebies such as Galaxy Buds2 and a wireless keyboard.

Specs & Features

The Smart Monitor M8 has a 4K UHD 32-inch display with 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with HDR 10+ support, 99 percent sRGB color coverage, 400 nits of brightness, and 1.07 billion colors.

The monitor can double as a Smart TV as it runs on the Tizen OS and comes with an IR remote. It can also work as a SmartThings Hub as the monitor provides full compatibility with Samsung’s IoT ecosystem.

The monitor comes with a movable magnetic SlimFit Cam for crystal-clear video calls, and the built-in Video Call application supports the most popular calling apps, including Google Duo. Connectivity options on the monitor include Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 5 along with a micro HDMI port and two USB-C ports, one of which is capable of 65W reverse charging.

The smart monitor also has two 5W speakers with tweeters built into featuring a 2.2-channel setup giving users an experience that’s closer to that of surround sound. The monitor weighs in at 9.4KG and comes in Warm White, Sunset Pink, Daylight Blue, and Spring Green colors.

Earlier this year at CES 2022, Samsung launched the Samsung Smart Monitor M8. The monitor is already available to purchase in South Korea and can be pre-ordered in other regions. Now, the Smart Monitor M8 can also be pre-reserved in India.

Customers can pre-reserve the Smart Monitor M8 for INR 3,000 on Samsung.com and receive an INR 5,000 coupon, as well as freebies such as Galaxy Buds2 and a wireless keyboard.

Although the Indian price of the monitor has not been revealed yet, going by its global pricing of $729, we can expect it to cost around INR 56,000.

Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled the Smart Monitor M8 which boasts a slim design and features for home and office usage. The monitor was officially released for sale earlier this month in South Korea, and now, it is available for pre-order globally.

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is just 11.4mm thick, making it significantly thinner than the previous models. It features a 32-inch 4K Ultra HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate that supports 99% sRGB color, 400 nits of brightness, and 1.07 billion colors.

Unlike other monitors, this one is a hybrid that can double up as a Smart TV. It is powered by the same Tizen platform and ships with an IR remote. Running the Tizen OS, it also doubles as a SmartThings Hub, providing full compatibility with Samsung’s IoT ecosystem.

It has a magnetic and moveable SlimFit camera that can be attached to the monitor and supports video chat apps like Google Duo. There’s also a Workspace feature that acts as a hub for work-related things and supports apps like Microsoft 365.

There’s a USB Type-C port with support for video and power delivery, and it supports 65W fast charging. The South Korean giant has also said that the users will be able to the Smart Monitor M8 to stream games and connect wireless controllers to it.
