The South Korean giant is expected to unveil the Exynos 2100 flagship SoC in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/03/samsung-galaxy-s21-series-launch-and-pre-order-dates-revealed/">run-up to the Galaxy S21 series</a>. Alongside the supposed January 14 event, the company will likely unveil the next generation Truly Wireless Earbuds, Galaxy Buds Pro. Amidst a lot of leaks, now, Samsung itself has opened official support pages for the TWS earbuds.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a> has opened two official support pages for a product in the <a href="https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/SM-R190NZKAEUA/">UK</a>, and <a href="https://www.samsung.com/ch/support/model/SM-R190NZKAEUD/">Germany</a> website. Accordingly, the page shows a model number SM-R190. If you recall, a Bluetooth earbud with the same model number on Indonesia Telecom <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/28/galaxy-buds-pro-branding-confirmed-for-samsungs-next-tws/">revealed the &#8220;Galaxy Buds Pro&#8221; branding</a>. Hence, it&#8217;s safe to say that the above page(via <a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/samsung-galaxy-buds-pro-official-support-page-live/">MSP</a>) indeed belongs to the upcoming Bluetooth earbuds.</p>
<h4><strong>Galaxy Buds Pro &#8211; Leaked Design</strong></h4>
<p>Moving on, another 360°leak by Evan Blass <a href="https://www.voice.com/post/@evan/samsung-galaxy-buds-pro-360degree-look-1608168459-1380650881">confirms</a> that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-buds-pro">Galaxy Buds Pro</a> will come in three color variants- Earlier, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/06/leaked-renders-give-us-a-first-look-at-the-galaxy-buds-pro/">he revealed two images of Galaxy Buds Pro</a> in Violet and Phantom Silver colors. Today, he has released a 3D render video in Phantom Black. The video shows the squircle case with a &#8216;Samsung&#8217; logo and &#8216;Sound by AKG&#8217; caption.</p>
<p>At the front, there is a dot which could be an <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/LED">LED</a> indicator and at the back is the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/USB-C">USB-C</a> charging port. Opening it up reveals the earbuds inside which also have an indicator near them. Talking about the buds, they resemble still images with rounded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/27/new-galaxy-buds-model-galaxy-s21-series/">in-ear design and silicone ear tips</a>.</p>
<figure id="attachment_361005" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-361005" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-361005 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/galaxy-buds-pro-3D-render-video.gif?x10805" alt="" width="600" height="600" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-361005" class="wp-caption-text">Credit: Evan Blass</figcaption></figure>
<p>The design is a slight departure from the earlier launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-buds-plus/">Galaxy Buds+</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/05/samsung-galaxy-buds-live-with-anc-and-21-hours-battery-life-launches-for-169-e189/">Buds Live</a>. A microphone and a grille are visible outside whereas another grille with charging contacts is on the inside.</p>
<h4><strong>Galaxy Buds Pro Features(Expected)</strong></h4>
<p>Talking about features, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/30/galaxy-buds-pros-fcc-certification-reveals-squircle-case/">an FCC listing reveals</a> that each earbud on the Galaxy Buds Pro will have a 58mAh battery. This is slightly lesser than the Galaxy Buds Live Bluetooth earbuds. That said the large squircle case will have a 472mAh battery <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/16/samsung-galaxy-buds-beyond-certified-at-3c-revealing-the-battery-capacity/">courtesy of China&#8217;s 3C certification authority</a>.</p>
<p>The earbuds are also expected to come with improved Active Noise Cancellation(<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ANC">ANC</a>), Ambient mode, wireless charging, and more. However, the info regarding the Audio driver unit, supported sound codecs, and price is something we will have to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/27/new-galaxy-buds-model-galaxy-s21-series/">wait till the official launch</a>.</p>
<h6 class="related" style="text-align: center"><strong>UP NEXT: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/18/samsung-galaxy-book-flex-2-launch/">Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2 powered by 11th-gen Intel processor goes official</a></strong></h6>

<p>As reported by <a href="https://www.tizenhelp.com/galaxy-buds-pro-passed-fcc-certification/">Tizenhelp</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung">Samsung</a>&#8216;s FCC <a href="https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&amp;RequestTimeout=500&amp;calledFromFrame=N&amp;application_id=1TUB2dZeTeaAm7QaNfpnsQ%3D%3D&amp;fcc_id=A3LSMR190L">listing</a> follows the same SM-R190 model number. Along with this, the listing yet again confirms that the next wireless earbuds will indeed darn the &#8220;Buds Pro&#8221; moniker. Besides, the FCC listing also bottom images of the charging case.</p>
<p>Accordingly, the design reveals a squircle(square shape with rounded corners) shape similar to the Galaxy Buds Live. And it is different from the rectangular design of the Buds+. The cradle(case) has a model number EP-QR190 that also appeared on Korea&#8217;s NRRA certification. That said, the design of the earbuds is still a mystery but reports say it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/27/new-galaxy-buds-model-galaxy-s21-series/">will adopt Buds+ &#8220;in-ear&#8221; design</a> and not the bean-shape of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/05/samsung-galaxy-buds-live-with-anc-and-21-hours-battery-life-launches-for-169-e189/">Galaxy Buds Live</a>.</p>

<p>Coming back, as per the report(<a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/samsung-galaxy-buds-pro-fcc-sgs-battery-capacity-revealed/">MSP</a>), the Buds Pro has also received SGS certification. It shows a similar model number SM-R190 but has it listed with a 58mAh battery. This is probably the capacity of each earbuds as the early <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/16/samsung-galaxy-buds-beyond-certified-at-3c-revealing-the-battery-capacity/">3C certification of China hinted at a 472mAh</a> on the charging case. To compare, the Galaxy Buds Live&#8217;s charging case has a similar battery capacity but it&#8217;s earbuds have 60mAh each.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-357285" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Buds-Pro-SGS.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="796" height="309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Buds-Pro-SGS.jpg 796w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Buds-Pro-SGS-300x116.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Buds-Pro-SGS-768x298.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Buds-Pro-SGS-696x270.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 796px) 100vw, 796px" /></p>
<p>The Galaxy &#8216;Buds Pro&#8217; from all these leaks looks to have a similar charging case like the Buds Live but will reportedly have an in-ear design like the older Buds TWS(Buds, Buds+) models. Anyway, we don&#8217;t have a lot of info on the earbuds but reports say that it will have <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ANC">ANC</a>(Active Noise Cancellation), improved &#8216;Ambient Mode&#8217;. However, I&#8217;m pretty sure that we will be getting more details in the coming days.</p>
