Recently, the Mi 8 SE was tipped to launch with a Snapdragon 710 chipset as well as the Vivo NEX. Not much is known about the Qualcomm processor but it is a midrange chipset which is obviously more powerful than the SD 660 chipset.

The Snapdragon 710 chipset has now been spotted on the database of benchmark website GeekBench. The chipset scores a single core test score of 1875 and a multi core test score of 5886 points. The SDM710 chip was compared with the Exynos 8995 chipset used on the Galaxy Note 8. The result shows the midrange chipset coming with a powerful performance which is on par with the Exynos 8895 chipset. The Snapdragon 710 mobile platform is a 10nm chipset that offers two fold better AI performance than the Snapdragon 660 and borrows some features from Snapdragon 845 flagship chipset.

The Snapdragon 710 chipset includes two cores of Kryo 360 Cortex A75 that clocks at 2.2 GHz and six cores of Kryo 360 Cortex A55 that offers a processing speed of 1.7 GHz. The octa-core processor is coupled with Adreno 616 graphics that promises 35 percent better rendering of graphics.
