Apple Fitness+, a new service from the Cupertino-based technology giant that offers a home-based workout program through Apple Watch, has been available in the United States for about nine months.

Now, the company has confirmed that it is expanding the service by making it available in 15 more countries. These new countries include Austria, Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to this expansion, along with the US, the service was also available in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand.

The service features 11 different exercises with dozens of classes and many instructors to help everyone. The classes range from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. Every week, there are new workouts and videos, which means that the catalog keeps growing, allowing users more options to choose from.

Apple Fitness+ also includes Time to Walk, Guided Meditations, and more. With the launch of iOS and iPadOS 15.1, tvOS 15.1, and watchOS 8.1, the service can also be used with SharePlay, letting friends and family workout together over FaceTime.

Do note that to use this service, users need Apple Watch Series 3 or later. The service costs around $10 per month but users can also opt for the Apple One Premier subscription that already includes access to Apple Fitness+ along with a few other services from Apple which can also be shared with up to six family members.

South Korean tech giant Samsung has introduced a new contactless program for smartphone customers in India — a pick-up and drop service. It is available for users when they need to repair their devices.

The company is also offering a drop-only service for those customers who have given their phones for service at a Samsung authorized service center and only want their device to be delivered post repair.

Currently, the pick-up and drop service is limited to customers of Samsung Galaxy A-series, M-series, S-series, F-series, Galaxy Note lineup, and Galaxy Fold series of smartphones along with the Galaxy tablets.

Commenting on the launch of this new service, Sunil Cutinha, Vice President, Customer Service, Samsung India said: “The new pick-up and drop & drop only service will allow consumers to get their mobile devices serviced without stepping out of their homes, especially in the current situation. We are confident our wide service network and many contactless service options will help deepen our consumer connect while providing greater convenience. We are hopeful consumers will utilize the pick-up and drop service while they stay home and stay safe.”

However, the service is not free of cost. For the pick-up and drop, the company is charging Rs 199 and for the drop-only service, the users will have to shell out Rs 99.

The service will be available in these cities — Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Durgapur, Ranchi, Thane, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Surat, Vadodara, Bhopal, Indore, Raipur, Rajkot, Jabalpur, Coimbatore, Madurai, Kochi, Calicut, Tirupati, Hubli, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Vishakapatnam.

Today, Honor Mobile shared a new post on its official Weibo account, confirming that the recently launched Honor Band 6 will be available for pre-booking again. The company also answered some of the user’s queries on the microblogging platform.

In response to one of the questions related to the service, Honor said that the company will work with its partners to offer security updates and after-sales services to the products on-sale as well as those products that have already been sold.

This is in line with the message that was shared by one of the company’s executives soon after the sale of Honor was confirmed. Now, the confirmation coming from the company’s official account on Weibo breathes a sigh of relief for existing users of Honor’s products who were wondering about the after-sales service for their devices.

A few days ago, Huawei sold off its Honor sub-brand to Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd., which is a consortium of over 30 agents and dealers of the Honor brand and the Shenzhen Smart City Development Group Co.

The step was taken to ensure that the brand survives. Lately, Huawei has been facing a lot of issues as the United States keeps on imposing sanctions on the Chinese giant. It has restricted the company from procuring necessary components to keep its business running. However, there’s a ray of light as the United States has started issuing licenses to several companies to continue doing business with Huawei, including Intel, AMD, Sony, Samsung Display, Qualcomm, and others.
