Over the past few years, smartphones have gotten bigger. Gone are the days when phones with a 5.7-inch screen were referred to as phablets. These days, we have phones with displays as large as 6.9-inches. Heck! The Huawei Mate 20 X even takes it further with its 7.2-inch display.

Manufacturers say surveys have shown people want phones with large displays, but how true is that? We have seen several complaints from folks on how they can’t find a good phone with a display size of less than 5.5-inches.

Of all the flagships released in 2019, only the Pixel 4 and the Galaxy S10e have a display smaller than 6.0 inches in size. If you are looking for a phone with a small screen, you have to choose from phones such as the Galaxy A2 Core, Redmi Go, or Nokia 1 which are all entry-level phones.
