In terms of the design, the blurams Dome Pro is made of quality plastic. Overall, the home camera is round and small, which is easy for you to take it to install on the ceiling. Actually, I love the design, the Dome Pro has good texture and good touch feeling.

Look at the black ball which can be adjusted automatically and manually, it comes with a sensor, lens, microphone and TF card slot. The indicator light under the logo of ‘blurams’ will show the home camera’s status.

At the back side, there is a vent and a speaker. A reset button and an USB interface are set on the foundation.

The blurams Dome Pro home camera is easy to install. Before place the Dome Pro on the wall, make sure you have downloaded the application and added the camera in the app. After making all the preparations, you can follow the steps to install the camera. Choose the location where you exactly want to put the camera. Place the mounting tab on the wall and drill through it to make holes for making first. Aligning this IP camera with the mounting tab. Place the camera over the fastened mounting tab and rotate it until it’s locked and secured.

You can live view the videos on the APP after doing the installation. Also, you can choose the setting options such as voice command, two-way audio, snapshot and video recording.

What’s more, the setting can be changed through the APP, such as night vision, device name, device switch, device microphone and so on.

The image quality reaches 1080P, which can watch and record more details than before. Turns on the night vision automatically in low light, the image still shows clearly even in the dark.

The Dome Pro supports two-way audio. If you are on a business trip, you can turns on the two-way audio to chat to your families.

Conclusion:

After several days of using the blurams Dome Pro, I have no complains about this. The home camera exceeds my expectation because of the small size and neat design. The features of the camera are useful, and the home camera performs well.

Remember the product Xiaomi teased a couple of days ago with the image of a dragonfly? It was officially launched today and its a 1080p smart home camera called Little Square that costs just 99 Yuan ($15).

Design

The camera which weighs just 100g is shaped like a cube measuring 5cm on all sides. The camera sits on a base that can be propped up to increase its height or lowered to flush with the body. The base can also be used to attach the cameras to walls and ceilings.

Specifications

The camera has a 1/2.7” CMOS sensor that records in full HD with support for 8x digital zoom. It also features night vision enhancement technology allowing it to pick up objects up to 9 meters away. The camera sports an IR-Cut dual filters which keeps out disturbing infrared light out of the sensor during the day.

Little Square has a 110° wide-angle lens that can record time-lapse videos. There is also a built-in motion and sound detector. As a part of Xiaomi’s smart home product, it can pair with the smoke and CO detector in the home alerting the owner of the house via a dedicated sound.

There is a 5V 1A port that powers the camera, and if you happen to have a power bank, you can hook it up to the camera which should provide about 12 hours of power.

The camera supports up to 64GB of expandable storage via a SD card slot and has a full sized USB 2.0 port on the back.

Need Little Square to have a wider viewing angle? That is not an issue as you can stack two units on top of each other via the magnetic base to give you a 180° super-wide viewing angle.
