<h2>Xiaomi Home Screen 11 Specifications</h2>

<p>The Xiaomi Home Screen 11 comes with an 11-inch display at 1920×1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel reaches 400 nits of brightness, offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification to reduce eye strain. It also supports family photo albums, dynamic magazine-style screensavers, and classic artwork for ambient display.</p>

<p>The device uses a metal unibody frame with a rear-facing speaker layout, which helps reduce the overall body volume by over 35% compared to the previous model. It supports continuous tilt adjustment from 0 to 60 degrees. The new design includes a fabric speaker grille and curved corners for better integration with various home interiors.</p>

<p>Xiaomi has equipped the Home Screen 11 with an octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The device runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which improves system response times and shortens voice wake-up latency for Xiao Ai, Xiaomi’s AI voice assistant. The interface allows users to control smart devices, check appliance statuses, and perform multi-step commands with a single voice prompt.</p>

<p>The audio system includes four speaker units with independent sound chambers to separate high and mid-low frequencies. This setup improves stereo separation and vocal clarity for music, video playback, and voice calls. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="758" height="539" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1.png?x96852" alt="Xiaomi Home Screen 11" class="wp-image-720139" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1.png 758w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1-300x213.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1-696x495.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1-591x420.png 591w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Xiaomi-Home-Screen-11-1-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 758px) 100vw, 758px" /></figure></div>

<p>The device supports high-definition video calls through an 8MP front camera. It also includes a physical camera cover and an EAL5+ certified security chip for privacy protection. Xiaomi has included far-field microphones for hands-free voice activation across rooms.</p>

<p>As a central smart home hub, the Home Screen 11 supports Bluetooth Mesh, Xiaomi Mesh 2.0, and infrared remote control. It is compatible with a wide range of smart devices from Xiaomi and third-party brands through the Mi Home app. The device uses a wired power connection and does not include a battery, ensuring stable operation throughout the day.</p>

<p>In related news, Xiaomi has recently launched its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/09/xiaomi-mijia-diffuse-reflection-ceiling-light-launched-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">most expensive ceiling light yet</a>, featuring 10,000-lumen brightness, eye-protection features, and HyperOS support. The new device will apparently feature a 4K resolution on its display along with support for touch inputs.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-375978 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309113803_7234.jpg?x96852" alt="Huawei" width="600" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309113803_7234.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309113803_7234-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>In a recent Weibo post, a Chinese microblogging website, from @数码闲聊站 (a known tipster), shared a screenshot of the smart screen&#8217;s specifications. Looking at this image, it can be observed that the smart screen from the Chinese tech giant will feature a resolution of 3840 x 2160px. Furthermore, the display will also support multi touch up to 20 points on the screen, which also features anti reflective, anti glare, and blue light filter along with &#8220;self developed&#8221; color gamut enhancement technology as well.</p>
<p>Keep in mind, this is a product designed for homes, as a part of the smart home ecosystem. So it would seem odd offering a TV a 20 point touch support. In other words, the smart screen can also be used in enterprises or the education market, where the touch input would be useful for PPT presentations, speeches, or offline education as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-375979 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309_113718_528.jpeg?x96852" alt="Huawei" width="410" height="558" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309_113718_528.jpeg 553w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309_113718_528-221x300.jpeg 221w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/20210309_113718_528-309x420.jpeg 309w" sizes="(max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px" /></p>
<p>Earlier this month, it was reported that the company is working on a new smart screen that will launch on 25th March 2021. So, the rumored smart screen could be the same product, which will launch later this month. Unfortunately, the consumer electronics maker has yet to make any official announcement regarding this product. So stay tuned as we will be providing updates when additional information is available regarding the upcoming product.</p>

The teaser poster shared by the company showcases a smart screen and a car, hinting at the product being an in-car smart display.</p>
<p>Earlier, it was reported that the Chinese giant could soon launch a new smart screen for cars, which will be powered by the company&#8217;s own <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hongmeng-os">HongMeng OS</a> 2.0. It is also said to be a tablet-sized product that can be connected to Huawei&#8217;s smartphones for several additional features, including listening to music, watching videos, making phone calls, among others.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-350342 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen.jpg?x96852" alt="Huawei HiCar Screen" width="1080" height="1920" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-768x1365.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-696x1237.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-1068x1899.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Huawei-HiCar-Screen-236x420.jpg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>Huawei has been expanding its product offerings, especially in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smart-screen">smart screen</a> category for the past few months. The company&#8217;s executive has revealed that the company has plans to create screens for four major areas &#8212; Home, Office, Car, and Sports.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">EDITOR&#8217;S PICK:</span> </strong><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/27/redmi-k30s-for-2299-yuan-343-brings-144hz-display-sd865-64mp-triple-cameras-and-5000mah-battery/"><strong>Redmi K30S for 2,299 Yuan (~$343) brings 144Hz display, SD865, 64MP triple cameras, and 5,000mAh battery</strong></a></p>
<p>It seems that this upcoming in-car smart screen isn&#8217;t the only car-related product coming from the Chinese giant. Last month, the company had registered Huawei Electric Technology with a capital of 250 million yuan, which focuses on engineering research, development, testing, and selling of smart automotive products.</p>
<p>During this year&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-developer-conference/">Huawei Developer Conference</a> 2020 (HDC), the company held HMS for Car Smart Mobility sub-forum and introduced its new smart car cloud service solution. It also revealed that the company is also working with Volvo and Hongqi.</p>
<p>As for this new upcoming product, it is likely the HiCar Center Screen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/29/bluetooth-sig-certifies-huawei-hicar-center-screen-an-hongmeng-os-powered-head-unit-for-cars/">which received a Bluetooth certificate</a> last month. <p>Five Huawei smart screens (HEGE, OSCA-550, OSCA-550A, OSCA-550X, and OSCA-550AX) were recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. Usually, products that come up on Bluetooth SIG don&#8217;t take long to launch in the market. Considering this, we can speculate that Huawei is planning to launch the Honor Vision or at least new Honor Vision like smart screen devices internationally pretty soon.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/28/huawei-p30-new-colors-ifa-2019/">Huawei P30 could get new color options at IFA 2019 this month</a></strong></p>
<p>Bluetooth SIG confirms that these smart screen devices are running <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/emui">EMUI</a> HomeVision 9.0.0.13. We are unsure whether this is a UI on top of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/harmonyos">HarmonyOS</a> or Android. But given how Honor&#8217;s first smart screen was called the Honor Vision (see the similarity with HomeVision OS?), it&#8217;s possible that these are the international variants of the product.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/63e1cf9ebf2badc987900253bf88c8ed.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-264393" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/63e1cf9ebf2badc987900253bf88c8ed.jpg?x96852" alt="Honor Smart Screen" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/63e1cf9ebf2badc987900253bf88c8ed.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/63e1cf9ebf2badc987900253bf88c8ed-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>It&#8217;s likely that we&#8217;ll get the see these newly certified Honor smart screen models at <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/IFA-2019">IFA  2019</a> that kicks off on September 6 at Berlin. <p>The Honor Smart Screen and Smart Screen PRO both come with 55-inch 4K HDR displays. These feature an NTSC 85% wide color gamut, 360nit brightness and wide viewing angles. There are 8 interchangeable display configs, including standard, soft, cinema, sports, children, games, pictures and bright, which should make things simpler for the average consumer. On top of that, the display also has German TUV Rheinland low blue eye protection.</p>

<p>When it comes to design and build, the Honor Smart Screen is pretty excellent all around. The displays are contained within a three-sided, borderless frame, with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 94%. The chassis is also nice and thin at 6.9mm, with a diamond textured &#8220;beauty back&#8221; and colourful breathing lights for aesthetic. Honor also touts their seamless 3D arc full metal bent middle frame, which should allegedly improve stability and durability.</p>
<p><div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><b>Editor&#8217;s Pick: </b><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/09/10-things-you-should-know-about-huaweis-harmonyos/"><b>10 Things You Should Know About Huawei’s HarmonyOS</b></a></div></div></p>
<p>Software is one of the big selling points of the Honor Smart Screen and Smart Screen PRO as they&#8217;re first commercial devices officially running <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/huawei/">Huawei</a>&#8216;s own <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/09/10-things-you-should-know-about-huaweis-harmonyos/">HarmonyOS</a>. It&#8217;s one of the most interesting things about the Smart Screens. Honor claims HarmonyOS will users to integrate their devices better, and the company plans to do this through a feature called Magic Link and their own AI assistant, YOYO.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-269408" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_111227_533.jpg?x96852" alt="" width="728" height="485" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_111227_533.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_111227_533-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_111227_533-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_111227_533-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></p>
<p>Now, Magic Link is, to put it simply, an advanced version of syncing and casting. By connecting your smartphone the your Smart Screen with NFC, you can sync downloaded apps, cast content and use your phone as a remote. What takes Magic Link further is its ability to integrate itself as a smart home system. The Smart Screen can be used to control and utilize almost anything in one&#8217;s house, from security cameras to computers.</p>
<p>In terms of specs, both Honor Smart Screens come running the brand new Honghu 818 SoCs. The Honghu 818 features a quad core CPU, with 2 A53 cores and 2 A73 cores, paired with a 4-core Mali-G51 GPU. It supports 8K@30fps and 4K@120fps super video decoding. In graphics decoding, the chip supports 64MP image decoding ahead of time, which is beyond the highest resolution that can be captured by the current smartphones.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-269413" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/s_d6dd270f574a4c5e83385d84baaf1c4d.jpg?x96852" alt="" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/s_d6dd270f574a4c5e83385d84baaf1c4d.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/s_d6dd270f574a4c5e83385d84baaf1c4d-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>On top of all this, Honor also claims that the Honghu 818 also brings dynamic image compensation (MEMC), high dynamic range imaging (HDR), super-segmentation (SR), noise reduction (NR), dynamic contrast enhancement (DCI), and automatic color management (ACM), as well as 7 image quality technologies such as zoning control (LD), picture clarity improvement, contrast, and color performance.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-269409" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_415.jpeg?x96852" alt="" width="728" height="409" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_415.jpeg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_415-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_415-696x391.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></p>
<p><span class="notranslate">That&#8217;s not even the end of it. In addition to everything already mentioned, Huawei&#8217;s Honghu 818 allows Honor to integrate what they&#8217;re calling &#8220;Histen&#8221; into the device. Histen is essentially a sound optimizing algorithm that&#8217;s meant to simulate a cinema sound quality experience via the usage of field expansion, transient distortion correction, dialogue enhancement, loudness adaptation, and intelligent bass.<br />
</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-269406" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_547.jpeg?x96852" alt="" width="728" height="409" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_547.jpeg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_547-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_547-696x391.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></p>
<p>That&#8217;s about it when it comes to the Honor Smart Screen, but the Smart Screen PRO has a few more tricks up its sleeve. While the Honor Smart Screen has 4*10W speakers, the Smart Screen PRO has 6*10W speakers. The PRO&#8217;s main advantages however are its bigger 32GB of internal storage, and the built-in AI lifting camera.</p>
<p>The &#8220;AI lifting camera&#8221;, as Honor puts it, is powered by the company&#8217;s own HiSilicon Hi3516DV300 NPU chip. As you&#8217;d expect, the chip allows the device to learn and recognize faces and improve image taking capabilities. The camera also uses Honor&#8217;s patented pop-up mechanic, as it slides back in when not in use to give users a sense of privacy.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-269404" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_683.jpeg?x96852" alt="" width="728" height="409" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_683.jpeg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_683-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/20190726_110631_683-696x391.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></p>
<p>So, what about pricing? The regular Honor Smart Screen comes in at a price of 3799 yuan, which is roughly $538. The Honor Smart Screen PRO on the other hand will set you back at 4799 yuan, or about $680. Both come with support for Huawei video, Tencent Aurora TV, Youku Cool, Mango TV , and has exclusive music channels that feature lossless audio. We&#8217;re very excited to see the Smart Screen launch, and we hope to hear more in the future.</p>

<p>While talking at the event, he said that <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/honor">Honor</a> does not want to release a traditional TV. Instead, it wants to accelerate the evolution of the TV industry with the help of innovation.  He revealed that Honor&#8217;s new smart screen will be powered by <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/honghu-818">Honghu 818</a> chipset, developed by Huawei&#8217;s Hisilicon in partnership with Baidu. This is different from the Kirin lineup that powers <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> and Honor smartphones and looks to be optimized specifically for <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/smart-screen">smart screen</a> products. The Honghu 818&#8217;s computing power and decoding capability will ensure that Honor&#8217;s new smart screen offers excellent picture and sound quality.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-2019-07-26-at-1.35.39-PM.png?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-266513" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-2019-07-26-at-1.35.39-PM.png?x96852" alt="Honghu 818 chip" width="690" height="379" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-2019-07-26-at-1.35.39-PM.png 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-2019-07-26-at-1.35.39-PM-300x165.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Baidu had announced the Honghu chip earlier this month targeted at <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/ai">AI</a> devices including smart home products. But this is the first time we are hearing about the new Honghu 818 chip from the lineup. The new chipset supports <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/hdr">HDR</a>, super-resolution (SR), noise-reduction (NR), dynamic contrast improvement (DCI), automatic color management (ACM) and motion estimation motion compensation (MEMC) technologies to offer a high-end video experience.</p>
<p>It also integrates Huawei&#8217;s <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-histen">Histen</a> sound quality optimization technology that&#8217;s found on its smartphones as well. The Honghu 818 also supports 8K@30fps and 4K@120fps video decoding and up to 64MP image decoding.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/25/xiaomi-pocket-photo-printer-and-mi-true-wireless-earphones-2-get-bluetooth-certification/">Xiaomi Is Close To Releasing A Pocket Photo Printer</a></strong></p>
<p>The Honor smart screen features a pop-up camera as well! The camera is likely going be used to capture pictures and make video calls. However, what makes it even more interesting is that it supports facial recognition, which could be one of the way to secure the device.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_251362" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-251362" style="width: 695px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Huawei-Y9-Prime-2019-hands-on-image-b.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-251362" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Huawei-Y9-Prime-2019-hands-on-image-b.jpg?x96852" alt="Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 vs OPPO F11 Pro vs Vivo V15 Pro" width="695" height="463" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Huawei-Y9-Prime-2019-hands-on-image-b.jpg 695w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Huawei-Y9-Prime-2019-hands-on-image-b-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Huawei-Y9-Prime-2019-hands-on-image-b-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-251362" class="wp-caption-text">So the pop-up camera fever has caught up to smart TVs now</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Finally, Zhao revealed that the new Honor smart screen is already up for reservations on platforms such as JD.com. In fact, a quick look at JongDong&#8217;s reservation page reveals that the Honor smart screen will have two versions, a standard variant and a Pro variant. Both the smart screens are of 55-inches.</p>

<p>Overall, from the new details revealed by Zhao, we can say that the Honor smart screen will be a pop-up camera-equipped 55-inch smart display that will be more than a regular TV. Apart from the powerful entertainment-oriented features, Zhao says that there are several other features worth looking forward to.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s likely that Huawei&#8217;s <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/hongmeng-os">HongMeng</a> OS powers <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/17/huawei-smart-tv-hongmeng-os/">this new device</a>, but we haven&#8217;t got a confirmation yet. Given that the official launch is just a few days away, we expect a lot more details in the coming days!</p>

These are large screen devices, similar to a TV, but much smarter and connected, catering to the needs of the modern-day user. However, after teasing the new product, Honor didn&#8217;t reveal much about the new device category. That changed yesterday night as Honor confirms that the new Smart Screen product will meet us at HDC 2019 to be held from August 9-11.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-266205" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser.jpg?x96852" alt="Huawei HDC Teaser" width="441" height="744" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser-178x300.jpg 178w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser-607x1024.jpg 607w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HDC-Teaser-249x420.jpg 249w" sizes="(max-width: 441px) 100vw, 441px" /></a></p>
<p>In an official Weibo post, Huawei announced a teaser for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smart-screen">Smart Screen</a> to be showcased at this year&#8217;s developer&#8217;s conference in China. It reads, <em>&#8220;When mobile phones are no longer mobile phones, computers are no longer computers, what would a smart product look like if it was raised to the Nth power?&#8221;.</em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/06/ren-zhengfa-claims-hongmeng-os-is-faster-than-android-and-macos/">Founder claims HongMeng OS is faster than Android and MacOS</a></strong></p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor">Honor</a> then forwarded the same Weibo post asking its followers whether they were looking forward to it. The teaser image shows us an outline of the human figure with all kinds of smart products inside. Clearly, the event will be a very good platform to unveil the new device, along with its software, possibly the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hongmeng-os">HongMeng</a> OS.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_266206" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-266206" style="width: 690px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-266206" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser.jpg?x96852" alt="Huawei HOngMeng OS teaser" width="690" height="1164" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser-178x300.jpg 178w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser-607x1024.jpg 607w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Huawei-HOngMeng-OS-teaser-249x420.jpg 249w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-266206" class="wp-caption-text">Huawei dropped a teaser a couple of days back that shows one platform that powers everything smart</figcaption></figure></p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> had released a teaser earlier as well, which showed one platform representing all kinds of smart products. Given that HongMeng was developed to be a one <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/12/huawei-confirms-hongmeng-os-moniker-increased-its-revenue-in-h1-2019/">stop solution to everything smart</a>, it looks like we are going to get our first glimpse of the OS at the event. Interestingly, Huawei executive has said that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/19/huawei-hongmeng-os-not-for-smartphones/">HongMeng is not really made for smartphones</a>. So, the new operating system&#8217;s target market is likely going to be this new Smart Screen from Honor, and probably a bunch of other smart products.</p>
<p>Given Huawei&#8217;s willingness to drop in a few teasers before the official event in August, we can expect to see more details in the coming days.</p>
