The Anker Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds, which the brand unveiled last month have finally debuted on Kickstarter. The Sleep A20 earbuds, launched by Soundcore in recognition of World Sleep Day, are designed to address common sleep issues. These earbuds come with features aimed at improving sleep quality through noise reduction and comfort.

Building on the features of its predecessor, the Sleep A10, the A20 model introduces a “twin seal” ear tip design that significantly increases noise isolation. This is complemented by Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology, which can reduce ambient noise by up to 21 dB, aiming to create a quieter environment for the user.

The design of the Sleep A20 earbuds focuses on comfort, particularly for individuals who sleep on their side, reducing pressure on the ears. The earbuds offer a variety of sound options, including white noise, which users can customize via the Soundcore app to suit their preferences for masking external sounds such as snoring.

One of the notable improvements in the A20 model is its battery life. The earbuds provide 14 hours of playback in sleep mode, with the charging case extending the total usage time to 80 hours. This improvement makes sure that can last through the night without recharging.

The Sleep A20 also includes features for sleep tracking, offering insights into sleep patterns and quality. Additionally, it has a built-in alarm function that allows for a personalized wake-up experience without disturbing others. In case the earbuds are misplaced, there is a “Find Device” function that helps users locate them by emitting a sound.

Pricing & availability

For those eyeing the Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds, they can secure a pair by pledging $104 on Kickstarter. Soundcore has disclosed that the earbuds will retail for $149.99. Shipping is available to several countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands, with expected delivery in May 2024.
