Stromer continues to develop and manufacture premium, high-quality e-bikes, and the ST3 is not an exception. The Swiss company has been in the business since 2009 and its forte is the urban commuter e-bike segment. The ST3 comes with commuter capabilities and exciting options for its further expansion. The Stromer ST3 is categorized as a speed pedelec in Europe. It has an integrated frame battery setup and several connectivity options.

The Stromer ST3 urban e-bike is a 2022 Red Dot Award winner and comes well-loaded with features and functionality. The model is built on an excitingly barebones frame consisting of an aluminum unit. It is available in two configurations namely Sport and Comfort. The bike sports an upright seating position for maximum leverage, efficiency, and comfort even for extended periods. The Comfort version of the ST3 features taller bars than the Sports version, hence it has a more upright stance.

The Stromer ST3 lacks a traditional suspension system but additional accessories include an upside-down fork and a Kinekt suspension seatpost. The Stromer ST3 speed pedelec is equipped with a Syno Drive II rear hub motor with a maximum of 820W power output. The e-bike has a top speed of 45km/h while its 48V 814Wh battery delivers up to 150km of range. Stromer is also offering a 983Wh battery that provides a range of 180km on a single charge.

The Stromer ST3 has a Shimano 11-speed drivetrain with further upgrades also available for a more exquisite ride experience. A Pinion internal gearbox and Blubrake ABS are other options available on the Stromer ST3. The e-bike has two Pirelli Cycle-e ST tires while control is achieved with Stromer HD942 hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm discs at both the front and rear. A built-in rear luggage rack can accommodate loads up to 22.5kg.

Connectivity options for the Stromer ST3 include Bluetooth, a companion mobile app, and real-time GPS tracking for added security. The bike also comes with integrated LED lights and a display on the handlebars.

Pricing & Availability

The Stromer ST3 is priced at $7,700 but the accessories can ramp up the price to above $10,000. The model is available in two color options namely cool white and deep black.
