<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung-galaxy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung Galaxy</a> device users can now enjoy the latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/bing-ai/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bing AI</a> feature from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/swiftkey/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Microsoft SwiftKey</a>, which is rolling out gradually with version 9.10.11.10. The Bing AI update was initially released for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ios/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iOS</a> and Android devices in mid-April, and it is now available on Samsung&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/one-ui/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">One UI</a>.</p>

<h2>Ways of using Bing AI on your SwiftKey Keyboard</h2>

<p>This integration means that Bing AI is pre-installed on virtually every Galaxy device with SwiftKey, and users can access it through three primary ways: Search, Chat, and Tone.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="557" height="540" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Samsung-Galaxy-SwiftKey-Bing-AI.jpeg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy SwiftKey Bing AI" class="wp-image-534041" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Samsung-Galaxy-SwiftKey-Bing-AI.jpeg 557w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Samsung-Galaxy-SwiftKey-Bing-AI-300x291.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Samsung-Galaxy-SwiftKey-Bing-AI-433x420.jpeg 433w" sizes="(max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px" /></figure></div>

<p>With Bing AI Search, users can search the web quickly without leaving the keyboard app. The Chat feature allows for more detailed queries and chat suggestions, while Tone helps users customize their text to fit the situation by adjusting the tone and formality of their messages. These features offer a significant upgrade to the SwiftKey keyboard and provide users with an enhanced typing experience.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> is reportedly considering replacing Google&#8217;s search engine with Bing as the default option on its Galaxy devices. While this move may have some implications due to potential repercussions regarding Android OS licenses. As the competition between tech giants heats up, it is likely that AI-driven features and services will play an increasingly significant role in enhancing user experiences.</p>

<p>Overall, the rollout of Bing AI to Samsung Galaxy devices is a positive development for users who want to stay on top of the latest tech trends. With SwiftKey and Bing AI now embedded in One UI, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> has effectively made the advanced AI tool available to millions of users worldwide. As <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ai/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">AI</a> continues to evolve, it is clear that the mobile device industry will keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible with these cutting-edge technologies.</p>

<p><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/swiftkey">SwiftKey</a> is a popular keyboard application that uses artificial intelligence to predict the next word a user is going to type. It is available on both <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/android">Android</a> and <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/ios">iOS</a> platforms and offers a range of features, including swipe-to-type, voice typing, emoji prediction, and multilingual support. SwiftKey uses machine learning to learn a user&#8217;s typing style and personalize the predictions accordingly, which leads to faster and more accurate typing. It also offers themes and customization options to make the keyboard more visually appealing. The company was acquired by Microsoft in 2016. The acquisition reportedly cost <a href="http://gizmochina.com/category/microsoft">Microsoft</a> around $250 million. After the acquisition, SwiftKey continued to operate as a standalone app and maintained its brand name. However, Microsoft has integrated some of SwiftKey&#8217;s technology into its own products, and now, Microsoft is integrating <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/bing-chat">Bing&#8217;s AI chatbot</a> with the application. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-1024x512.jpg?x10805" alt="Bing Chat" class="wp-image-528333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1-840x420.jpg 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/microsoft-bing-news-1536x768-1.jpg 1536w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2023/4/6/23672351/microsoft-swiftkey-bing-chat-ai-feature-android">The Verge</a>, users of SwiftKey Beta app on Android can now access the chatbot by tapping on a button above the keys. This integration not only provides one-tap access to the AI chatbot but also enables users to improve their text messages by having the AI feature rewrite them using different tones. With this new feature, SwiftKey for Android users can now enjoy the same functionality as Bing and Edge users in creating documents and emails. While this integration is slowly rolling out for Android users, Microsoft may feel the pressure to quickly integrate the AI chat feature with the iOS version of SwiftKey given the competition from other iOS third-party QWERTY keyboard apps with AI functionality.</p>

<p>Microsoft&#8217;s latest integration of the Bing Chat AI with SwiftKey for Android is yet another example of how the tech giant is leveraging its investment in <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/openai">OpenAI</a> to bring conversational AI chatbot <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/chatgpt">ChatGPT </a>to every aspect of its ecosystem. As AI technology advances, keyboard apps will likely become even more personalized and adaptive. Additionally, AI-powered keyboards could have a significant impact on accessibility, enabling users with physical disabilities to type more easily and efficiently.</p>

<p>The feature is called Swiftkey Puppet and is similar to Animoji on iOS or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a>&#8216;s AR Emoji. Users can record themselves as a dinosaur, cat, owl, dog, or panda and have their phone&#8217;s camera track their face so the app can animate their facial movements.</p>

<p>In order to create this feature, SwiftKey says that it tapped thousands of images and videos from volunteers to train a deep neural network capable of identifying each person’s expressions and movements in real time.</p>
<p>Since the Swiftkey Puppet is embedded in the keyboard app itself, it works with just about any app, though the ease of use varies. For instance, sending a video through Slack, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram requires you to select the recipient again even if you&#8217;re already in a message thread with them.</p>

<p><div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: </strong></span><a title="Vivo iQOO Neo vs Xiaomi Black Shark Helo vs Nubia Red Magic Mars: Specs Comparison" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/05/vivo-iqoo-neo-vs-xiaomi-black-shark-helo-vs-nubia-red-magic-mars-specs-comparison/" rel="bookmark"><strong>Vivo iQOO Neo vs Xiaomi Black Shark Helo vs Nubia Red Magic Mars: Gaming Smartphone Specs Comparison</strong></a></div></div></p>
<p>As per some user reports, the Puppets feature is still very rough as it doesn&#8217;t track mouth movements very well and sometimes it seems out of sync. Currently, the feature is in beta, so this will likely improve over time.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/microsoft">Microsoft</a> had acquired SwiftKey for around $250 million more than three years ago, and since then, the company has brought a number of new features to the app, including in-keyboard web search. The keyboard is notable for its extensibility, with users able to customize and add features — including GIFs, new theme options, translations, and a clipboard — to the keyboard’s top menu bar.</p>

<h4 style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Up Next:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/05/samsung-galaxy-tab-a-8-0-2019-goes-official-with-an-8-inch-display-and-5100-mah-battery/">Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) goes official with an 8-inch display and 5,100 mAh battery</a></strong></h4>
