The Indian premium smart TV market has been expanded with the latest offering by TCL, of three 4K smart TV models. The three new TCL smart TVs are the C825 4K miniLED TV which uses a miniLED screen as well as the C725 and C728 QLED 4K TVs, both packing an OLED screen.

The TCL TV models come with several impressive features including Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and are targeted at specific segments of the market. The 2021 C Series from TCL are priced from Rs. 64,990 (~$872) for the 50- inch model of the C725 to Rs. 149,990 (~$2,012) for the 65-inch version of the C825 miniLED TV. All the models would be available in India from July 7.

TCL C825 4K MiniLED TV 

The TCL C825 mini offers premium features and could well be the first QLED mini TV in the subcontinent, while the C725 offers video call functionality via its in-built camera, and the C728 will tickle the fancy of gaming enthusiasts. The features of the high-end C825 mini LED TV ensures that it offers crisp quality audio and video output for a compelling viewing experience. The great visuals of the C825 mini are a result of the Dolby Vision feature, the presence of Quantum Dot Nanocrystals, and its light sensors which optimize the picture quality based on the ambient light conditions of the room. This is coupled with a 110% DCI P3 color volume, which accentuates the most accurate colors and displays life-like visuals. With its 1080p wide-angle magic camera, the C825 supports video calls and gesture controls.

TCL C725 and C728 QLED TV

Both the C725 and C728 bear some similar features, although the C728 has a gaming focus. Both TVs have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, while Ultra low-latency gaming is present in the C728.

The C725 and C728 come in three size variants. While the C725 has 50, 55, and 65 inches, the C728 comes in 55, 65, and 75 inches. They’ll run on Android TV 11, and both have hands-free voice control 2.0, Google Assistant, and Alexa. The Game Center Camera is available for Google Duo calls for the C728.

TCL says the three models and others in the 2021 C series TVs will get an update to Google TV from September to offer excellent and personalized content to users.

All the models will be available either through Amazon India, TLC online store, and Reliance Digital both online and offline.
