<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tcl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TCL</a> has recently announced the launch of its brand new range of QLED TVs, the Q Class series for 2023. The series comprises three models, the Q6, Q7, and QM8, all of which come with advanced features and significant upgrades compared to their previous generation.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-1024x768.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-537555" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-1024x768.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-300x225.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-768x576.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-696x522.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-1068x801.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-560x420.png 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy-265x198.png 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/5_Google_autogame_imaxAuto_Game_Mode_1440_copy.png 1089w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>One of the major highlights of these TVs is the Quantum Dot technology, which enhances color accuracy and provides a wider range of colors than traditional LED TVs. Additionally, the UltraWide Color Gamut feature ensures that the TVs display more vivid and accurate colors than standard TVs. This makes the viewing experience more immersive and enjoyable.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="720" height="480" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q6.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-537552" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q6.png 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q6-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q6-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q6-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></figure></div>

<p>The entry-level Q6 model boasts a direct LED display with a peak brightness of 700 nits. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and features a 60Hz refresh rate. The mid-range Q7 model, on the other hand, has a Mini LED display with 2,000 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It also supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and features a 120Hz refresh rate, making it an ideal choice for avid gamers. Lastly, the top-of-the-line QM8 model has a Mini LED display with 2,300 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and also has a 120Hz refresh rate. This model is undoubtedly a premium choice for home entertainment enthusiasts who want nothing but the best viewing experience.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="720" height="480" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q7.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-537553" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q7.png 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q7-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q7-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/TCL_Q7-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></figure></div>

<p>All three models of the TCL QLED Q Class TV range feature the Google TV OS, which makes it easier to access streaming services and content. It also supports voice commands using either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Additionally, the TVs come with built-in speaker systems, with the QM8 model having a 40W sound system with a subwoofer for an enhanced audio experience.</p>

<h2>Pricing &amp; availability</h2>

<p>The Q6 comes in different sizes, including the 55-inch model priced at $499.99, the 65-inch variant at $699.99, the 75-inch option at $899.99, and the grand 85-inch edition at $1,599.99. Many companies including Samsung, Visionox, and TCL showcased their best display technologies but the Chinese display manufacturer, BOE, stole the show with its unique 17.3-inch foldable AMOLED display for laptops.</p>
<p>BOE&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/foldable-display/">foldable display</a>, the world&#8217;s first and largest of its kind, drew a large number of visitors at the exhibition. The display features a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and ultra-slim bezels. It has a 4:3 aspect ratio and offers a 2560 x 1920 resolution. Moreover, the f-OLED display comes with 10bit RGB and HDR500.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-460632 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Boe-f-oled-display.jpg?x10805" alt="Boe 17.3-inch Foldable AMOLED display" width="676" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Boe-f-oled-display.jpg 554w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Boe-f-oled-display-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px" /></p>
<p>For the unversed, f-OLED is BOE&#8217;s one-of-a-kind flexible <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oled/">OLED</a> technology solution. It comes in several forms such as full-screen display, foldable display, and rollable display. It can be integrated with multiple features such as under-display fingerprint recognition, under-display camera, and biometrics. Hence, opening up a whole new world of flexible displays.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/boe/">BOE</a> revealed that the new f-OLED displays will be supplied exclusively to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus/">ASUS</a> for the ZenBook 17-Fold OLED laptop launching later this year. BOE also won the award for Best Technology Demonstration for its 17.3-in. foldable OLED display.</p>

<p>The company also showcased the world’s largest 95-inch 8K OLED display at the exhibition. This display is created using high-end TFT technology and a white OLED <span class="red-underline" data-startindex="161" data-endindex="165" data-paragraphid="17">vapor</span> deposition process. <span class="blue-complex-underline error-hovered" data-startindex="187" data-endindex="348" data-paragraphid="17">The display delivers pixel-level light management and maximum HDR image quality, demonstrating the company’s technological supremacy in large-sized OLED displays.</span></p>
<p>Aside from BOE, TCL also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/05/16/tcl-futuristic-looking-displays-sid-2022/">revealed</a> some impressive display technologies. It unveiled its 34-inch WQHD R1500 curved <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mini-led/">Mini LED</a> display designed especially for e-sports. The Mini LED display offers a 21:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio, a 165Hz high refresh rate, and a fast-responding HVA screen with a smaller halo.</p>

<p>The TCL X12 8K Mini LED Smart Screen is said to be the world&#8217;s first OD Zero Mini LED smart screen as well as the thinnest Mini LED smart TV around. It is also the Mini LED smart screen with the most LED chips.</p>

In terms of picture quality, the TCL X12 8K Mini LED Smart Screen uses Quantum Dot Pro technology, with an ultra-high color gamut of 157% (BT.709).<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/TCL-X12-8K-Mini-LED-Smart-Screen-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-376171" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/TCL-X12-8K-Mini-LED-Smart-Screen-2.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="648" height="367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/TCL-X12-8K-Mini-LED-Smart-Screen-2.jpg 648w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/TCL-X12-8K-Mini-LED-Smart-Screen-2-300x170.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 648px) 100vw, 648px" /></a></p>
