Tecno has quietly released a new device in the Camon 30 series. The Camon 30S Pro is listed on the company’s official website. The latest offering joins the existing 4G and 5G Camon 30, Camon 30 Premier, and Camon 30 Pro. As per the listing, the device packs some impressive specifications and features. Tecno Camon 30S Pro specifications

The Tecno Camon 30S Pro features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display surrounded by thin bezels. It features an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits peak brightness. The screen also has aqua touch technology that makes it responsive to wet or sweaty hands. The smartphone has a slim profile with a circular camera island on the rear. On the audio front, there is a dual stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos. 

The Tecno Camon 30S Pro has a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony IMX896 1/1.56-inch main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens at the back. As per the listing, there is also a third unit but it has not been mentioned. On the front, the device features a 50MP selfie snapper with autofocus eye-tracking. It comes with features like AIGC portrait mode, AI eraser, and more. 

Under the hood, the listing reveals that the Tecno Camon 30S Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G100 processor based on 6nm which is yet to be announced by the chipmaker. The Tecno Camon 30S Pro is listed on Google Play Console and TUV Rheinland certifications with the model number CLA6. The Play Console database mentions the processor codenamed MediaTek MT6789 comprising of two A76 cores at 2.2GHz and six A55 cores ticking at 2GHz. There is Mali G57 GPU onboard. This suggests that the device will be powered by a Helio G99 chipset under the hood. 

The certification also reveals that the Camon 30S Pro will pack 12GB RAM onboard. It will ship with Android 14 OS out of the box. The device will have a display resolution of 1,080 x 2,436 pixels and a screen density of 480 dpi.
