<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/tecno/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tecno</a> has officially taken the wraps off its latest Camon 40 series smartphones. The lineup includes four devices: the Camon 40 Premier 5G, Camon 40 Pro 5G, Camon 40 Pro, and the standard Camon 40.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-676202" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-series-price-specs-launch-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>Tecno Camon 40 / 40 Pro / 40 Pro 5G</strong></h2>

<p>The Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro are the more affordable 4G variants in the lineup, both powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. They feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="421" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-676203" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design-300x140.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design-768x359.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design-696x326.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Pro-5G-design-898x420.jpg 898w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Powering the devices is a 5,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The key difference between the two is that Camon 40 Pro gets a 50MP selfie camera, while the standard Camon 40 sticks with a 32MP front shooter. On the back, both models share the same 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a depth sensor.</p>

<p>Step up to the Camon 40 Pro 5G, and you’ll find mostly the same package—except for the chipset. It swaps in a Dimensity 7300 SoC, bringing 5G support, but everything else from the design to the battery remains unchanged.</p>

<h2><strong>Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>The real standout in the lineup is the Camon 40 Premier 5G. It ditches the vertical camera design of other models for a circular camera module. This houses three 50MP lenses for wide, ultrawide, and 3x optical zoom shots. And not to forget, the main lens has OIS support. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-676204" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Premier-5G-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The front camera also gets a 50MP sensor with autofocus. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Dimensity 8350 chip and packs a slightly smaller 5,100mAh battery, but it supports faster 70W charging. The display is also upgraded to a 6.67-inch panel with a sharper 1260p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>Tecno hasn’t revealed pricing or availability details yet. We can expect more information once the devices start making their regional debuts.</p>

<h2>Tecno Camon 40 Series &amp; Other Debuted in MWC 2025</h2>

<p>The Tecno Camon 40 series has finally made its debut after teasers and leaks over the last several weeks. Unfortunately, this was just an official announcement for these upcoming devices, but did not reveal their finer specs and features. Tecno&#8217;s latest Camon 40 lineup is expected to feature the MediaTek processors and support for various Tecno AI powered tools like AI Call Assistant, AI Writing, and AI Image Generation.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="561" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-1024x561.jpg?x44794" alt="Tecno Camon 40 Series" class="wp-image-675718" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-1024x561.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-300x165.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-768x421.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-696x382.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-1068x586.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series-766x420.jpg 766w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Camon-40-Series.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Tecno Camon 40 Series</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the rear, the Tecno Camon 40 Premiere may house a 50MP camera, which is the same sensor that can be found on the Tecno&#8217;s AI glasses. But that&#8217;s not all, the brand also showcased a couple of other new products like three new Megabook laptop models, a brand new smartwatch, and TWS earbuds. Tecno showcased the Megabook S14, Megabook K15S, Megabook T14 Air, Tecno Watch GT 1, and Tecno True 2 TWS earbuds.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="440" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-1024x440.jpg?x44794" alt="Tecno Megabook S14" class="wp-image-675757" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-1024x440.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-300x129.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-768x330.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-696x299.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-1068x459.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14-977x420.jpg 977w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Tecno-Megabook-S14.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Tecno Megabook S14</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>We also got sneak peeks at the features of these products with the Megabook S15 being the industry&#8217;s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop with an 899 gram body and 2.8K resolution. The Megabook T14 Air also measures just 999 grams and uses a durable magnesium alloy body. Lastly, there is the Megabook K15S that arrives with an all metal thin and light body as well. The Watch GT 1 features various health related trackers while the True 2 earbuds offer up to 45 decibels of ANC and 50 hour battery life.</p>

<h2>Tecno Camon 40 Premier &amp; Camon 40 4G Certified</h2>

<p>The Tecno Camon 40 Premier is expected to be the top end model from the brand&#8217;s Camon 40 lineup. To recall, these are Tecno&#8217;s mid range smartphone series. On the FCC database, the Camon 40 Premier carries the CM8 model number. While finer details regarding its specifications are still unknown. But the certification did confirm 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. </p>

<p>It arrives with support for 5G NR, 4G LTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. The FCC certification lists the Camon 40 Premier with a charging adapter that has a U700TSA model number, which offers 70W fast charging. Even the rear design of the Camon 40 Premier was revealed in design schematics. We can see a large circular camera island that houses the image sensors and an LED flash module. </p>

<p>There appear to be two cameras along with a periscope telephoto shooter on the back. Interestingly, there is also an additional button along with the volume rockers and power button. On the other hand, the Camon 40 4G was certified in Thailand&#8217;s NBTC database. It was spotted carrying the CM6 model number, but unlike the Camon 40 Premier, the Camon 40 4G did not have any features or specs revealed.</p>
