After many teasers, Tecno has finally launched the Megabook T1 laptop in India. The laptop has many attractive features onboard like 11th Gen Intel Core processors, a metal body a large battery, and a fingerprint scanner. Keep reading for more details.

The Tecno Megabook T1 boasts a 15.6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, offering vivid visuals with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and a brightness of 350nits. Its sleek design measures just 14.8mm in thickness and features an aluminum metal casing for a premium look and feel. This laptop is designed with user comfort in mind, featuring DC Adaptive Dimming technology and TÜV Eye Comfort Certification.

Under the hood, users have the option of choosing between 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM paired with either a 512GB or 1TB SSD for seamless performance. It is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core processors, including i3, i5, and i7 options, ensuring smooth multitasking and productivity.

The Megabook T1 is equipped with a robust 70Wh battery that offers impressive battery life, with up to 17.5 hours of usage on a single charge. Charging is made convenient with the included 65W Next-gen GaN charger. Typing in low-light conditions is a breeze with the Starry Backlit Keyboard, and privacy is ensured with the integrated 2MP Physical Privacy Camera and Fingerprint Power button for secure login.

For efficient cooling, the laptop features VC Cooling and a Dual Fan design. It also incorporates TECNO VOC features, including TECNO Audio Lab, Dual Mic Plus AI ENC Tech, DTS Immersive sound, and One Leap Multi-Screen Collaboration, enhancing the overall user experience.

For connectivity, the laptop comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 and TECNO Link. The laptop offers a variety of ports, including a TF Card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 port, two Type-C ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a reset button. Despite its impressive features, the Megabook T1 remains portable, weighing just 1.56kg, making it a versatile choice for on-the-go professionals and students alike.

The Tecno Megabook T1 offers three configurations:

1. Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD: Rs. 59,999 (Early bird: Rs. 57,999) – Available in Denim Blue, Space Grey, and Moonshine Silver.
2. Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD: Rs. 49,999 (Early bird: Rs. 47,999).
3. Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD: Rs. 39,999 (Early bird: Rs. 37,999) – Available in Space Grey and Moonshine Silver.

The Tecno Megabook T1 will be on sale exclusively on Amazon.in from September 13th, 2023, with early bird pricing. The official sale begins on September 19th, 2023.

On Aug. 12, Tecno unveiled the Megabook T1 in India. At that time, the company confirmed the variants of the device but did not reveal the price. Its Amazon page revealing key features is now live, and the company also confirmed its price on X.

Tecno Megabook T1 price in India

Tecno revealed that the Megabook T1 has a starting price of Rs 37,999 (~$457). It is a special early bird price and is all set to be available for purchase on Sept. 13. The brand previously confirmed that the device will be offered in three variants: 8 GB RAM + 1 TB SSD storage featuring the Core i3 CPU, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD storage with the Core i5 CPU, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage with the Core i7 CPU.

The Tecno Megabook T1 has a thickness of 14.8mm and weighs 1.56kg. It has a 15.6-inch LCD panel that offers 350 nits of brightness, a 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and DC dimming. The device is powered by an 11th-generation Intel processor, up to 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD storage.

The Megabook T1 ships with a 70Wh battery that offers up to 17.5 hours of battery life. It supports 65W fast charging. For heat dissipation, the device features a dual fan setup (only on the i7 variant) and a VC cooling unit. The notebook comes with Windows 11, a four-level backlit keyboard with a big trackpad, and dual stereo speakers with DTX X sound technology.

On the connectivity front, the Megabook T1 is equipped with Tecno’s OneLeap multi-screen collaboration, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 port, a USB-C port, a USB-C port with charging support, an HDMI 1.4 port, a TF card slot, a 3.5mm headphone / microphone combo jack, The notebook also features a fingerprint scanner, a privacy cover for the FHD webcam, and dual microphones with AI ENC technology.

Back in August, at the Pova 5 series launch event, Tecno showcased its first-ever laptop (MegaBook T1) in India. This computer was originally unveiled at IFA 2022 and has been on sale in some countries for months.

Today, the brand has revealed that the notebook will be soon available for purchase in India. Unfortunately, it hasn’t disclosed the sale date yet. But hints at what consumers can expect.

The Tecno MegaBook T1 heading to India will be the same as the one sold in other regions. We already knew it, thanks to the presentation of the product at the World Of TECNOlogy event last month.

The MegaBook T1 sports an aluminum alloy body like most premium laptops on the market. It has a thickness of about 14.8mm and weighs around 1.56kg.

The device flaunts a 15.6-inch LCD screen with an FHD resolution, DC dimming, and 350 nits peak brightness level. On the connectivity front, it comes with WiFi 6, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.1 port, 2 x USB Type-C ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm jack.

Under the hood, it houses 11th Gen Intel Core processors and a 70Wh battery. It will be offered with Core i3, Core i5, and even Core i7 chipsets.

In fact, at the event, the company revealed the exact configurations that will be sold in India. The computer will be available in the following variants. 

• 11th Gen Intel Core i3, 8GB + 512GB
• 11th Gen Intel Core i5, 16GB + 512GB
• 11th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB + 1TB

Other features of the notebook include a backlit keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, a 2MP webcam, a TF card reader, a safety lock, dual speakers, and 65W charging.

Tecno says that its first laptop in India will be soon available via early bird sale with exciting launch offers.

TECNO has become the latest smartphone brand to foray into the laptop segment in India. The brand announced its first offering in the country called the MegaBook T1. The device was revealed alongside the POVA 5 series smartphones at the World Of TECNOlogy event. The MegaBook T1 was first launched at IFA last year. Read on to know what it offers out of the box.

The TECNO MegaBook T1 comes with a 15.6-inch display surrounded by thin bezels. It bears an FHD resolution and 350 nits peak brightness along with 100 percent sRGB color gamut and adaptive DC Dimming. Design-wise, it is 14.8mm thin and weighs just 1.48 kg. The lid of the laptop has a shiny strip running horizontally. The device has a fingerprint scanner for secure access. 

The TECNO MegaBook T1 features a 2MP webcam. It is equipped with dual speakers with DTS immersive sound. There are also dual microphones and AI environmental noise cancellation for clear quality on calls. 

Under the hood, the TECNO MegaBook T1 houses up to 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor. The laptop packs up to 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The device draws its power from a 70Wh battery cell with support for 65W fast charging. Software-wise, the MegaBook T1 runs on Windows 11 OS. 

The TECNO MegaBook T1 has connectivity options like two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 port, two USB-C ports, an HDMI port, WiFi 6, and a 3.5mm jack. 

TECNO has not revealed the pricing and availability of the MegaBook T1 laptop in India. However, the brand announced that it will be offered in Core i3 with 8GB + 512GB variant,  Core i5 with 16GB + 512GB, and Core i7 with 16GB + 1TB configurations.

Fueled with a massive 70Wh battery the laptop gives you up to 17 hours of non-stop battery life and comes with a 65W GaN charger that is 400 times faster and 100 times lighter than contemporary laptop chargers.  This means you can easily carry your Megabook T1 for work, study, and travel without worrying about its battery life and bulkiness.

Megabook T1 features a 15.6 inch IPS Full HD display that uses 100% sRGB and comes with TUV eye comfort certification, 350nits brightness, and DC adaptive dimming. This means you get a fluid display that gives you a great visual experience, accurate color, and image projection and protects your eye from harmful blue light and retinal damage. 

To enhance your audio experience, Megabook T1 uses the indigenously developed TECNO VOC sound system that combines AI tech with Tecno audio lab and DTS immersive sound.
