Starting today, the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro is available on Amazon India with a price tag of ₹49,999. The device is offered in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM configuration.

For bank offers, Kotak Mahindra Bank cardholders will get ₹1,000 discount, while EMI using Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Card will get you a ₹1,250 discount.

The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro 5G will have a 6.8-inch curved-edge FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will be powered by the Dimensity 9000. It includes a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging capability, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and these components.

The Phantom X2 Pro 5G will include a 32-megapixel selfie camera. A 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel portrait camera with a retractable lens, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens will be featured on the back of the device. It will come pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system, which is based on HiOS 12.

Tecno recently launched the Phantom X2 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The brand is now readying up to launch the Techno Phantom X2 Pro 5G soon. While the official launch date has not been made public yet, the company will start taking pre-orders for the smartphone starting tomorrow (January 17).

Ahead of the launch, the pricing of the Phantom X2 Pro 5G has been leaked. As per tipster Anir Chakraborty, the Phantom X2 Pro 5G will be priced at Rs 49,999. It will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, according to the device’s Amazon India landing page. Mars Orange and Stardust Grey will be the colors offered.

It appears that the picture is a screenshot of a listing that appeared on Amazon India. But since the image’s authenticity could not be verified, it is wise to take the leak with a grain of salt.

Pre-orderers of the Phantom X2 Pro 5G through Amazon will be eligible for promotions like an additional Rs 5,000 discount on phone exchange, a 12-month free Amazon Prime membership, and six months of interest-free financing. A premium business gift box will be given away for free to the first 600 customers who pre-order the Phantom X2 Pro 5G through offline retailers. 50 lucky buyers who pre-order the Phantom X2 Pro through Amazon or a physical retailer will receive a free upgrade to the Phantom X3 5G. Additionally, the company is offering a special discount of Rs 2,000 as part of the launch campaign.

Tecno recently launched the Camon 19 series globally and is preparing to soon debut the Camon 19 and Camon 19 Neo smartphones in India.

Now, a new report has revealed that the brand is working on the Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro. TechGoing has spotted both the devices on the EEC certification site.

The certification reveals that the Tecno Phantom X2 5G has the model number KZ0000005040. The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro on the other has the model number KZ0000005042. The listing does not reveal any specifications of the devices. However, since the phones have started getting certified, we can expect some details to emerge soon.

Till then, we can look at the Tecno Phantom X to get an idea of what to expect from the Phantom X2 series.

Tecno Phantom X specs

The Phantom X has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a pill-shaped camera cutout in the top left and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC along with Mali G57 GPU. For memory, the Phantom X is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It offers a 4,700mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging

As for optics, the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait camera. On the front, the device has a 48-megapixel selfie shooter and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
