Transsion Holdings subsidiary Tecno has officially revealed that the Spark 8 Pro premium mid-range smartphone will be launched in India on December 29. This comes after a first tweet in wich the company only promoted the impending launch without specifying a launch date. A second tweet has now been posted, revealing the smartphone will be launched on December 29. 

The Tecno Spark 8 Pro is expected to emerge as the successor to the Spark 8 that was launched in August this year. The company did tease that the device will arrive with support for 33W fast charging support. The “super-fast charger” is expected to deliver a charge of 85% of the battery capacity in just one hour.  For comparison, the vanilla Spark 8 comes with a disappointing 10W charger.

Furthermore, the teaser poster hints at a punch-hole display design onboard the Spark 8 Pro. The device will also pack a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera. Other specs of the device can be gotten from the Bangladesh launch last month. The device will be powered by a Helio G85 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
