THANKO is a Japanese company known for making interesting products that sometimes border on being ridiculous. The manufacturer’s latest product is a sleep mask that doubles as an alarm clock.

The THANKO Sleep Mask may look like an ordinary sleep mask but it has a few tricks. It doesn’t only help you sleep but can also wake you up without disturbing others around you.

The product has LEDs built-in that will gradually brighten, simulating natural light to gently wake you up. You can also have the mask vibrate instead. There is even an option to use both light and vibration to wake you up from sleep. The good thing is that your sleep partner won’t be disturbed if they have a different waking time from yours.

There is an accompanying app to set up alarms and what method to use to wake you up. The app will also let you check the sleep mask’s battery life. THANKO says the sleep mask has a 400mAh battery that charges via USB. An image provided shows you can even charge it using a power bank. A single charge should last up to 30 days.
