Gionee was trying to stand out from the Huaweis，Nubia，Xiaomi，oneplus，oppos of  smartphone-mad China  with its new Elife S5.5, Gionee recently refreshed it’s “World’ s thinnest smartphone” series with another model boasting 5mm waistline, 139.8×67.4×5.0(mm)，weighted at 94.6g. And the phone supports China Mobile’s 4G TD-LTE.

It’s powered with 4.8″ 720p screen, MTK quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM，8-megapixel back/5-megapixel front cameras，2050mAh battery running Android 4.3.

One of Chinese smartphone manufacturer, BBK is now ready to release their new Android smartphone, that’s the BBK Vivo X3 which has only has 6mm (0.236 inches) body thickness making it slimmer than an iPod Touch 5th Gen and Huewai Ascend P6, which hold a thinest phone that measures at 6.18mm before.

So, the Vivo X3 is beat the Huawei Ascend P6 records and now Vivo is got the new record as a thinnest phone in the world, sinct this phone is packes witj 6 mm. The Vivo X6 has been available in Weibo website, this phone is comparing with another smartphone to compares the body thickness.

The new BBK Vivo X3 will available in August this year, but  we don’t have any information abut the detailed specs and price.

While some smartphone manufacturer claim they has built the thinnest phone, and some manufacturer ready to compare their product with Apple iPone 5 body thickness, Is now there is another product which becoming the world thinnest smartphone with only 6.55mm body thickness, its Vivo X1.

The Vivo X1 is come from one of Shenzhen based manufacturer BBK, this phone is ready on the market on early November. This phone is not only offers the thinnest body but this phone is also has good specs since powered by a 1GHz Mediatek MT6577 Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU, 4.7″ 1280 x 720 pixels display, 8 megapixel camera, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The phone comes with a pair of Beyerdynamic DTX71IE earphones, and a quad-core variant of the X1 will be available in February next year. The Vivo X1 also beats the Oppo Find 5 by 0.1mm, though the Find 5 sports a 1080p display and specs that the X1 can’t dream to match, at least not until the quad-core variant of the X1 releases in 2013.
