The TicWatch Pro lineup was first introduced last year and later in the year, Mobvoi introduced an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/10/mobvoi-announces-ticwatch-pro-4g-lte-more-ram-more-protection-for-299/">upgraded version with 4G LTE connectivity</a>. The TicWatch Pro 2020 comes with several upgrades over the past cycle including expanded RAM, presently going up to 1 GB of RAM rather than 512 MB of RAM. It&#8217;s additionally progressively tough, being evaluated MIL-STD-810G for protection from shock, dust, water, and extraordinary weather conditions. It&#8217;s IP68-rated and can stay inside the water of depth up to 1.50m for close to an hour.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-306477" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2.jpg?x10805" alt="TicWatch Pro " width="970" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2.jpg 970w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2-300x93.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2-768x238.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-2-696x215.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 970px) 100vw, 970px" /></a></p>
<p>As for the watch itself, it&#8217;ll come in two hues &#8211; Shadow Black and Liquid Metal Silver. The strap is made from calfskin or skin-friendly silicone, while the screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. It retains a <span class="a-list-item">1.39-inch AMOLED FSTN Touch Screen with a resolution of 00 x 400 pixels. The case is made of Polyamide and Glass Fiber while the bezel is made from Stainless Steel. the watch has a diameter of </span><span class="a-list-item">45mm and is 12.6mm thick, weighing in at 58.5g.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-306478" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3.jpg?x10805" alt="TicWatch Pro 2020" width="970" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3.jpg 970w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3-300x186.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3-768x475.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3-356x220.jpg 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3-696x431.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ticwatch_pro-3-679x420.jpg 679w" sizes="(max-width: 970px) 100vw, 970px" /></a></span></p>
<p>One major drawback to this upgraded model is that it still utilizes the old Snapdragon 2100 processor. Since this is an upgrade, we expected it to come with a newer SoC. Yes, the improved RAM may help with execution, however easily overlooked details like battery life would have profited from an improved processor.</p>
<p>The TicWatch Pro 2020 is already available to buy on Amazon and goes on sale on Mobvoi&#8217;s website from the beginning of March. It is priced at $259.</p>

The smartwatch has now officially gone on sale via <a href="https://amzn.to/2NMZ1Bw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amazon</a> with shipping available to several countries globally. The wearable device was expected to be priced at less than $300 and indeed, it is way less. The TicWatch Pro comes with a $249.99 price tag.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-200826" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro.png?x10805" alt="TicWatch pro" width="499" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro.png 499w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/ticwatch-pro-270x270.png 270w" sizes="(max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px" /></a></p>
<p>TicWatch Pro comes with several features that set it apart from its predecessors. Some of the features include a heart rate sensor, NFC for Google Pay, GPS and an OLED display. These are ordinarily not exclusive features since they are also found on other Wear OS running <a href="https://amzn.to/2NKZNi7" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">smartwatches</a> like the LG Watch Sport and <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Huawei</a> Watch 2. The TicWatch Pro sets itself apart with the inclusion of an FTSN LCD display on top of the OLED display.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-193016" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg?x10805" alt="TicWatch Pro" width="680" height="453" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></a></p>
<p>The OLED display underneath is the main display where the Wear OS and its attractive UI are shown. Whereas the FTSN LCD display is transparent and shows your heart rate, step count, and the time. The secondary display is obviously a low power display which will be always on. The smartwatch turns off the Wear OS display when left alone and when you need to use the watch, it turns back on.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-193015" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2-1024x683.jpg?x10805" alt="TicWatch Pro" width="640" height="427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-2.jpg 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>

<p>Furthermore, the TicWatch Pro sports an Essential Mode which runs on only the low-power FTSN LCD display. In the Essential Mode, the TicWatch Pro still monitors your steps and heart rate, as well as the calories burned. The smartwatch can run for up to 30 days if running on Essential Mode. You can at any time switch to Wear OS and that will happen within a minute. The device also comes with NFC which makes it suitable for cardless payment. The company will, later on, release an LTE version of the smartwatch.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>As can be gathered from the “Pro” moniker, the TicWatch Pro comes with several features that set it apart from its predecessors. Some of the features include a heart rate sensor, NFC for Google Pay, GPS and an OLED display. These are ordinarily not exclusive features since they are also found on other Wear OS running <a href="https://www.gearbest.com/smartwatch-_gear/?lkid=14262305" target="_blank" rel="noopener">smartwatches</a> like the LG Watch Sport and <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> Watch 2. The TicWatch Pro sets itself apart with the inclusion of a FTSN LCD display on top of the OLED display.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-193016" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg?x10805" alt="TicWatch Pro" width="680" height="453" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TicWatch-Pro-smartwatch-powered-by-Wear-OS-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></a></p>

<p>The TicWatch Pro comes with an Essential Mode which runs on only the low-power FTSN LCD display. In the Essential Mode, the TicWatch Pro still monitors your steps and heart rate, as well as the calories burned theoretically. The smartwatch can run for up to 30 days if running on Essential Mode. A little snag with this is that you&#8217;ll have to wait a full minute if you want to switch to Wear OS.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gearbest.com/smartwatch-_gear/?lkid=14262305" target="_blank" rel="noopener">smartwatch</a> will be available soon and will be priced under $300. The watch might get an LTE model for the U.S in due course.</p>
