The predecessor has been a huge success and is famous for the decent Hi-Fi audio quality it offers at a budgeted price of just $99. Its 3-stage amplification pathway can drive a range of demanding audiophile-grade headphones with impedances of up to 150 ohms. OPA1612 offers decent audio quality and distortion properties.
