Xiaomi has launched a new product which would be very useful this summer and it is the Turok Steinhardt Swimming Googles. The Xiaomi TS Swimming Glasses is a useful addition to the large collection of eye glasses that Xiaomi has released this year alone, most of them in collaboration with Turok Steinhardt under the crowdfunding platform. This year alone, we have seen the 199 Yuan ($29) Turok Steinhardt Sunglasses, then the Roidmi Glasses with Anti-UV Protection . The tech giant has also launched the an Anti-Blue Light Sunglasses priced at 249 Yuan ($36)and just two weeks back, it added another pair of Turok Steinhardt anti-blue light glasses.

The new TS Swimming glasses is designed to give a clear view underwater adn is designed with a adjustable headband with zipper tape design which fits all types of head sizes comfortably. The headband is easy to wear and easy to remove and increases the wearing comfort.

The glass has a 3D curved design and comes with a silicone gasket which fits the eyes very well, providing comfort and also prevents the entry of water into the eyes. The nose stump is also replaceable. The has a mirror and frame which seems to be molded together. The mirror finish keeps the underwater vision unchanged and provides a wide field of view. The lens also comes with a special anti-fog coating which ensures nothing impedes the wearer view underwater.

The Swimming google comes with a price tag of 69 Yuan ($10) and is presently available on the Mi Home crowdfunding platform.

Xiaomi’s MIJIA platform is where the Chinese company announces its crowdfunded items, most of which are under the general lifestyle category. This year it has added eye glasses to its catalog, four so far, and it doesn’t seem it is stopping anytime soon. Turok Steinhardt, the company that made three out of the four glasses, has announced a new pair of anti-blue light glasses.

The glasses protects the eyes from blue light emitted by phone’s LED TVs, computer monitors, and fluorescent lights. Not all blue light is actually bad but just the ones emitted by electronics and LED lights. The effect of blue-light includes dry and strained eyes, blurry vision, headaches and a damaged sleep cycle.

The Turok Steinhardt anti-blue light glasses protects the eyes by using a yellow-tinted filter. It is said to have a 35% blue-light blocking rate. The glasses measures 54 –  17- 138 mm (frame size, nose width, and frame width) and is super-light at just 8g, just a little more than an A4 paper. It is already on sale for ¥99 (~$15).

This year, Xiaomi’s Mijia platform has crowdfunded a lot of interesting products. There is the planet tea cup, the red-dot steel pot set, the mini j refrigerator, and a bone china dish set. While those are kitchen related, it has also launched three eyeglasses and has announced a fourth one today.

The new glasses is made by Turok Steinhardt, the same manufacturer of the last two. While the previous ones were a pair of aviator sunglasses and an anti-UV glasses, this one is a pair of correctional glasses for those suffering from myopia.

There is however something special about this new pair of seeing glasses, and that is because it doubles as a pair of sunglasses too. It contains photochromic particles that automatically change color when you are outdoors, or when you are indoors and there is very bright light, serving as a pair of corrective sunglasses. So you can say this is 2 for the price of 1.

It also protects against UVA and UVB rays. The new Turok Steinhardt glasses is available in three different shapes and two colors that are stylish and comfortable to wear. The frame is light, weighing just 7.5g and has a temperature range of -30°C to 230°C.

Price for the Turok Steinhardt glasses is ¥300 ($45) and shipping is scheduled for 20th of August. You can also select the degree of curvature you want the glasses to have when you place your order. Buyers are also required to submit their optometry data to Turok Steinhardt’  WeChat’s channel, “TSanjing”.
