<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-pad-go/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad Go</a> launch is right around the corner. But prior to the official release, the company shared a new teaser for this upcoming tablet. This teaser shares a feature that will be making its way to the Pad Go model, which will make it eye-friendly for the user.</p>

<h2>OnePlus Pad Go Display</h2>

<p>The Chinese smartphone maker shared the teaser via their official X handle (formerly Twitter). Looking at the image poster, OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad Go will feature TUV Rheinland certification, which basically means that it supports low blue light technology. Lower blue light enables better protection of the users&#8217; eyes. Based on what we know so far, the OnePlus Pad Go sports a tall 11.35-inch display, which features a 2.4K resolution and an aspect ratio of 7:5.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="680" height="680" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/OnePlus-Pad-Go-TUV-Rheinland.jpeg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Pad Go" class="wp-image-570646" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/OnePlus-Pad-Go-TUV-Rheinland.jpeg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/OnePlus-Pad-Go-TUV-Rheinland-300x300.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/OnePlus-Pad-Go-TUV-Rheinland-150x150.jpeg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/OnePlus-Pad-Go-TUV-Rheinland-420x420.jpeg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></figure></div>

<p>Furthermore, the new tablet will be equipped with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/09/26/oneplus-pad-go-dolby-atmos-quad-speakers/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">quad speaker setup, which features Dolby Atmos support</a>. The pricing of the OnePlys Pad Go is set to be announced on 6th October 2023. The Go also reveals that the new tablet is likely a more affordable tablet compared to the OnePlus Pad model. Earlier this week, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/09/27/oneplus-pad-go-specs-leak-reveals-helio-g99-8000mah-battery/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">leak </a>revealed that the Pad Go might be powered by a massive 8,000mAh battery pack. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.</p>

<p>This chipset could be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Other notable features include an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, and Android 13 OS based OyxgenOS 13.2 custom skin out of the box.</p>

The Germany-based TUV Rheinland certification means the Xiaomi products successfully scaled the stringent testing hurdles that indicate a great air purification process for the products.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-20/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-484329" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact" width="1732" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi.jpg 1732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-768x511.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-1536x1022.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-696x463.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-1068x710.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Xiaomi-631x420.jpg 631w" sizes="(max-width: 1732px) 100vw, 1732px" /></a></p>
<p>The TUV Rheinland standards include the efficiency of the device’s filter elements, the purification rate of indoor allergens, indoor environmental assessment, and more. The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact has thus scaled through these requirements with some of the test results also released. The lineup of Xiaomi Smart Air Purifiers is shown to be highly effective in purifying a host of indoor allergens, thus effectively removing potential health threats indoors.</p>
<p>Xiaomi says the latest Allergy Care certification for the Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact (and the other models in the lineup) is a manifestation of the company’s abounding philosophy. It continues to deploy high-impact technologies to support a better life for its customers. A three-in-one filtration system in the Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact is at the heart of the purification process. It comprises a primary filter, a high-efficiency Xiaomi filter, and a carbon filter.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/08/22/xiaomi-launch-5-smart-home-malaysia-philippines/xiaomi-air-purifier-8/" rel="attachment wp-att-476507"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-476507" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Xiaomi-Air-Purifier.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact " width="750" height="422" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Xiaomi-Air-Purifier.jpg 750w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Xiaomi-Air-Purifier-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Xiaomi-Air-Purifier-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Xiaomi-Air-Purifier-746x420.jpg 746w" sizes="(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px" /></a> The filter is 99.97% efficient, capturing minute dust particles effectively. The gadget provides 24-hour protection and is great for people having respiratory conditions or allergies. It is also capable of effectively absorbing harmful gases and odors in the home. The filter can last up to 12 months and the Xiaomi Home App can be linked to the smart air purifier. This will then provide you with a reminder to change the filter when needed.</p>
<p>The purifier weighs 2.2kg and can be used either on the table or on the floor. Its compact and light design makes it easy to move around the home for fresh air supply. Its PCADR of 20 cubic meters/hour can be deployed in room sizes up to 27 square meters. Its LED display could be turned off and in sleep mode, the purifier delivers a noise level of just 20dB. The device uses a brushless DC motor with a maximum power of 27W with a 0.7kWh electricity supply sufficient for 24 hours of its operation. The air purifier supports Alexa and Google Assistant for operating the smart device. The Xiaomi Home App also allows the user to operate the device even when out of the home. The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact can be purchased via Amazon for €119 ($120).</p>

The display which is said to be the world’s first Eyesafe Certified television display will be on display at  <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/ces">CES 2021</a>. The display will be featured on a 65-inch OLED television that would break cover at CES.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-364050" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1280" height="672" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/lg-eyesafe-display-800x420.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></a></p>
<p>The display panel is said to have been designed to conform to Eyesafe standard for low emissions of blue light and optimal color performance. Indeed, the display received a third-party certification from Germany&#8217;s TUV Rheinland, confirming that it is safe for the eyes. LG Display projects that the new Eyesafe panel will be used on TVs shipping this year 2021.</p>
<p><div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a title="Huawei Mate X2′ launch reported to have been postponed" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/06/huawei-mate-x2-launch-reported-to-have-been-postponed/" rel="bookmark">Huawei Mate X2′ launch reported to have been postponed</a></strong></div></div></p>
<p>LG further stated that the new panel is coming at a time when there are a good number of data from around the globe which shows that the time consumers spend in front of a screen &#8211; televisions, smartphones, laptops, and others,  is on a rapid rise globally. The COVID 19 pandemic and the resultant lockdown was instrumental in the increase.</p>
<p>In the United States, a Nielsen report indicates the average user’s screen-time exceeds 13 hours a day. The Eyesafe Display Standard is the world’s leading set of health-based requirements for the consumer electronics industry. The standard was developed with assistance from over 250 top ophthalmologists, optometrists, and engineers after conducting and analyzing clinical health and safety research on the impact of exposure to high-energy blue light.</p>
<p>LG hasn&#8217;t disclosed how much the display would cost. It is also unclear if the technology deployed on the panel will have any effect on the display performance but we doubt it will. LG is known for its quality and so, the technology will likely be one that won&#8217;t lead to a compromise on the picture quality.</p>

Among this, the Galaxy A02 hit several certifications like Bluetooth SIG, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/28/samsung-galaxy-a02s-certified-by-fcc-and-nbtc/">FCC, NBTC</a>. Now, the device has appeared on TUV Rheinland Certification revealing battery and charging specs.</p>
<p>As reported by <a href="https://rootmygalaxy.net/samsung-galaxy-a02-bags-brazilian-anatel-certification-reveals-5000mah-battery/">Root MyGalaxy</a>(via <a href="https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-a02-budget-phone-powered-by-massive-5000mah-battery/">Sammobile</a>) a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a> smartphone with model number SM-A025M appears on CPQD R&amp;D center of Latin America and has an &#8216;A02&#8217; moniker. This is similar to earlier Bluetooth certifications which showed a model number SM-A025F. All these suggest that the device is indeed <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-a02">Galaxy A02</a>. Next, the listing also shows that the device&#8217;s battery and charger have model numbers HQ-50S and  EP-TA200B.</p>
<p>Further, a device with a similar battery model number is spotted on <a href="https://www.certipedia.com/certificates/03112109?locale=en&amp;page_number=2">TUV Rheinland</a> Certification. It shows that the device has a 5,000mAh battery. Also, an earlier SGS Fimko listing reportedly suggests that EP-TA200B could indicate 15W charging on the A02.  In any case, the battery is about 60% improvement in battery from the predecessor <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a01">Galaxy A01</a> which had only 3,000mAh capacity.</p>

<h4><strong>Galaxy A02 Specifications(Expected)</strong></h4>
<p>Anyway, talking about specs, the Galaxy A02 is likely to feature a 5.7-inch HD+ display. Early reports say that the device could sport <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-450">Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC</a> paired with 2/3GB RAM, and likely have 32/64GB storage. As for the optics, it is likely to sport a 13MP main and a 2MP sensor on the rear, and an 8MP selfie camera.</p>
<p>Early Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications reveal that the device will have Bluetooth 4.2, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/13/samsung-galaxy-a02-galaxy-m02-wi-fi-certified-launch-could-be-nearing/">Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n</a> for connectivity. That said, we can also expect others like 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS for navigation. Also, considering this is likely a budget device don&#8217;t expect it to have the latest <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a> out of the box just yet.</p>
<p>Considering the device&#8217;s model number is already on Latin America&#8217;s Samsung Support <a href="https://www.samsung.com/latin_en/support/model/SM-A025MZKFGTO/">page</a>, we feel that the device isn&#8217;t that far away from launch.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last week, this very same handset received </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/21/mysterious-poco-phone-with-120hz-oled-display-may-launch-this-month/"><span style="font-weight: 400">TKDN and EEC certifications</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> but those did not reveal anything except for the fact that it is a POCO-branded </span><b>4G </b><span style="font-weight: 400">smartphone. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to an FCC </span><a href="http://certid.org/document/4862049"><span style="font-weight: 400">document</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, this upcoming 4G POCO smartphone will run </span><a href="https://gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI-12/"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI 12</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and will come with </span><b>BN57</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> battery and  </span><b>MDY-12-EA</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> 33W </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomi </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">charger. The latter even revealed the capacity of the battery to be </span><b>5,160mAh</b><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Another FCC </span><a href="http://certid.org/document/4862056"><span style="font-weight: 400">document </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">also exposes the rear design of this forthcoming phone. The sketch reveals the device to sport a 64MP camera setup arranged on a rounded rectangle platform located at the centre. Additionally, a textured line will run along the middle of the back panel with a huge POCO branding at the bottom.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As for other specs, according to a deleted tweet by Aguns (via </span><a href="https://twitter.com/yabhishekhd/status/1296385489243521024"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Abhishek Yadav</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">), this phone will sport an </span><b>AMOLED</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> display with </span><b>120Hz refresh rate</b><span style="font-weight: 400">. That said, the chipset powering it is still a mystery and only that can give us an idea if it will be a mid-range device or a flagship killer.</span></p>
<p><figure id="attachment_207419" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-207419" style="width: 927px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-207419 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/XIaomi-Poco-F1-Color-Variants.png?x44794" alt="XIaomi Poco F1 Color Variants" width="927" height="525" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/XIaomi-Poco-F1-Color-Variants.png 927w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/XIaomi-Poco-F1-Color-Variants-300x170.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/XIaomi-Poco-F1-Color-Variants-768x435.png 768w" sizes="(max-width: 927px) 100vw, 927px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-207419" class="wp-caption-text">POCO F1</figcaption></figure></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Though most netizens are claiming it to be POCO X3, there’s a high chance for it to be the long-awaited POCO F2. Why are we saying this? That’s because the design of this handset is original (not a rebranded Redmi device). Since the original POCO F1 is one of the most beloved smartphones in recent years, its successor deserves originality and this mysterious phone delivers it.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Anyway, this is just a speculation from our end. It may even end up us something else as the POCO M2 Pro also has a unique design touch though it is part of Redmi Note 9 family. Maybe, the Redmi variant of this phone will launch later in China. So It could be a rebranded handset too. </span></p>

The Chinese company is expected to launch the OnePlus TV and also a mid-range smartphone, something it had not done in years. The smartphone was earlier tipped to adopt the moniker OnePlus Z but a recent tip points to it being <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/09/oneplus-z-may-debut-as-oneplus-nord-on-july-10/">named OnePlus Nord</a>.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/OnePlus-Z.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-325104" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/OnePlus-Z.png?x44794" alt="oneplus z" width="670" height="403" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/OnePlus-Z.png 670w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/OnePlus-Z-300x180.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px" /></a></p>
<p>Well, the OnePlus Nord (OnePlus Z if you like) has now been certified by Germany&#8217;s TuV Rheinland. The device certified by TUV Rheinland actually bore the name OnePlus AC2003. But if you recall, the same model had <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/02/alleged-oneplus-z-spotted-with-snapdragon-765g-at-geekbench/">earlier appeared on Geekbench</a> database with some of its key specs in tow.</p>
<p>The TUV Rheinland certification page shows the device will pack a 5V/6A super-fast charging support. This means the device may ship with a 30W fast charging adapter. Unfortunately, the page doesn&#8217;t reveal any more detail of the model. However, recertification is also a pointer to the fact that the model will have a display that is devoid of harmful blue light. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/oneplus-nord-tuv-rhineland.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-328333" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/oneplus-nord-tuv-rhineland.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="583" height="364" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/oneplus-nord-tuv-rhineland.jpg 583w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/oneplus-nord-tuv-rhineland-300x187.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 583px) 100vw, 583px" /></a></p>
<p>The earlier <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/02/alleged-oneplus-z-spotted-with-snapdragon-765g-at-geekbench/">GeekBench</a> listing for the OnePlus AC2003 reveals the device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 12GB of RAM. For the interface, the smartphone will ship with Android 10 OS out of the box. The OnePlus Nord 5G is rumoured to pack a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a centrally placed punch hole and support for 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is also rumoured to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/16/oneplus-nord-quad-camera-setup/">feature a quad-camera setup at the rear</a> while it will get its juice from a 4000mAh battery with USB-C port and 30W fast charging support.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-326442" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Realme-TÜV-Rheinland-batttery.png?x44794" alt="Realme TÜV Rheinland battery" width="679" height="423" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Realme-TÜV-Rheinland-batttery.png 679w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Realme-TÜV-Rheinland-batttery-300x187.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Realme-TÜV-Rheinland-batttery-674x420.png 674w" sizes="(max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px" /></p>
<p>We expect the upcoming device will have support for Realme&#8217;s 65W SuperDart fast charging technology when it launches.</p>
<p>There are rumors the Realme X3 Pro will launch alongside the Realme X3 Superzoom in India soon. The Snapdragon 865 processor should be the chipset under the hood along with UFS 3.1 storage. The rest of the specs of the phone are currently unknown but should surface in the weeks leading up to its release.</p>

<h4><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em><strong>Original Story</strong></em></span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomi has been long-rumored to release the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI-12"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI 12</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. A new report from earlier today suggests that it will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/20/miui-12-release-april-end/">announced by the end of April</a>. Amidst this, the official Weibo account of TÜV Rheinland teases a world’s first certification for </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI/"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Quoting this post, Wang Teng, the product director of Redmi further teases the upcoming certification to be for MIUI 12.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">We have come across multiple rumors and leaks of MIUI 12 over the past few weeks. But this teaser is unique as the 10-year-old </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/Xiaomi/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomi </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">mobile software is finally getting its TÜV Rheinland certification. In fact, this is the first time we are hearing about the 148-years-old German safety monitoring firm to certify a mobile operating system.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">TÜV Rheinland is known for certifying displays on certain smartphones for eye comfort. Almost all </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/Huawei"><span style="font-weight: 400">Huawei </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/Honor"><span style="font-weight: 400">Honor </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">smartphones launched in recent times wield this certification. Even Xiaomi joined this bandwagon with the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-8-pro/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Redmi Note 8 Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Now, the company’s MIUI software is expected to get a similar treatment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But it is not sure which version of MIUI will be certified by the German company. </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI-11"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> is now 7 months old and we are already seeing strong evidence of MIUI 12 to be in the development phase with an early release schedule than ever before in recent years. Also, the announcement of  MIUI 12 will mark the 10th anniversary of Xiaomi’s mobile software and even its existence.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-317890 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Redmi-Wang-Teng-MIUI-12-Tease-TUV-Rheinland.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Wang Teng MIUI 12 Tease TUV Rheinland" width="613" height="359" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Redmi-Wang-Teng-MIUI-12-Tease-TUV-Rheinland.png 613w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Redmi-Wang-Teng-MIUI-12-Tease-TUV-Rheinland-300x176.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 613px) 100vw, 613px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Thus, when TÜV Rheinland posted about certification for MIUI, the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/Redmi/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Redmi </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">product director Wang Teng jumped into further hype to make-believe his followers the certification is indeed for MIUI 12. <p><figure id="attachment_284900" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-284900" style="width: 681px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-284900" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material.png?x44794" alt="Meizu 16T marketing material" width="681" height="876" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material.png 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material-233x300.png 233w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material-327x420.png 327w" sizes="(max-width: 681px) 100vw, 681px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-284900" class="wp-caption-text">Meizu 16T marketing material reveals TUV Rheinland certification</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Soon after the event was over, the company <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/23/certification-trouble-tuv-rheinland-gets-back-at-meizu-for-false-advertising/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">landed itself in trouble</a> as TÜV Rheinland AG released a statement saying that the phone wasn’t tested or certified by their organization. For reference purposes, displays certified by TÜV have reduced <b>blue light</b> and are <strong>flicker-free</strong> to protect eyes and preserve the vision of the users and allow them to change body position without compromising visual image quality.</p>
<p>Obviously, such a mistake could lead to bad consumer reception for any newly launched product, therefore, Meizu was quick enough to release a response statement. According to which, Meizu 16T&#8217;s AMOLED display is jointly customized with Samsung who holds the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification (ID: 14190721437).</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/25/xiaomi-mi-cc9es-4gb-ram-128gb-storage-variant-pre-sales-begin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Xiaomi Mi CC9e’s 4GB RAM +128GB storage variant pre-sales begin</a></strong></h6>
<p>Meizu further clarified that the TÜV Rheinland logo was actually meant to highlight just the display certification and not the entire handset which was the root cause of the misunderstanding. The statement also includes an apology to the certification provider and potential consumers of Meizu.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_284804" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-284804" style="width: 581px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-284804" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/CD4ACA76EC046AF4E0D1C30686EA5501.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu 16T" width="581" height="404" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/CD4ACA76EC046AF4E0D1C30686EA5501.jpg 581w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/CD4ACA76EC046AF4E0D1C30686EA5501-300x209.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/CD4ACA76EC046AF4E0D1C30686EA5501-100x70.jpg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-284804" class="wp-caption-text">Meizu 16T</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Following Meizu&#8217;s narrative, TUV Rheinland acknowledged the apology of the Chinese corporation and a senior official replied with the following statement:</p>
<blockquote><p><span class="">I am very pleased to see that Meizu Technology is responsible for this event and appreciates the rigorous and realistic attitude of Meizu Technology in product promotion.</span></p></blockquote>
<p>To wrap things up, the whole matter has now been sorted between two parties and Meizu, without any hurdles, can proceed with the sales of its latest flagship.</p>

At the flagship conference, the company revealed that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meizu-16t">Meizu 16T</a> comes with a TÜV Rheinland&#8217;s low blue light certification.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-featured-1.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-284901" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-featured-1.png?x44794" alt="Meizu 16T featured" width="498" height="478" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-featured-1.png 498w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-featured-1-300x288.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-featured-1-438x420.png 438w" sizes="(max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px" /></a></p>
<p>However, to everyone&#8217;s surprise, right after the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/meizu/">Meizu</a> conference, TÜV Rheinland released a statement saying that the phone wasn&#8217;t tested or certified by their organization. Apart from distancing themselves from Meizu 16T, the company further added that it would take relevant legal measures to deal with this issue.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_284902" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-284902" style="width: 590px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-is-not-TUV-Rheinland-certified.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-284902" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-is-not-TUV-Rheinland-certified.png?x44794" alt="Meizu 16T is not TUV Rheinland certified" width="590" height="325" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-is-not-TUV-Rheinland-certified.png 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-is-not-TUV-Rheinland-certified-300x165.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-284902" class="wp-caption-text">Meizu 16T is not TUV Rheinland certified: Statement</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4>Did Meizu really lie about TÜV Rheinland certification?</h4>
<p>We haven&#8217;t yet heard from Meizu about this certification issue, but it is being said that the Super AMOLED panel used by the 16T is actually TÜV Rheinland certified. Meizu didn&#8217;t send the phone for independent certification to the organization, which is why they claim Meizu isn&#8217;t allowed market the 16T as TÜV Rheinland certified.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_284900" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-284900" style="width: 429px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-284900" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material.png?x44794" alt="Meizu 16T marketing material" width="429" height="552" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material.png 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material-233x300.png 233w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Meizu-16T-marketing-material-327x420.png 327w" sizes="(max-width: 429px) 100vw, 429px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-284900" class="wp-caption-text">Meizu 16T&#8217;s marketing material boasts TUV Rheinland certification</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Whatever the case, we should see some kind of statement from Meizu clarifying the issue very soon. The company may decide to remove <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tuv-rheinland">TÜV Rheinland&#8217;s</a> logo and certification details from its marketing materials. Or else, it could send the phone to the organization and pay the necessary fees for certifying it.</p>

<p>The CE certificate is a requirement for any product that will be sold within the European Economic Area. It certifies that the product is safe and meets health and environmental standards.</p>
<p>The Huawei Mate X is the first 5G phone in the world to receive this certification and it hints at the phone launching in the region in the near future. It also means that Huawei is already working on mass production of the phone.</p>
<p>Huawei&#8217;s Li Xiaolong says the CE certificate is like a passport to enter the European market. However, getting it isn&#8217;t as easy as that required for 4G devices as the process is more stringent.</p>
<p>The Huawei Mate X was unveiled at MWC 2019 last month. It has a flexible AMOLED display panel that folds outward. When unfolded, the screen size is 8-inches with a 2200 x 2480 resolution and when folded it has a 6.6-inch 1148 x 2480 screen on one side and a 6.38-inch 2480 x 892 display on the other side.</p>

<p>The phone is powered by the Kirin 980 paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The 5G chip inside the phone is the Balong 5000. There is dual SIM support though only one SIM slot supports 5G. It also has triple rear cameras co-developed with Leica &#8211; a 40MP wide angle lens, a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The cameras also double as the selfie cameras. Other features include a 4,500mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging, Android 9 pie, NFC, and dual-frequency GPS.</p>
