Poco X3 NFC Specifications

Unlike Poco X2, the Poco X3 NFC features a single punch hole camera cutout in the display for a better viewing experience. Unlocking Poco X3 NFC will allow the user to root the device and install custom MODs and ROMs without any issue. It is advised to follow each step and download the required pre-requisites from the links below.

Pre-Requisites

• Download and Install ADB and Fastboot drivers on PC/MAC.
• Download Xiaomi USB Drivers.
• Download Xiaomi Mi Unlock Tool
• Ensure the phone’s battery is more than 60%
• Backup important data on any external media
• Download the latest TWRP from here.
• Download the latest Magisk manager and install it on your phone.

Steps to install TWRP on Xiaomi Mi A3

Follow the below-mentioned instructions carefully to successfully install TWRP. Before proceeding, please ensure your Xiaomi Mi A3 bootloader is unlocked.

1. Enable Developer Mode by tapping the MIUI version 7 times after heading to the Settings > About Phone.
2. Enable USB Debugging by heading to the Settings>Developer Option and toggle USB Debugging.
3. Bind your Mi Account which means sign in to the Poco device using your Mi account by heading to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options > Add account and device and log in.
4. Connect your smartphone with the PC via USB Cable.
5. Now boot into the Fastboot mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power Button for about 10 seconds. You need to release buttons once the Fasstboot appears on the screen.
6. Download and Extract Mi Unlock Tool from the Pre-Requisite section above.
7. Open the Miflash_unlock.exe file from the extracted folder.
8. Now, Login with the same Mi Account that you used on the Poco X3 NFC.
9. It will take some time to verify your smartphone, and will show “Phone Connected.“
10. Now, tap on the “Unlock button” and select “Unlock anyway” when prompted.
11. The unlocking process will start, and you will receive “Unlocked successfully” once completed.
12. Now, Reboot the device, and that’s it!

Root Poco X3 NFC (TWRP)

Make sure you’ve unlocked the bootloader in order to root your Poco X3 NFC.

Pre-Requisites

• Download TWRP Recovery for Poco X3 NFC
• Download Magisk Manager Installer Zip on your phone.

Steps

1. Download and Extract ADB and Fastboot utilities in a folder.
2. Now, Connect your Poco X3 NFC with PC using a USB cable. (Note: If prompted to “Allow USB Debugging” comes then tap OK on your phone.)
3. Open Command Prompt or Powershell by pressing SHIFT + RIGHT-Click in ADB and Fastboot folder.
4. Type the below command to restart the phone.

   adb reboot bootloader

5. Now Flash the TWRP on the recovery partition using the below-mentioned command. (Note: Make sure to replace the twrp-3.4-xx.img name with actual twrp filename.)

   fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.4.x-xx.img

6. That’s it! You have successfully Installed TWRP. Now, we need to install Magisk to gain root access.
7. Reboot into TWRP Recovery by executing the following command. (Or you can press and hold the Power button + Volume Up button to boot into recovery mode.)

   adb reboot recovery

8. Once in TWRP, then select Install>Select Magisk.zip>Swipe to Confirm Flash.
9. Reboot System after installation completes, and enjoy!

TWRP, which stands for Team Win Recovery Project is the most commonly used custom recovery on Android devices. It is essential to flash aftermarket Android builds (custom ROMs) as the built-in stock recoveries on the phones/tablets do not allow it. OnePlus devices have been developer-friendly since the very first model – the original OnePlus One. It has been almost six years since its release but still, it is being supported by enthusiastic developers. Thanks to this, the six-year-old phone can boot Android 10 even after the company officially dropped support a long time back. 

Over the past few years, there hasn’t been any significant development with regard to multi-boot on Android. But now, XDA recognized developer Zackptg5 has come up with a modified TWRP for the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, which enables true multibooting (never seen before) on them exploiting the A/B partition. 

By using this recovery, interested users can now dual-boot two separate ROMs on the above-mentioned OnePlus devices by using the two separate userdata partition (A/B) for each ROM. Furthermore, the modded TWRP also lets users try A/B/C partition, where the ‘C’ data partition accommodates common data for the two different ROMs.

It is worth noting that repartitioning the stock partition layout is not advisable for everyone. Since getting back to the stock partition is always a risky job, you must know how to unbrick your device before proceeding with this dual-boot hack.

4. Connect your device with PC via a USB cable.
5. Now, turn off your device and execute the following command to reboot into the bootloader mode. (Note: Press OK if a popup to “Allow USB debugging” comes.)

   adb reboot bootloader

6. Now to flash the TWRP, make sure to execute the following command after renaming the recovery file to twrp.img.

   fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

7. Now, reboot your device upon typing the below command. (Note: Sometimes, the stock ROM replaces the TWRP. IN order to prevent that, hold the Volume UP + Power Key after typing the below command.)

   fastboot reboot

8. You can normally reboot the device from TWRP and enjoy the TWRP recovery.

Root Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

Rooting is the initial step before installing any other custom MOD on the device. We have listed below the steps and the requirements that you need to download.

Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip and Save it in your mobile.

Steps to install Magisk on Redmi Note 8 Pro

• Download and save twrp-3.2.3-violet.img it to the Extracted folder of ADB – Fastboot drivers.
• Unlocked Bootloader of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Steps to install TWRP on Redmi Note 7 Pro

1. If Redmi Note 7’s Bootloader is unlocked, then you’re good to go with the next steps.
2. Enable the Debugging Mode, and OEM unlock on your device. Both the options can be found in the Developer Options.
3. Now, connect your device with PC via USB cable.
4. Extract ADB and Fastboot drivers in a folder on the PC. Then, Open the cmd or PowerShell by pressing Shift key + Right-Clicking in the same folder.
   
5. Once all the setup is complete, type the following command to reboot the Redmi Note 7 Pro into the fastboot mode (Note: Accept a pop-up asking for the USB debugging permission on your smartphone).

   adb reboot bootloader

6. After booting into the fastboot mode, type the below-mentioned command to flash the TWRP image you download. (Note: Place the twrp-3.2.3-violet.img file in the ADB and Fastboot extracted the folder.)

   fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-violet.img

7. After the successful flashing, reboot the device using the following command:

   fastboot reboot

8. Enjoy!

Make Sure to download the Magisk zip and Disable Encryption patch and move them to the phone’s storage.

• • Download Magisk.Zip and Disable Force Encryption Treble and move them to the Phone storage.

1. After rebooting, connect your device with the PC to get root access.
2. Type the ADB command to boot into the TWRP recovery successfully:

   adb reboot recovery

3. The device will automatically boot into TWRP, now take a NANDroid backup if you need data.
4. Now, Select “Install” from the TWRP and browse for the Magisk.zip file. Tap on it to select it.
5. Now, “Swipe to confirm flash” action.
6. Upon successful installation, select “Install” once again and locate “no-verity-force-encrypt.zip” file. Tap it to select it.
7. Again “Swipe to confirm flash” action.
8. Reboot System from TWRP Recovery.
9. Upon rebooting, a Magisk Manager application will be present from where you can control the access of each app.
10. You can also install the Root Checker app to verify root access.

Steps to install TWRP on OnePlus 7 Pro

1. Enable USB Debugging and connect your device with Computer.
2. Open Command prompt or PowerShell by going to the extracted ADB Folder in your PC/Laptop.
   
3. Now connect your Mobile with the Computer via USB.
4. Copy TWRP zip and Magisk Manager apk file into phone’s internal storage.
5. Reboot your device into bootloader by typing the command in CMD:

   adb reboot bootloader

6. Check the slot which is active by typing the command below:

   fastboot getvar current-slot

7. Select the non-active slot and change slot-name with actual slot name (delete inverted commas also).

   fastboot --set-active="slot name"

8. Now flash the TWRP on your device by replacing the recovery-name.

   fastboot flash recovery recovery-name.img

9. Now reboot the device from TWRP Recovery, and select the previously active slot by:

Poco F1 is one of the best budget flagships Xiaomi has ever made. It comes with all the features that you want in a high-end smartphone sans some negligible shortcomings. If you own a Poco F1 and to unlock the full potential of the phone, you might want to root it. Thus, here in this article, we will guide you step by step on how to root Poco F1.

Last year, out of the blue, Xiaomi formed a sub-brand named Poco focussing on budget flagship smartphones. The first phone which is Poco F1 or Pocophone F1 became popular in a short period and for a good reason. 8. Now, wait for the flashing process to complete. Once done, reboot the device by executing the following command:

   fastboot reboot

9. While the phone is booting, press and holds power + volume up to reboot into TWRP Recovery. (Note: This step is performed to disable force encryption before booting the device.
10. Once in the TWRP, disable the encryption by flashing the Disable Force Encryption zip.
11. Now reboot the phone and enjoy!

You have successfully installed the TWRP on Xiaomi Mi 9. Now, to attain the root priveleges we need to flash SuperSu zip via TWRP recovery.

Steps to root Xiaomi Mi 9 using SuperSu

It is always a cumbersome process to root any Android device. We have to install third-party recovery to run SuperSu or Magisk to get root privileges. Follow the steps below to root the Xiaomi Mi 9:

1. Download the SuperSu zip and no verity encrypt zip from the Pre-Requisites section above and copy them to the Phone’s internal storage.

11. Once done, Tap Install and select the ‘twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip‘ from internal storage.
12. Swipe the button to install TWRP on your OnePlus 6.

Xiaomi’s Poco F1 (aka Pocophone F1) has been a prime target for modder because of its high value-for-money deal. This is evident with the number of custom ROMs available for the smartphone.

While the unofficial TWRP build for the Poco F1 were available for quite some time now, the smartphone has now finally got the official TWRP support. It can be downloaded from the official TWRP website and you can find it by going through the source link.

The developer has warned that the “build of TWRP will (probably) only work with devices using Full Disk Encryption (FDE)” and may not work with devices that have been converted to File-Based Encryption (FBE). The U.S. versions with Snapdragon 845 are not supported yet. The custom recovery is identified with the codename starlte for the Galaxy S9 and star2lte for the S9 Plus. To flash TWRP you need to unlock the bootloader of your device. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have just hit the shelves all around the world. They offer an Infinity Display with a QHD+ resolution and a size of 5.8 and 6.2 inches, respectively. Among the most important features, there are cameras with a variable aperture which makes them adapt better to every light condition. While the Samsung Galaxy S9 comes with a single camera, the Plus variant has a dual camera on the rear side and even a higher quantity of RAM (6 GB).
