Its full view display allows it to achieve a 91.5% screen ratio. In terms of performance, you will get an Helio P23 SoC with a 4GB LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage.

The video, not to much surprise, highlights two USP of the UMIDIGI One Max – the massive 4150mAh battery, and 128GB massive storage with LPDDR4X RAM. The 4150mAh battery coupled with the power-efficient Helio P23 SoC should give you 2-3 day normal usage endurance. Also, the One Max support both 18W fast charging and 15W wireless charging, so even if you end up battery-low it’d take only few hours to rejuvenate the battery. The teardown video hasn’t forgotten to flaunt the NFC chip, which is a rarity in most of the budget devices currently in the market.

UMIDIGI has finally taken the wraps off the much-anticipated UMIDIGI One Max. The One Max is an incremental upgrade of the UMIDIGI One Pro which was launched around July this year alongside the UMIDIGI One. The pricing is consistent with UMIDIGI’s affordability rating as it is scheduled to go on presale for $179.99 from December 10.

Specs wise, the UMIDIGI One Max features a 6.3-inch 19:9 waterdrop full-screen display, driven by advanced in-cell technology. The use of water drop notch design enables the display to be expanded to achieve a 91.5% screen ratio which is pretty impressive. Apart from the high screen ratio, the One Max also goes maximum in the battery aspect as it packs a 4150mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, 15W wireless charging.

The UMIDIGI One Max is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, which should bring a smooth gaming experience for heavy users. The device also packs a massive 128GB internal storage.

On the camera end, the One Max packs a dual camera setup at the rear which is a 12MP+5MP combo. The main sensor is an OV12870 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a large 1/2.8″ optical format. The second camera is capable of capturing Bokeh photos. On the other hand, the front camera is a 16MP high-resolution selfie camera. Furthermore, the One Max features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on top of the power button. The device also comes with a dual speaker system and NFC. A new leaked video from Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI has revealed an upcoming model dubbed UMIDIGI One Max which packs a waterdrop notch display like the OnePlus 6T and Huawei Mate 20.

The leaked video gives us a glimpse of the engineering sample of the UMIDIGI One Max with the water-drop, or in other words an extremely tiny notch. Even though the video is just a couple of seconds long you can get some idea about the looks and design of the device. It’s obvious that just like One Plus 6T, UMIDIGI One Max will have a high screen-to-body ratio full screen.

Chinese smartphone maker UMIDIGI is presently going ballistic with its product launch this year. Just recently, we saw the company unveil the entry-level premium model UMIDIGI A3 and UMIDIGI A3 Pro. The company even launched the Uwatch smartwatch just days ago. A couple of months back, the UMIDIGI One and One Pro were unveiled under the UMIDIGI One flagship series. Seems the company is planning to expand the series as a new smartphone model dubbed UMIDIGI One Max has leaked out in a poster showing the render and specifications.

As the name implies and just as rendered on the poster, the UMIDIGI One Max comes with a wide display. The details include a 6.3-inch waterdrop display but the resolution is unknown at this moment. The device is also listed to pack a massive 128GB of storage, perhaps on one of the variants. In addition, it would be fired up by a dependable and mammoth 4,150mAh battery.

Let’s take a closer look at the design briefly. At the front, what stands out is the water drop notch design which gives the device a high screen to body ratio. The notch houses just the selfie camera. The bezels at the two edges are ultra thin while the chin and top edge bezels are trimmed to their barest minimum. At the rear, the device packs dual cameras that are arranged vertically at the top left corner while there is an LED flash at the bottom. The rear is similar to the Twilight gradient colour of the Huawei P20 Pro. So, we may likely see the Twilight hue on the device which means the back panel is made of glass. This design is also featured on the UMIDIGI One.
