HMD Global has announced the Nokia T20 tablet in China. In December 2021, the company unveiled the Nokia T20 Education Edition tablet. The T20 that has gone official today in China is not different from its Education Edition in terms of its design and specifications. However, the Education Edition is mainly designed for students and gives access to learning content. Here is all the information on the regular Nokia T20 that has arrived in China.

Micromax In 2c smartphone has been announced in India. It is the second smartphone to debut this year after the Micromax In Note 2, which was announced in January this year. Recent reports have revealed that Micromax is working on a new smartphone called the Micromax In 2c. The device is expected to replace the Micromax In 2b from last year. Today, the company confirmed that it will be announcing the smartphone on April 26. Ahead of the launch, its landing page has gone live on Flipkart.

The landing page has revealed the design and key features of the Micromax In 2c. The device will sport a waterdrop notch display of 6.52 inches. The official images show that the device has a thick chin and a dual-camera setup on the back.

Micromax announced the Micromax In Note 2 as its first smartphone of the year 2022. Fresh information suggests that the Micromax In 2c could be the company’s next handset. The moniker has appeared has now surfaced in the database of the Google Play supported devices list, which indicates that it may go official soon.

As can be seen in the screenshot shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Micromax In 2C has surfaced with model number E6533 in Google Play supported devices list. This model number has been previously spotted at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Geekbench benchmarking site.

The Micromax In 2C’s Geekbench listing had surfaced back in June 2021. It revealed key specifications such as a Unisoc T610 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the handset scored 347 and 1127 points, respectively. As the name suggests, the In 2c will be replacing the Micromax In 2b smartphone from last year.

Unfortunately, there is no information on the specifications of the Micromax In 2c specifications. Probably, the company may unveil the device in March. The device is likely to debut with a sub-Rs 10,000 (~$133) pricing in the country. Hopefully, newer reports will reveal more details about the In 2c in the coming days.

The Micromax In Note 2 introduced last month features a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass protection, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 48-megapixel (main) + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro)+ 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera unit. Realme C21Y launch date for India confirmed

Realme C21Y entry-level smartphone was announced in Vietnam last month. Today, the Indian wing of the brand confirmed that it will be announcing the C21Y at 12:30 PM on Aug. 23 in India. The entire specs of the smartphone have been revealed through its microsite that has gone live on Realme India.

The Realme C21Y has a 6.5-inch HD+ display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and an 85 percent screen-to-bod ratio. The device is powered by the Unisoc T610 chipset.

It is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery that carries support for reverse charging. With 5 percent battery power, it can offer 2.33 days of standby time, 2.37 hours of calling, and1.45 hours video playback on YouTube.

Realme C21Y

The rear side of the phone features a fingerprint scanner and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. It offers photography features like super nightscape, Chroma Boost, slow-motion video recording, and 1080p video recording. The landing page further reveals it will arrive in Cross Blue and Cross Black colors.

The Realme C21Y is expected to offer other features such as a 5-megapixel front camera, 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and Realme UI-based Android 11 OS. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the Realme C21Y. Probably, it will arrive with a sub-Rs 10,000 pricing in the Indian market.

Unisoc partners with Realme, Motorola, and Micromax in India

Last month, Micromax launched the IN 2B entry-level smartphone with Unisoc’s T610 chipset offering decent specs in budget. It is the first smartphone to launch with this chipset in India, but now Unisoc’s Executive Vice President has revealed(to Gizbot) that more phones with T610 technology will enter India.

Eric Zhou, Executive Vice President of Unisoc, said that Unisoc has already collaborated with several Indian and Chinese smartphone manufacturers, which are expected to launch new phones in the coming months.

In particular, Unisoc collaborated with Realme, Micromax and Motorola to bring the Unisoc T610 mobile phones to India. Among these brands, Micromax has already released the In 2B smartphone with T610. We expect Realme and Motorola to launch T610 powered phones in India soon.

Besides, Unisoc has also partnered with Honor, Hisense, and Telcast in the global market. The Chinese chip-making company has reportedly covered 128 countries around the world and is currently planning to expand its product portfolio in India with Indian mobile phone makers.

Micromax will be announcing the Micromax In 2b smartphone on July 30 in India. It will be the fourth In-series phone from the brand after the Micromax In Note 1, In 1b, and In 1. Ahead of the launch, the company has released a teaser video to reveal its design and color variants.

As can be seen in the teaser video, the upcoming In 2b will be available in three colors such as black, green, and blue. The rear shell of the device has a rectangle-shaped camera module that houses two cameras and an LED flash. A fingerprint scanner and a speaker grille are also available on the backside of the device. Its right edge has volume buttons and a power key.

The landing page of the Micromax In 2b is now available on Micromax India’s website. The listing reveals that it will be sporting a teardrop notch display. The page states that the device is powered by a gaming-focused chipset that includes a G52 GPU. It further states that the device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that offers 160 hours of music playback, 50 hours of talk time, 20 hours of web browsing, and 15 hours of video streaming on a single charge.

The Geekbench listing of the device that was spotted last week revealed that it is powered by the Unisoc T610 chip. It features a 1.8GHz octa-core processor that tags along with ARM Mali-G52 graphics. This smartphone will be replacing the last year’s In 1b phone that was powered by the Helio G35 chip. The Geekbench listing had further revealed it has 4 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS.

Micromax schedules July 30 launch event, In 2b expected

Micromax has confirmed that it will be announcing a new smartphone at 12 PM (local time) on July 30 in India. The company is yet to share any information about its next handset. The recent tweets by Micromax carry the #AbIndiaChaleNonStop hashtag, which indicates that its next smartphone will come equipped with a big battery.

Micromax re-entered the Indian smartphone market in November 2020 by announcing new IN series smartphones such as In Note 1 and In 1b. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the In 1 phone, which was slotted between the Note 1 and 1b.

A recent report by The Mobile Indian claimed that the company will be unleashing the Micromax In 2B by the end of this month. The moniker of the device suggests that it could be arriving as the successor to last year’s IN 1b. The report also claims that the rumored In 2C will not be announced this month. The Micromax In 2b and In 2c were spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site last month. Surprisingly, both models were found to be equipped with Unisoc T610 chip, 4 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. It remains to be seen what differing specs and features will be available on the In 2b and In 2c smartphones.

The In 1B was introduced with a starting price of Rs 6,999 (~$94). Probably, the In 2b may arrive with similar pricing. Since the company has already released the first teasers of its upcoming smartphone, it is expected to reveal more information on it daily before the launch event.

Recently, a Realme phone with model number RMX3261 was recently certified by the FCC, NBTC, and TUV authorities. The FCC listing revealed its design and a few specs, while the NBTC certification confirmed that it will debut with the Realme C21Y moniker. According to reliable tipster Chun, this phone will be heading to Vietnam soon as the company’s Android Go handset.

Honor has silently announced a new smartphone called the Honor Play 20 in China. The design of the smartphone suggests that it could be the KOZ-AL00 4G LTE phone, which was recently certified by the TENAA authority of China. The low-budget phone has arrived with a starting price of 899 Yuan (~$138) in the home market.
