Now the same source has revealed the specifications of the device.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-413688" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021" width="1024" height="768" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A8-2021-560x420.jpg 560w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>The Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) will have a 10.5-inch TFT WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display according to OnLeaks who has partnered with <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-tab-a8-2021-specifications-exclusive/"><em>91Mobiles</em></a> once again for this leak. We are surprised <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a> isn&#8217;t using the same 10.4-inch screen that shipped with the Galaxy Tab A7 2020.</p>
<p>Earlier reports have said the tablet will be powered by a <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Snapdragon</a> processor like its predecessor but this new leak says otherwise. The Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) will be powered by Unisoc&#8217;s Tiger T618 chipset, the same one that is inside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/09/12/htc-a100-tablet-launched-in-russia-with-a-unisoc-chip-4g-and-dual-rear-cameras-for-under-300/">HTC A100 tablet</a> that launched in Russia a few weeks ago.</p>
<p>Samsung will offer the tablet in different configurations depending on the market. Some will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while others will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While not stated, the tablet should have a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.</p>
<p>The source says the tablet will have a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP camera on the rear. The battery capacity is 7040mAh, unchanged from the Galaxy Tab A7 2020. Last year&#8217;s model has support for 15W charging and that will likely be carried over to the Galaxy Tab A8 2021. There is also a mention of a fingerprint scanner on the side which seems unlikely for a budget tablet.</p>
<p>When it launches, the tablet will be available in gold, silver, and gray. It is also expected to launch in WiFi-only and LTE variants.</p>

<p>The HTC A100 has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The screen is housed in an aluminum chassis with rounded corners. There are bezels around the display, and while they are not humongous, they are not the slimmest. However, they do have the same thickness on all sides.</p>
<p>For its first tablet in years, HTC has gone with the UNISOC Tiger T618, the same chipset we have seen in phones such as ZTE&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-axon-20-4g/">Axon 20 4G</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-blade-v30/">Blade V30</a> smartphones and the Alldocube iPlay 40 tablet. The 12nm processor has an 8-core CPU made up of two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It also has a Mali G52 MP2 GPU.</p>
<p>The processor is paired with 8GB DDR3 RAM and 128GB of storage. There is a MicroSD card slot that allows the user to add up to an extra 256GB of storage. The tablet also has support for dual SIMs via its hybrid SIM slot.</p>

The smartphone emerged as the world’s first under-display camera phone but the 5G connectivity onboard obviously stands out better than the selfie camera that was everything but impressive.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355028" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g.jpg?x10805" alt="ZTE Axon 20" width="1200" height="517" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-300x129.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-768x331.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-1024x441.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-696x300.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-1068x460.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/zte-axon-20-5g-975x420.jpg 975w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></p>
<p>ZTE has got a trimmed down 4G version of the Axon 20 in the works. Available details show the device will bepowered by a UNISOC Tiger T618 chipset. The Tiger T618 SoC is an  octa-core CPU that is equipped with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with the same clock speed.</p>
<p>Although the entire specifications of the Axon 20 4G is unknown at this moment, the phone is expected to retain the under display selfie camera of its high-end version. The design and camera configuration are also retained from the 5G version.</p>

<p>As a reminder, the Axon 20 packs a 6.92-inch OLED screen that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports 10-bit color depth. The display has an FHD+ resolution of 2460×1080 pixels. The back houses a Quad camera setup stacked at the upper left corner. The sensors include a 64MP Ultra-high pixel main camera. There is also an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth of field lens, and a 2MP macro lens.</p>
