Today, industry analyst, Bo Jiutang, revealed that at the end of the year or early next year, Xiaomi will release two new devices, both of which are headed for the high-end market and may cost more than 1999 RMB (326.62 USD).

According to the supplier, Xiaomi’s two new devices will be “bigger and better looking” than the iPhone 6. We can only guess that these phones will have 5.5-inch display screens and the specifications must be really good. We will just have to wait and see.

After the success of  Mogu M7, Mogu recently announced that they would release the next cellphone in their M series which they brand as the “Folks’ Phones.” They named the phone as Mogu M8 and it will have a more stunning design and stronger specifications.

According to Mogu, the M8 will be powered with a 2GHz Octa-core cpu from MTK,  which is clearly the MTK6592T. It will sport a 5.5-inch screen and 13mp Sony camera and have 2G RAM and 16G ROM. This phone will have a fingerprint sensor that people can use to unlock their phones. As for its appearance, it has a more upright design. It has red buttons. Its base is grainy.

Well the resolution of the screen hasn’t been released yet, is Mogu hiding something?

Today, OPPO announced in their official Weibo account that the new OPPO N3 flagship phone will use a metal frame. Specifically, they said that it will use a “new type of aerial-level metal.”

OPPO also said that this metal will not only protect the phone but also cut down its weight. It has been understood that the OPPO N3 will come out in October. According to the pattern followed by the N series, this should have a revolving camera.

When the OONE O1 first came out, it was one of the most expensive cellphones in China, costing 5160 RMB (841.50 USD).

Now, OONE will release a new version called the “OONE Youth Edition.”

Recently, OONE released a promotional poster for the OONE Youth Edition which looks similar to the O1. The design of the receiver in the front as well as thefront camera, and menu button is similar to the O1’s design. The Youth Edition may still retain the original’s 5-inch screen. If no changes are made in the side, it may still weigh 99g and have a thickness of 5.5mm.

“Youth editions” of phones are watered-down versions of the original aimed at students. As such, it has weaker specs. The original O1 sports a 5-inch 720p screen covered by Gorilla 3 glass, and has 2G RAM and 16G ROM. It also sports a 8mp camera and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. Its processor is the MT6592H and supports dual-3G networks. For the youth edition, OONE may upgrade it to 4G and will probably still use an MTK processor.

No price has been announced for the OONE Youth Edition but it is set to come out on September 15.

Lenovo’s new high-end phone, the Vibe X2, sports a very trendy design with an excellent four-colored mid-frame.

According to Lenovo, the phone’s mid-frame is composed with gold, yellow, orange, and black (just like the screen). However, Weibo user @老潘PLF leaked a photo where the gold panel looks more like white (it could because of the LED light).

The Vibe X2 sports a nice metal body. According to previous reports, one version (X2-CU) will use the MT6595M octa-core chipset (2.0 GHz A17 + 1.5GHz A7), while another (X2-TO) will use a 2.2GHz dual-core chipset (probably from Intel). Other than their processors, both phones will have the same specs. They will sport a 5-inch 1080p IPS screen, have 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory space, and a 5mp/13mp dual-camera. It will powered by a 2250mAh battery and its OS is the Android 4.4.2.

A few days ago, an entry for a new smartphone called the “Motorola Shamu” appeared on the website, GFXBench. It is important to note that “Nexus 6” is put in parenthesis next to it. Since its benchmark test results are close to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8, it should be a powerful phone.

Earlier, it was reported that the Nexus 6 was being developed by Motorola as a subcontractor and this confirms it.

The Nexus 6 is said to sport a 5.9-inch screen and will have a fingerprint recognition feature. Other than that, not a lot of information has been revealed but based on its benchmark results, expect this phone to be sold as a flagship device.

Early this month, a photo of what appears to be the Coolpad Daguan 5 was leaked online. It was also reported that the Daguan 5 would have a revolving camera although Coolpad later denied this.

Now, we received a rendering of the Daguan 5 which looks very similar to the leaked photo but this time, there is no news about the camera. Most of the new information concerns the Daguan 5’s design and specs.

As the rendering shows, the Daguan 5 has a slimmer but hearty design than the Daguan 4. It has a very narrow frame. Previous reports have stated that it may sport a frameless design.

It was also reported that the Daguan 5’s case would be made of Kevlar, but looking at the phone’s frame in the rendering and according to an insider, it follows a cobwebbed design. This phone is available in black, white, blue and gold.　

According to reports, the Daguan 5 uses the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core chipset and sports a 5.5-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution. Expect more news about the Daguan 5’s specs.

Recently, Zopo has been carrying out an advertising campaign for a new cell phone called, the “Zopo Xiaomo X.” The “Zoppo Xiaomo 3” is actually a better term. The name “Xiaomo III” has already appeared at Zopo’s Weibo account. Since it has been almost a year since the Xiaomo 2 first came out, the Xiaomo 3 should come out this year. Although a Xiaomo 2 and 2X will come out, there won’t be a lot of changes. Therefore, the “Xiamo X” is most definitely the “Xiaomo 3.”

Zopo seems to be keeping a tight lid over the Xiaomo 3’s specs. They did confirm that it would be a flagship phone and that basic components may be included such as 4G internet. Considering Zopo’s other products, it will likely use a processor from MTK.

An insider also leaked some other information about the Xiaomo 3. For example, although it may use a 2K screen, it might not have Quad HD resolution.

With the release date of the Coolpad Dashen F2 revealed a while ago, it was only a matter of time until the price was announced. According to Boshuma, like the F1, the Dashen F2 will cost 888 RMB. It had been announced that the launch for the F2 will take place on August 26 and that users may start pre-ordering the next day. Those who do may get them on September 2.

Coolpad has expressed great confidence on the F2 with the following written on the invitation. “Say no to mediocrity!” It certainly has a better-looking design than the F1. It has a round case, slim body, and a narrow frame. It also sports a round HOME button and comes in many colors.

Regarding the F2’s specs, many speculate that it will use the MT6592 and MT6290, support TD-LTE and dual-SIM, have 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, and a 5.5-inch HD screen. Many also believe that it will sport a 5mp/13mp camera which is not bad.

Its processor is the MTK6582 quad-core processor and it has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. It also sports an 8mp camera and is powered by a 2500mAh battery. It supports WCDMA/GSM internet. Many would also be surprised at how slim the DG580 is (5.5mm).
