Now, a new report reveals that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available for purchase in the United States through T-Mobile. However, it won’t be an exclusive release and is likely to be sold by other carriers and retails, as well as Samsung itself.

The tweet from Max Weinbach reveals that the smartphone will have four color options in the United States — Gray, Light Green, Light Violet, and White. He adds that T-Mobile will be selling all four of them.

Earlier, the production of Galaxy S21 FE was impacted because of the ongoing global chip shortage. However, it was recently reported that the production is back on track but still, there’s a possibility that the South Korean giant has moved back the release date for this smartphone and focus on its new foldable devices this month.

So far, rumors indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ screen resolution. It will be a 120Hz high refresh rate flat-screen panel with a higher-touch sampling rate.

It is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel secondary unit, and an 8-megapixel sensor. Upfront, the device will boast a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Under the hood, the smartphone is touted to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 4,370mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.

But it seems that the launch of the company’s next flagship under the Mi MIX series isn’t far away. Also, the company could be planning something big given that it has setup a new Weibo account under the name “MIX Weibo”. The company already has “Xiaomi MIX” Weibo account but it hasn’t been updated in a long time.

Reports indicate that Xiaomi could be gearing up to launch the Mi MIX 4 series smartphones which could include Mi MIX 4 and Mi MIX 4 Pro. The device could come with a 120Hz refresh rate display with 2K screen resolution. It could come with pretty thin bezels around the display and have under-display camera sensor.

While the exact launch date is not yet known, some reports suggest that the Mi MIX 4 series will be launched after the stable rollout of MIUI 12 beings. As the update rollout is scheduled to take place from June this year, the launch will be after that only.

The device is codenamed ‘Blackjack’ and may launch in the near future.

The new Motorola smartphone that surfaced in the FCC certification bears the model name XT2055-2. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the handset are still at large. However, it is expected that the device will be a mid range smartphone and will be powered by a large battery, which might be around 5,000mAh. It may be a smartphone based around delivering a better battery over raw performance and does not feature dual band Wi-Fi, another hint of its mid segment status.

According to the FCC database, the smartphone measure 175mm diagonally which should translate to about a 6.6 inch display. So, it might just be a ‘Pro’ or ‘Max’ variant of a mid range handset that will be announced in 2020. It is reported that other variants of Motorola ‘Blackjack’ has been spotted also been spotted, which implies that the series will see a global launch and will be available in multiple different regions.

It is also not likely to be a part of the existing Motorola G8 series since it bears the model name XT2041. Furthermore, the smartphone manufacturer seems to have a bunch of other smartphones in the making as well, with filings spread across FCC, EEC and WFA certifications.

Now, new details have surfaced online, revealing the phone’s display information and design.

According to the latest report, a new set of drawings have surfaced online, which suggests that the smartphone will come with a display that can go transparent, getting rid of all the notches and moving parts on the device.

The patent design further suggests that the Essential Phone PH-2 will have at least one camera sensor and one light sensor placed under the display. The report suggests that device will come with an OLED panel and become semitransparent on command when selfie camera is opened.

There’s also a second set of drawings which reveals that the handset will have an under-display fingerprint sensor, something which most of the flagship smartphones are now offering. It’s noteworthy that the name PH-2 was earlier spotted in a document of a US smartphone carrier but no other details related to the device are known at this time.

We are also expecting the smartphone to come with a near stock version of the latest Android operating system, which in this case could be the Android 9 Pie. We also expect the phone to come powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

Recently, it was reported that the company is working on a second device, which the company labeled as a “mobile product”. However, this second device might possibly be the leaked tiny phone that employs AI (artificial intelligence) to answer text messages and e-mails.

Currently, there is no word regarding the launch timeline of the smartphone. However, it’s highly unlikely that the patented device is the same device that was recently reported to have an AI-powered system to answer messages.

Essential launched its first phone, the PH-1 more than a year ago, which didn’t do well due to a number of issues. Earlier reports indicated that the company canceled plans of a successor and even suspended some other hardware devices it had in development. However, it seems that the situation has changed and the company has now kicked-off development.
