OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 16.0.5.700 update for the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus 13s in India. The update is currently being released in batches as an incremental OTA. A small number of users are receiving it first, with a wider rollout expected in the coming days.

For the OnePlus 15, the update carries the firmware version CPH2745_16.0.5.700(EX01) in the Indian region. The OnePlus 13s update arrives with the version CPH2723_16.0.5.700(EX01).

The update introduces several improvements aimed at productivity and usability. Both devices now support multiple simultaneous timers, allowing users to run several timers at once for better multitasking. The timer interface has also been updated to show estimated stop times, making it easier to track when each timer will finish.

The Content Portal has also been updated and now supports app clones, enabling easier content sharing between apps or accounts.

Connectivity features have also been refined. A new “Automatically open received files” option has been added. This switch lets users choose whether files received through sharing services should open automatically after being downloaded.

The OnePlus 13s receives an additional accessibility feature called Motion cues. This option helps reduce motion sickness when using the phone in moving vehicles. It can be enabled by navigating to Settings → Accessibility & convenience → Motion cues.

Both devices also receive the March 2026 Android security patch, which improves overall system security and stability.

Since the update is being rolled out gradually, some users may need to wait a few days before receiving the notification.

Nothing has released a new software update for the Nothing Phone (3) with build number Nothing OS B4.0-260206-1135. The update introduces new Glyph features, improves system stability, and fixes several bugs across camera, audio, and connectivity.

A key addition is support for showing caller information and charging progress on the Glyph Matrix by shaking the phone. Users can enable this by going to Settings > Glyph Interface > Flip to Glyph and turning on the required toggles. Nothing has also added an Essential Notifications entry in Settings for easier access. It is available under Settings > Notifications > Essential Notifications.

The Essential Apps section has also been updated. The widget library now includes a recommendation section that gives faster access to Nothing Playground, where users can discover AI-powered community creations.

OnePlus has started rolling out the February 2026 OxygenOS B40P02 update to its smartphones and tablets. The rollout began on February 5, 2026, and will continue in stages, with all eligible devices expected to receive it by around March 5. As usual, the update is incremental, so not all users will get the notification at the same time.

The update carries version number B40P02 (BRB1EX01) for phones and B40P02 (BRB3EX01) for tablets. It brings improvements to the Photos app, AI Writer, Private Safe, and overall system stability.

The Photos app gets multiple upgrades. Gesture animations when swiping up or down while browsing images are now smoother and more responsive. Video editing now supports cutting, splitting, multi-clip stitching, music, text, speed adjustment, cropping, and more. The AI Eraser has been improved to produce clearer images with fewer visible traces after removing objects. The Remove Reflections feature has also been enhanced to reduce glare in document photos and portraits of people wearing glasses.

A new “Popout” option has been added to the Collage feature, allowing the subject to appear outside the frame for a layered effect. Filters now support Motion Photo, Screenshots, and screen recordings, and Edited categories, making it easier to organize content. An Auto Straighten tool can correct tilted portraits, buildings, or other images while cropping and rotating. Thumbnail parsing has also been optimized to display previews faster, but this is limited to OxygenOS 16 and supported models.

The AI Writer feature, available only on OxygenOS 16 and some devices, now supports more writing scenarios. Users can generate compositions, letters, proposals, job descriptions, and video scripts using the “Write anything” option.

Private Safe improvements are available on OxygenOS 14 and above. Adding images and files is now faster, and users can edit photos and videos directly inside Private Safe without unlocking them first. The update also includes general system stability improvements.

In Drawer mode, app categorization has been improved with the addition of two new categories called Office and Finance. Charging happens in three stages: fast charging, constant charging, and trickle charging. The system shows 100 percent before the battery is fully saturated. Trickle charging takes about 20 minutes and restores capacity lost due to self-discharge. Only after this stage is complete does the system reset usage time since the last full charge.

Feature Improvements

On the feature side, AI Enhance can be used by opening Notes, tapping the plus icon, selecting Scan document, and then choosing AI Enhance. Private Safe search has also been improved. Users can now search private images, videos, audio files, documents, and other files through Settings, Security and privacy, and Private Safe.

System Update Timeline

Lastly, OnePlus confirmed that the OxygenOS B30P01 update began rolling out on January 19, 2026, and will complete by February 5. The update mainly improves search functions inside Private Safe.

When you crop or rotate portrait and architectural photos, you can use automatic straightening for quicker and more accurate edits.

Filtering photos is now more detailed. New filter options let you sort by Motion Photos, screenshots and screen recordings, and edited media. Photos and Battery

ColorOS 16 features

ColorOS 16 introduces several AI based features. AI Mind Space allows users to record 60 second voice notes by long pressing the Snap Key. The AI Recorder Assistant generates titles and summaries for recordings and reduces background noise, making it useful for lectures, meetings, and interviews.

AI Writer focuses on content creation. It can generate captions for social media images based on the platform and convert text into mind maps or tables to help organize ideas and plans.

The update also adds new cross device features. When an iPhone is connected via Bluetooth, calls, messages, and app notifications can be viewed on the OPPO phone through the OPPO Dialer. Users can mirror their phone screen to a PC using a cable or cloud connection, with support for up to five app windows at the same time.

Performance related changes include the Trinity Engine, which helps maintain stable frame rates during multitasking and gaming, and the Luminous Rendering Engine, which makes system animations smoother.

Screens flicker during video calls on WhatsApp, Instagram, and other apps on certain models. The team is working urgently to fix this. OnePlus has not specified which models are affected.

Third-Party App Problems

The keyboard overlaps with the navigation bar when using Google Pay because of app compatibility issues. OnePlus reported this to Google.

Facebook comments and posts show incomplete text due to app incompatibility. You can temporarily fix this by swiping the page. A future update will fix it permanently.

B20P02 Update Details

The B20P02 version started rolling out on December 24, 2025. The rollout will finish by January 12, 2026. This update adds faster tool access, storage cleanup options, and better screenshot features.

OnePlus Nord 3 & OnePlus 11R Receive OxygenOS 16 in India

The Chinese brand is releasing the new OxygenOS iteration for the OnePlus 11R and Nord 3. OnePlus has confirmed that the update is only rolling out in India, so a wider release should follow soon. The OnePlus 11R is getting the OxygenOS 16 update that carries the CPH2487_16.0.1.300(EX01) firmware version, which has a hefty download size of 3.51GB. Meanwhile, the Nord 3 is receiving CPH2491_16.0.2.400(EX01) firmware build.

Along with Android 16 OS, OnePlus is also bringing the November 2025 Android Security patch for the OnePlus 11R. So both models are now getting the refreshed UI that brings fluid animations and improved user experience thanks to Parallel Processing and Trinity Engine. There are also various AI powered features such as Mind Space, AI powered Photos, Notes, Recorder, Writer, and much more.

OxygenOS 16 also brings improved integration of Google Gemini. OnePlus promises enhanced performance and seamless sharing support for Windows and Mac, along with improved syncing with iPhones and Apple Watch. For security, OxygenOS 16 upgrades data protection with enhanced virus scanning speed in Phone Manager and additional features. In related news, the OnePlus Nord 5 also received this update last month, while the older flagship, the OnePlus 11, got this major OS upgrade earlier this month.

OnePlus started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 for the OnePlus 15R in India. This is the first update for the smartphone. The update targets model CPH2767_16.0.1.305(EX01) and brings system stability improvements, better battery life, camera enhancements, and more reliable wireless and network connections.

What’s New

The system gets better stability and performance. OnePlus fixed power consumption problems in certain situations to make the battery last longer. The Gaussian blur effect when opening and closing apps on the home screen now works smoother.

Camera and Connections

The camera performs better and runs more stable. Wireless connections are now more reliable and work with more devices. Sharing communication features with iPhones is more stable. Network connections are also more stable with better overall experience.

How the Update Works

OnePlus is releasing this update in batches. A small group of users gets it first, then everyone else receives it in a few days. The features in the update can differ depending on your region.

Reporting Problems

Indian users have two ways to report bugs. Open the OnePlus Community App, go to your profile, and find the “Bug Report” section. You can also dial *#800# on your phone to open the feedback tool.

If you haven’t received the update notification yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings > System > System updates. OnePlus has not said when other regions will get this update.

According to Sandeep Sarma, Associate Director of Marketing and PR at Xiaomi India, the Chinese tech giant is bringing the HyperOS 3 upgrade to a fresh batch of new devices. The new Android 16 OS based custom skin is rolling out on multiple models, so check if your device is eligible for this update:

• Xiaomi Pad 7
• Redmi Note 14 5G
• Redmi 13
• POCO F7
• POCO M7 Pro 5G

We already knew that the Redmi Note 14 5G was receiving this update, but now we finally have official confirmation of the update coming to the high end tablet, along with Redmi and POCO branded smartphones. The HyperOS 3 update brings smoother and more stable performance, along with a refined user interface. There are a bunch of changes to Xiaomi’s Android 16 skin and smoother animations across the board.

One of the biggest new additions to Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 is the HyperIsland feature that is inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. It functions as a pill shaped feature on the top that shows all live activities like music, calls, timers, navigation, and more.
