The LG V40 ThinQ is the latest LG flagship phone to go official in India. The smartphone features a notched OLED display, a Snapdragon 845, three rear cameras and dual selfie shooters. The handset has arrived in India with a price tag of Rs. 49,990 (~$700). It is the very same smartphone that had gone official in October 2018.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a glass panel on its rear and a durable metallic frame. It comes with IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810G grade chassis. The notched FullVision screen of 6.4 inches produces Quad HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is the driving force of the smartphone. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 128 GB and it comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage.

A fresh tweet from popular tipster Evan Blass claims that an LG smartwatch that was rumored to launch as LG Timepiece Watch will be debuting soon as LG Watch W7. The all new Watch W7 is now rumored to break cover alongside the LG V40 ThinQ smartwatch on Oct. 4.

In April, the Android Headlines had carried an exclusive report on the LG Watch Timepiece which contained all the information on its specs and features. It had claimed that the LG Watch Timepiece will be a hybrid device that will run on Android Wear OS and it will feature a mechanical clock setup. Hence, the upcoming LG Watch W7 will function as analog as well as digital smartwatch.

Based on the information that had surfaced six months ago, the LG Watch Timepiece will be sporting a stainless body that will measure 45.5 x 45.5 x 12.9mm. This suggest that when it comes to size, it will sit between LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport. The device will be equipped with swappable 22mm silicon rubber strap. For connectivity, the LG Watch Timepiece will be equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. It will also feature USB-C 2.0 port. The smartwatch will neither have cellular capabilities, nor it will feature GPS and NFC.

Fresh information reveals that the South Korean company will be releasing the LG V40 ThinQ in the market after the Apple debut its new iPhones. Fresh renders of the smartphone have surfaced to reveal its design.

The LG V40 ThinQ renders reveal that it is fitted with a notched display. However, the black bars present on the either side of the notch suggests that the phone will come with an option to hide it. The notch of the V40 ThinQ is equipped with dual selfie cameras, an earpiece and some other sensors.

Moving to the glass rear of the LG V40 ThinQ, it feature horizontally arranged triple rear cameras and a fingerprint scanner. An LED flash is placed on the right side of the triple camera system. The bottom edge of the V40 ThinQ features a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port and an external speaker. The left side of the phone features volume up and down buttons followed by a dedicated key for accessing Google Assistant. Its right edge is equipped with a power key and SIM card tray.

The renders leak did not reveal any information on it specifications. It is speculated that it would be featuring a P-OLED screen, Snapdragon 845 SoC, Android 9 Pie OS and quad-DAC.

According to a South Korean publication, the G7 ThinQ smartphone has encountered lackluster sales as the company could sell only half the number of 3 million internal sales goal. The leakster has further claimed Apple 12 that powers the forthcoming 2018 iPhones is a 7nm SoC.
