BYD has been gearing up to launch a new SUV model. But prior to its official announcement, the company has shared a new teaser video which showcases the upcoming N7 SUV model.

Looking at the new teaser, we can see the N7 SUV being driven through the snow. For those unaware, the N series is the Chinese automobile manufacturer’s SUV series and the N7 will be the latest addition. This model will be a medium sized SUV with five seats. The company had teased the concept of this vehicle in the past and it appears that a mass produced version of this vehicle features camouflage as well, based on the trailer.

We can see sharp headlights at the front with a wing shaped grille just below both headlights. Rumors have suggested that the BYD N7 will feature the brand’s proprietary DM-i hybrid engine, which means that it can run on both regular fuel and even on pure electricity as well. Unfortunately, the pricing of this vehicle is still at large, but the N7 SUV model may launch in the 200,000 to 300,000 Yuan price range (roughly 29,000 to 43,000 US Dollars).

As of right now, the company has yet to official reveal the launch date for this vehicle. Although, an official had previously mentioned that the N7 SUV will be released in the first half of this year. Meaning, we can expect it to launch in the Spring season in China. Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest generation of highly anticipated foldable smartphones soon. But prior to any official announcement, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 model has been spotted in a leaked video teaser.

For those unaware, the South Korean tech giant is planning on unveiling the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 during the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. However, ahead of this conference, a new teaser of the upcoming Galaxy event was leaked. The teaser included a video, which was shared by tipster ChunV. Looking at this video, we can see flex display feature of the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone.

Despite teasing the higher end foldable model, the leaked video does not reveal the entire design of the Z Fold 4. Although, from a design perspective, it is expected to be similar to the last generation Galaxy Z Fold 3, which also had a vertical hinge. Talking more about the upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will sport a large 7.6 inch primary display that has a FHD+ resolution, AMOLED panel, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the external panel will be a slimmer 6.2 inch panel that has an HD+ resolution.

The from camera is also expected to be housed under the display and is believed to have a 16 megapixel resolution. On the other hand, the rear will feature a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, 12 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 12 megapixel telephoto shooter. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the device, which will likely be paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Earlier today (28th October 2020), Huawei officially announced a new smart product for vehicles. In a video teaser, the company unveiled a smart screen that will be housed within automobiles.

At the moment, not a lot of details regarding the product are known, although, it has been officially confirmed to be launched on 30th October 2020. The smart screen is “Powered by HUAWEI HiCar,” which is a part of the company’s initiative to enter the automobile peripherals market. As per the video, the in vehicle smart screen will sport a front facing camera that appears to be housed in a pop up mechanism.

We can also observe that the front will primarily be covered by the device’s display, which is flat, while the rear houses all the necessary components alongside the speaker grills. A short clip of the bottom also revealed that the company will offer a stand with the smart screen to properly secure it in the car. Furthermore, the new smart screen will be powered by HarmonyOS 2.0 (or HongMengOS in China) and will likely be capable of taking calls, listening to music, or even watching videos and movies.

Unfortunately, finer details are still unknown like the size of the display, but it is likely to be the size of a tablet and would also act as a control panel. Huawei is set to branch out towards the automobile industry and the new product might be the first of many for the company. OnePlus had recently tweeted out a new teaser video through its official Twitter handle. Unfortunately, the video shared in the post does not reveal much detail regarding what might be coming up. Although it does seem like the new reveal will not be for an upcoming smartphone. From what we can observe in the video, components of moving mechanism can be observed, which has led to some speculation to surface regarding collaboration with an automobile company.

Previously, OnePlus had partnered with McLaren for the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7T Pro, and this may be a step further in a similar direction. Furthermore, the UK branch at OnePlus also tweeted out stills of the video which also revealed something resembling a camera ens surrounded by other machinery.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait for 3rd March 2020, which is basically tomorrow, for more news regarding the same. However, a McLaren themed/edition of a camera based concept could be expected. But since the company is currently in the process of branching out, we might be introduced to another field entirely. Xiaomi is all set to announce its first ever processor, the Xiaomi Pinecone chipset on February 28. We already have seen a couple of warm up teasers from the company, including a poll asking fans which Pinecone logo was the best. Now, the company has released its first ever teaser video for the Xiaomi Pinecone processor.

While the video does not reveal any specific feature or specification of the processor, from the theme, it looks like Xiaomi is trying to hint that the processor will be quite powerful. Recent reports have said that the Pinecone chipset should be placed somewhere above the Mediatek P10 and near to Snapdragon 625 in terms of performance. So, it will basically be a mid-range chipset.

Despite the video showing Chinese text, the theme of the video is quite clear. In the video, Wang Feng, two-time World Memory Championship Winner, is asked to memorize two sets of 100 numbers shown on two large displays. While this would be an impossible feat for a regular human being, Fang is different as he is a mnemonist, and can recall unusually long list of data. So, unsurprisingly, in the video, he managed to write down the entire set of data, in proper sequence without much trouble.

Note that memorizing this much data isn’t a big deal for Wang as he holds three world records — recalling 300 of 400 spoken numbers, memorizing 500 numbers in five minutes and 2660 numbers in an hour!

We can expect Xiaomi to release more such interesting video teasers for its Pinecone chipset in the coming days.

To recap, recent rumors state that the Xiaomi Pinecone processor will feature 8 x Cortex A53 architecture with integrated baseband (Cat. 6 support). We’ll get full details about the chipset at the big event on February 28.
