Back in October, Vido had showed off a new tablet with retina class display at the Fall Hong Kong Electronics Fair. Now, it looks like the company is all set to release the device officially as it has revealed some teaser images of the said device.

The new dual OS Vido M9i will feature a slim metal body which to be honest looks quite good. The highlight of this new tablet will be the dual OS compatibility, which means can boot into Windows 8 as well as Android as per your convenience. This is truly a great feature as its always good to have multiple OS options. Android OS brings millions of apps from the Google Play Store with many optimized for large screen tablets, while the Windows 8 OS a familiar desktop like environment ideal for work.

Given its large 9.7-inch display with Retina resolution, the dual OS Vido M9i won’t be as portable as a 7-inch tablet. However, the large screen size makes it a great device for office use.

While the exact specifications of the device have not been revealed, the specs sheet shown off back in October gives us a clue about M9i’s overall tech specs. Like its written at the back, the Vido M9i will be powered by an Intel processor. The Android powered variant came with the Intel Z3735F clocked at a maximum frequency of 1.83GHz. The tablet had 2GB of RAM onboard along with 16GB internal storage. At the back, there was a 5MP shooter along with a 2MP shooter up front. To support the large display, the M9i Android version had a 6000mAh battery.

However, expect the new dual OS Vido M9i to feature better specs than the one mentioned above. The processor, RAM and camera are expected to get an upgrade taking the overall cost to $1500. The tablet will be announced later this month.

The Microsoft Windows platform is become more interesting since the Micrsoft is offers this platform with license-free for device that has less than 9-inch screen size and use Bing as the default search engine in the device.

Vido is already release the new tablet device that running with Windows 8.1 operating system, those tablet are; Vido W11C, Vido W10Pro, and Vido W11Pro.

The new Vido W11C has 10.1 inch screen size with 1900 x 1200 IPS screen, poewered by Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735D. the tablet is sports with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This tablet is running WIndows 8.1.2 operating system and interestingly, this tablet is using 8400 mAh battery capacity. This tablet is also support for UltraStick 3G from Huawei and offers with 1999 yuan price tag or about $320 USD.

While the Vido W10 Pro is offers with 4GB of RAM (DDRL3), 64GB storage and packs with 10 inch screen with 1280 x 800p x 10.1 inch  display. Powered by Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3770 (quadcore, up to 2.39Ghz), Two full-sized USB ports, 802.11ac support, and has 8000mAh battery capacity, support for Huawei UltraStick 3G support and GPS. The price of this device is ¥ 2699 or about $431 USD.

And the last but not least, the Vido W11 Pro, this tablet is sports with 2GB of RAM (DDRL3), 64GB of storage, and packs with 10.1 inch screen size with 1900 x 1200p x 10.1 inch IPS display (223 PPI), powered by Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3740D (quadcore, up to 2.39Ghz), and equipped with 8000mAh battery capacity, and has suport for Huawei UltraStick 3G and GPS, while for now there is no information about the price yet.

Vido is one of Chinese electronic manufacturer that has launch several tablet device recently, at conference in Beijing Vido has launch their new tablet device such as Vido W10 Pro, Vido W11 Pro and W11C.

While Vido W10 Pro is the upgrade version from previous model, and W11 Pro is also upgrade version from the previous model, but now we have the Vido W11C, this is the one of Windows 8 tablet device that powered by Intel chipset.

Vido W11C has 10.1 inch screen size with 1920 x 1200 IPS AUO screen, the tablet is sports with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This tablet is running WIndows 8.1.2 operating system, this is the new platform from Windows, and interestingly, this tablet is using 8400 mAh battery capacity.

This tablet is also preinstalled with GPS application, support for memory card expansion, has gyro and light sensor. And the 64GB version is offers for only 1,999 yuan or around $320 USD price tag in JingDong Mall.
