Vivo will be unveiling the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W on May 4 in India. The landing page of the Pro model has been live on the Flipkart retailer site since last week. Through the listing, the company has been gradually confirming a couple of specifications of the phone. First, it was confirmed that it would be powered by the Snapdragon 778G. Now, it has revealed some more details about the device.

The Flipkart listing has revealed that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G will carry support for 66W fast charging. The company claims that the phone will be able to go from 0 to 50 percent by charging it only for 18 minutes.

For photography, it will feature a triple camera, which will be led by a 64-megapixel main camera. It will be accompanied by a wide-angle lens with a 117-degree FOV and a macro camera. Vivo is yet to confirm the configurations of the auxiliary cameras. The Super Night Camera feature may allow the T1 Pro to capture better shots in dim-light conditions. Vivo is said to be working on two new T-series smartphones called the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W for India. A landing page for these smartphones has gone live on Vivo India’s website. The listing suggests that the company may start selling these phones in the country in early May.

The landing page of the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and T1 44W states that it will be launching soon. Starting from today (April 26), the Chinese manufacturer will be revealing the processor, charging capabilities (on April 28), camera configurations (on April 30), and display details (on May 2). This indicates that both phones may debut in the first week of the coming month in India.

Vivo launched the T1 5G smartphone in India in the month of February. The brand is planning to add two new phones to this lineup dubbed the Vivo T1 Pro and the T1 44W.

Now, the company has officially teased the Vivo T1 44W in a Twitter post revealing its design.

The device in the teaser poster is most likely the Vivo T1 44W. The phone appears to have a slightly curved back panel and flat edges. The device has two circular cutouts on the camera island of which, the first one appears to hold a single larger camera while the one on the bottom holds two cameras.

Last week’s spec leak revealed that the Vivo T1 44W will be positioned below the Vivo T1 5G and will have a price tag near Rs 15,000 (~$196) in India. The smartphone will have an AMOLED screen and will come powered by the 4G enabled Snapdragon 680 SoC. Now, a new report (via India Today) has surfaced online stating that Vivo will launch another device alongside the Vivo T1 Pro dubbed the Vivo T1 44W.

The Vivo T1 44W will be positioned below the Vivo T1 5G and will have a price tag near Rs 15,000 in India. The smartphone will have an AMOLED screen and will come powered by the 4G enabled Snapdragon 680 SoC. Vivo’s next smartphone in the T-series will be the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. The device recently passed Geekbench revealing key details. Now, Onsitego has revealed the launch timeline of the device for the Indian market.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is tipped to launch in May in the Indian market. It means that we still have a few weeks until we see the phone on the shelves. We expect the device to arrive above Rs. 20,000 (~$262) range. Post launch, it is expected to compete with the subbrand’s iQOO Z6 Pro 5G.

To those unaware, the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G is set to arrive with the same chipset as the Vivo T1 Pro 5G i.e. the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. We have already seen the T1 Pro 5G on Geekbench scoring 790 points in the single-core department and 2856 points in the multi-core department.

After the Vivo T1 5G, the next phone to enter the newly introduced T-series in India is the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. A report from February revealed that the phone would arrive in India between April and May. Well, the brand hasn’t come out to tease the device as of yet. However, the phone has been spotted on Geekbench certification.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G carries the model number V2151 on the Geekbench version 5. The device has scored 790 points in the single-core department and 2856 points in the multi-core department. These scores are possible, thanks to the octa-core SoC inside the phone.

The device has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC clocked at a base frequency of 1.80GHz and a maximum of 2.40GHz. The variant that we see here is the 8GB RAM variant. We expect this to be the top variant, which will likely be paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The listing reveals that the phone comes with the Android 12 OS out of the box.

Apart from this, there are no details of the phone’s other specs. However, we can expect the phone to offer better cameras than its sibling, the Vivo T1 5G. It is also expected to have an improved fast charging speed.
