<p>The month of March was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/11/upcoming-smartphones-march-2023/">full of smartphone launches</a>. We witnessed the release of many most-anticipated handsets like the Oppo Find X6 series, Huawei P60 series, Redmi Note Turbo, and more.</p>

<p>April won’t be different either. Multiple big-name brands have already confirmed to debut several high-profile devices.</p>

<p>For example, Vivo will be launching its new-gen foldables, including its first clamshell foldable. Also, Xiaomi will release its new Ultra smartphone, while Asus will debut its latest ROG gaming smartphone.</p>

<p>Apart from the aforementioned premium handsets, we are also looking forward to mid-rangers and budget models, like the much-awaited flagship-killer Poco F5. All in all, there will be new phone releases this month spread across different price segments.</p>

<p>With that out of the way, let’s have a look at these handsets one by one.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Osom Solana Saga</strong></h3>

<p>The Osom Solana Saga is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/26/solana-mobile-saga-launch/">finally launching</a> on April 13 at 10 AM Pacific Time. This device was initially announced almost a year ago in June 2022 as a Web3 smartphone.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="680" height="665" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OSOM-Solana-Saga-1.jpg?x44794" alt="OSOM Solana Saga" class="wp-image-491902" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OSOM-Solana-Saga-1.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OSOM-Solana-Saga-1-300x293.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/OSOM-Solana-Saga-1-429x420.jpg 429w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></figure>

<p>The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset. It will house an improved Leica-powered quad-camera system. The setup will include a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 primary sensor and three 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors for ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope.</p>

<p>It will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Finally, it will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and will carry support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip are expected to launch this month. The former will go official as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 foldable, while the latter is the company’s first clamshell foldable.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Vivo X Fold 2" class="wp-image-527823" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Vivo-X-Fold-2-live-image.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The X Fold 2 is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/06/vivo-x-fold-2-specifications-leaked/">said to come</a> with an 8.03-inch 120Hz main display and a 6.03-inch 120Hz secondary screen. It will sport a Zeiss-powered triple camera setup head by a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor. These cameras will use Vivo V2 ISP for image processing.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the X Flip will feature a large cover display on its back. But the screen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/03/vivo-x-flip-live-image/">appears to be inconvenient</a>. This device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip instead.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Poco F5 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Poco-F5/">Poco F5</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Poco-F5-Pro/">Poco F5 Pro</a> might release by the end of April. These handsets will go official as rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 12 Turbo" class="wp-image-526070" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-Note-12-Turbo-Featured.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Therefore, the vanilla model will house the new Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, whereas the pro variant will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. But both will arrive with an OIS-assisted 64MP main camera, MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and 67W wired charging support.</p>

<p>Since both are rebadged versions of different phone lineups, their design will differ. Thus, the regular variant will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the pro.</p>

<p>Last year, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Vivo/">Vivo </a>debuted the Vivo T1 series in India. The lineup includes three models, namely Vivo T1, Vivo T1 44W, and Vivo T1x.</p>

<p>All of these smartphones are rebranded iQOO Z6 devices, which also follow the same nomenclature. They are called iQOO Z6, iQOO Z6 44W, and iQOO Z6x.</p>

<p>Now, as iQOO Z7 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/21/india-exclusive-iqoo-z7-5g-goes-on-sale-today-in-india-with-rs-17499-starting-price-checkout-offers/">has been released</a> in India, a report says that the Vivo T2 series will follow soon in the country. But unlike its predecessor, the Vivo T2 lineup will be different from the iQOO Z7 family.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-1024x683.jpeg?x44794" alt="Vivo T1 Pro 5G" class="wp-image-462389" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-768x512.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-1536x1024.jpeg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-696x464.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-1068x712.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A-630x420.jpeg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Vivo-T1-Pro-5G-Featured-A.jpeg 1665w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo T1 Pro 5G</figcaption></figure>

<p>According to <a href="https://pricebaba.com/blog/vivo-t2-series-india-launch-timeframe-price-and-key-details-emerge"><em>PriceBaba</em></a>, the Vivo T2 series will launch in India by mid-April. The publication states that there will be two devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity chipsets.</p>

<p>The exact names of these phones are not known but they are expected to go by Vivo T2 and Vivo T2x. Both of them will be priced below ₹20,000 in the country.</p>

<p>These two handsets<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/10/vivo-t2-5g-snapdragon-695/"> were s</a><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/10/vivo-t2x-global-launch-near-google-play-console/">potted</a> on Google Play Console listings a few weeks back. The duo will arrive with an FHD+ display sporting a dewdrop notch and Android 13.</p>

<p>The Vivo T2 (V2222) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, while the Vivo T2x will house a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. The latter model will likely be the most affordable of the two.</p>

<p>We are looking forward to official teasers from the brand in the coming days. Until then, let us know your thoughts on these upcoming phones in the comment section below.</p>

<p><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/vivo">Vivo</a> might be ready to launch a new mid-range smartphone in the global market. The product in question is called the Vivo T2x and it was unveiled last year in China with decent specifications and a rather familiar design. While there’s no official confirmation about the handset’s international launch, its Google Play console listing suggests we won’t have to wait for long.</p>

<p>Vivo T2x has been spotted on the Google Play console with a MediaTek MT6833 chip. This is likely the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-700">Dimensity 700</a> SoC, which powers many affordable smartphones out there. Further, the listing reveals the<a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t2x"> Vivo T2x 5G</a> global variant will arrive with a Full HD+ resolution display and run Android 13 OS out of the box. The panel could have a 440 PPI pixel density and a water-drop-shaped notch. It may come with 8GB of RAM.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="718" height="821" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console.webp?x44794" alt="Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console" class="wp-image-521671" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console.webp 718w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console-262x300.webp 262w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console-696x796.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Vivo-T2x-5G-Google-Play-Console-367x420.webp 367w" sizes="(max-width: 718px) 100vw, 718px" /><figcaption>Image Via MySmartPrice</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Notably, the Chinese version of the handset featured a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It packs a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The LCD panel boasts a 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC Dimming, DCI-P3 color space coverage, and a peak brightness of 650 nits.</p>

<p>The handset debuted in China with a dual 50MP main sensor + 2MP macro lens setup, and is equipped with a brand-new linear axis vibration motor. Vivo T2x packs a particularly large 6,000mAh battery with support for Vivo’s Wired 44W FlashCharge that can charge the phone from 0% to 50% in 35 minutes. Vivo is yet to confirm the global launch of the Vivo T2x. We can expect the brand to release an official announcement pretty soon. Stay tuned.</p>

<p>The news arrives from known <a href="https://weibo.com/6048569942/LuLnafHMJ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station</a> who revealed important specifications of the upcoming T2X smartphone. As per the tipster, this model will be a budget handset that will priced under 1,000 Yuan (roughly 150 US Dollars). But despite its price tag, the Chinese smartphone maker will focus on offering capable performance and battery life. On the front, the Vivo T2X will reportedly sport a 6.58 inch LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution.</p>
<p>The rear panel features a dual camera setup that has a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the front houses a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Under the hood, the device is expected to be equipped with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1300/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MediaTek Dimensity 1300</a> SoC. The tipster added that the model will be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 44W fast charging out of the box.</p>
<p>The T2X will measure 9.21mm in thickness and weighs around 202 grams. This model will likely be launching alongside the base T2 model on June 6.
