Vivo has equipped this phone with a larger 6,500mAh battery. It also features a slightly better display than the T4 Lite, offering a 120Hz refresh rate on its 6.74-inch HD+ screen. Under the hood, it is powered by the Dimensity 6300.

On the software side, it runs OriginOS 6 and includes a few modern software additions like Google Gemini and Circle to Search. However, to accommodate the larger battery and faster screen, Vivo scaled back the camera to a basic 13-megapixel sensor. It also retains the slower 15W charging speed.

Vivo Y19s 5G

The Vivo Y19s 5G has a standard retail price of ₹16,499, but frequent bank discounts bring it closer to the ₹15,000 mark.

Internally, it is very similar to the T4 Lite 5G, featuring the same Dimensity 6300 chip, a 90Hz HD+ display, and a 6,000mAh battery. The main difference is its build.

It has SGS and Military-Grade Shock Resistance certifications, making it a bit more resilient against accidental drops. Like the Y11, it only has a 13-megapixel main camera. It is a practical choice if you tend to be rough on your devices.

Vivo T4x 5G

The Vivo T4x 5G launched at ₹16,999, but its price has settled since then. Retail listings now sit between roughly ₹14,000 and ₹15,500, which puts it comfortably inside this budget and makes it the best option on the list.

The T4x 5G offers a clear upgrade in almost every category. It features a sharper Full HD+ 120Hz display and uses the more capable MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.

It combines a 50-megapixel camera with a 6,500mAh battery, and most importantly, it supports 44W fast charging, which makes refilling that large battery much more convenient.

One more thing worth knowing. If your budget can stretch to ₹18,999, the newer Vivo T5x adds a 7,200mAh battery, a faster Dimensity 7400 Turbo chip, and IP69 water resistance.

What about the new Vivo T5e?

Vivo added the T5e to this segment in late July at ₹13,999, the same official price as the T4 Lite. It is hard to recommend here. You give up 5G, the 50-megapixel Sony camera becomes a basic 8-megapixel shooter, the battery shrinks to 5,500mAh, and the Unisoc chip is a step down from the Dimensity 6300. It exists for buyers who want a simple 4G phone with a big flashlight and a loud speaker. Everyone else should put the same money on the T4 Lite.

Vivo has just unveiled a brand new budget smartphone in the Indian market. For under Rs 10,000, the Vivo T4 Lite packs a capable chipset, a mammoth battery pack, and a smooth display. So here’s everything you need to know.

Vivo T4 Lite: What does it offer?

The Vivo T4 Lite sports a tall 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The front also has a water drop notch for the selfie camera. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is an older mid-range processor. This chip is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Both the memory and storage can be boosted thanks to virtual RAM expansion and a microSD card slot (up to 1TB) respectively.

Vivo packs the T4 Lite with a huge 6,000mAh battery pack, which supports 15W wired fast charging. For optics, the rear has a 50MP Sony primary camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. The front houses a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Out of the box, this model runs on the Android 15 OS based Funtouch OS 15 custom skin. Other notable features include an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, Dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.4, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo T4 Lite just debuted in India in two color options, namely Prism Blue and Titanium Gold. It has a starting price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options cost Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999. Vivo has confirmed that the T4 Lite 5G will launch in India on June 24. It will be Vivo’s most affordable 5G smartphone so far, expected to be priced under ₹10,000.

The phone will come with a 6000mAh battery, the biggest battery in its segment. It also features a display with up to 1000 nits peak brightness, making it easier to view in bright light. This is the first phone in this price range to offer that level of brightness.

The T4 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It supports dual SIM 5G and has expandable storage up to 2TB through a microSD card. While vivo hasn’t shared full memory specs yet, the phone is expected to be similar to the iQOO Z10 Lite, which has up to 8GB of RAM, 8GB of virtual RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. The Z10 Lite also includes an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, so the T4 Lite 5G may offer the same.

Vivo is also expected to include a 50MP rear camera, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed. After launch, the T4 Lite 5G will be available on Flipkart, vivo’s official website, and offline stores.
