<p>Vivo is now pushing the OriginOS 6 update to Vivo T4 Pro users. It should have arrived a few weeks ago, according to the official rollout schedule, but users won’t mind this small delay, given the big list of new features and improvements the update is bringing along.</p>

<p>The Android 16-based for the Vivo T4 Pro is tagged with the firmware version <strong>PD2503KF_EX_A_16.1.7.0.W30</strong>. Being a major upgrade, it comes with a substantial download size of about 3.85GB. It’s better to use a stable Wi-Fi connection for downloading such large update packages.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-T4-Pro-OriginOS-6-update-462x1024.webp?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-T4-Pro-OriginOS-6-update-462x1024.webp?x44794" alt="Vivo T4 Pro OriginOS 6 update" class="wp-image-723106" width="297" height="651" /></figure></div></a></div>

<p>As usual, the update is initially rolling out to beta testers via the trial program to ensure the final version does not contain any critical bugs. If waiting pains you more than software bugs, you can join the trial program now and get early access to the latest features and improvements. For this, navigate to <strong>Settings &gt; About Phone &gt; System updates &gt; version Trial &gt; Trial version &gt; download and install</strong>.</p>

<p>Ensure that your Vivo smartphone has at least 10GB of free space on the internal storage before downloading the upgrade. Also, charge it to at least 50% for a smooth upgrade to OriginOS 6. For added safety, you can back up important data before installing the update.</p>

<p>As for the changes, OriginOS 6 introduces loads of visual upgrades, new features, and improvements throughout the system. There’s a new Origin Island for real-time updates, a redesigned Control Center with an improved notification center, improved lighting effects, and new system fonts for better readability. The lock screen receives new clock styles, enhanced layout controls, and additional widgets. <p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/">Vivo</a> is all set to launch its next T4-series phone in India. Dubbed the Vivo T4 Pro, the new phone is scheduled to go official on Aug. 26. Here’s a look at the details that the brand has confirmed so far about the device.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo T4 Pro design</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="544" height="680" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-launch-date.png?x44794" alt="Vivo T4 Pro launch date" class="wp-image-702604" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-launch-date.png 544w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-launch-date-240x300.png 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-launch-date-336x420.png 336w" sizes="(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px" /><figcaption>Vivo T4 Pro launch date</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Starting with design, the Vivo T4 Pro features a quad-curved display on the front, and its back panel has a camera island similar to the Vivo V60 and X200 FE. A major difference, however, is the absence of the Zeiss logo, suggesting that this phone is more performance-focused than photography-centric.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, the phone comes with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/15/vivo-t4-pro-3x-periscope-zoom-launch-india/">periscope telephoto camera</a>, the only one to offer this feature in its price segment.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo T4 Pro key specifications</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4-pro/">Vivo T4 Pro</a> has an FHD+ AMOLED panel on the front and has a slim profile of 7.53mm. For clearer zoomed shots, the device is equipped with a Sony IM882 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.</p>

<p>Like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v60">Vivo V60</a>, the T4 Pro will feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-gen-4">the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4</a> SoC, which is a noteworthy upgrade considering the T3 Pro debuted with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 last year. It will be joined by a massive 6,500mAh battery. Rumors surrounding the device claim that it may support 90W fast charging.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo T4 Pro price in India</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo T4 Pro will be positioned lower than the Vivo T4 Ultra in the country. It will be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. When it comes to color options, it will be sold in two shades such as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/14/vivo-t4-pro-design-key-specifications-leak/">blue and gold</a>. This phone is expected to rival the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4-powered Realme P4 Pro, which recently debuted in India.</p>

<p>A report that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/14/vivo-t4-pro-design-key-specifications-leak/">surfaced yesterday</a> revealed that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo">Vivo</a> will soon announce a new T4-series phone called the Vivo T4 Pro in India. It appears that the device’s launch is close at hand, as the brand has started teasing its arrival on Flipkart. As can be seen below, the brand has revealed the rear design of the phone.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo T4 Pro officially teased</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="497" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-2-497x1024.png?x44794" alt="Vivo T4 Pro teaser" class="wp-image-701582" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-2-497x1024.png 497w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-2-146x300.png 146w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-2-204x420.png 204w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-2.png 514w" sizes="(max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px" /><figcaption>Vivo T4 Pro teaser</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Vivo T4 Pro’s camera module resembles what’s available on the Vivo V60 and X200 FE. However, one noticeable difference is that the camera island does not have the ZEISS branding. The official promo says that the T4 Pro will offer a flagship-level 3x periscope zoom experience, thereby officially confirming that the device is equipped with a periscope telephoto camera.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-1.png?x44794" alt="Vivo T4 Pro teaser" class="wp-image-701581" width="506" height="466" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-1.png 506w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-1-300x276.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-teaser-1-1-456x420.png 456w" sizes="(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px" /><figcaption>Vivo T4 Pro teaser</figcaption></figure>

<p>It is likely that the brand will use the entire next week to tease and reveal the key features of the Vivo T4 Pro and probably unveil it in the last week of August. The T4 Pro will be positioned lower than the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4-ultra/">Vivo T4 Ultra</a>, which was priced at Rs 37,999 at launch. <p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo">Vivo</a> appears to be adding another model to its expanding T4 series in India, which already includes the T4x, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4-lite/">T4 Lite</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4/">T4</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4-ultra/">T4 Ultra</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4r-5g/">T4R</a>. A new report from SmartPrix claims that the upcoming Vivo T4 Pro could debut later this month, with the promotional poster carrying the tagline “flagship-level zoom”, hinting at the presence of a telephoto camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo T4 Pro design, key specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="720" height="405" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-design-leak.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-701456" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-design-leak.png 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-design-leak-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Vivo-T4-Pro-design-leak-696x392.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /><figcaption>Vivo T4 Pro leaked image by SmartPrix</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The above poster shared by the publication shows that the Vivo T4 Pro is “Coming Soon,” which suggests that it may launch later this month. The advertising tagline states that it will offer “flagship-level zoom, “which hints that it could be equipped with a telephoto camera.</p>

<p>According to the leak, the Vivo T4 Pro will be available in Nitro Blue and Blaze Gold color options. Its design is said to resemble the Vivo V60 and Vivo X200 FE, and it will feature a slim profile with a thickness of 7.53mm. It is said to pack a massive battery, but the exact capacity is not known yet.</p>

<p>Powering the device could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-gen-4">Snapdragon 7 Gen 4</a> chipset, the same processor used in phones like the Realme 15 Pro, Vivo V60, and Realme P4 Pro. Photography highlights may include a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, positioning it as a capable zoom-focused device in its price range.</p>

<p>It is speculated that a Vivo handset with the model number V2510, recently spotted on India’s BIS certification website, could be the T4 Pro. Other reports indicate that it may feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also rumoured to support 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras. In terms of pricing, the Vivo T4 Pro is expected to arrive under Rs 30,000, making it a potential contender in the upper mid-range segment when it launches.</p>
