<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/">Vivo</a> is expanding its budget 5G lineup in India once again, this time with the new T5x 5G. It follows last year’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/05/vivo-t4x-5g-launched-in-india/">T4x 5G</a>, but on paper at least, this looks like a fairly meaningful upgrade.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="940" height="473" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-730848" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001.png 940w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001-300x151.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001-768x386.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001-696x350.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-17-160001-835x420.png 835w" sizes="(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px" /></figure></div>

<p>Up front, the phone gets a 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s a flat panel with a punch-hole cutout, and while it’s not AMOLED, it should still be more than fine for basic tasks like texting, scrolling through social media, and watching videos on YouTube.</p>

<p>The bigger change is under the hood. Vivo has moved to the MediaTek <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/12/iqoo-z11x-5g-launched-india-dimensity-7400-turbo-7200mah-price-specs/">Dimensity 7400 Turbo</a>, replacing the Dimensity 7300. The company <a href="https://www.vivo.com/in/products/t5x">claims</a> it can cross the 1 million mark on AnTuTu, which, if it holds up in real use, should translate to smoother multitasking and slightly better gaming performance. It runs Android 16 with Origin OS 6.0, and Vivo is promising 2 years of OS updates along with 4 years of security patches.</p>

<p>Battery is clearly one of the main highlights here. The T5x packs a 7200mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. On top of that, the phone is IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant. It seems durability is a bigger focus of this phone.</p>

<p>On the camera side, things are more straightforward. There’s a 50MP Sony main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front gets an 8MP selfie camera. Nothing too ambitious, but likely good enough for daylight shots and video calls.</p>

<p>The phone comes in Star Silver and Cyber Green, with pricing starting at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 20,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version goes up to Rs. 22,999, factoring in launch offers.</p>

<p>Sales are set to begin March 24, via Flipkart, Vivo&#8217;s online store, and offline retail channels. Launch offers include up to Rs. 2,000 instant discount on select bank cards, no-cost EMI options, and bundled OTT access for eligible Jio users.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s not trying to do everything, but for budget-conscious buyers who care about practical features and reliability, it could land as an appealing option.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/">Vivo</a> has confirmed the launch date for its next budget-focused smartphone in India. The Vivo T5x 5G will be introduced on March 17, 2026, with the event scheduled for 12 PM IST. The phone is expected to succeed the Vivo T4x 5G, bringing a few notable upgrades aimed at users who want strong battery life and reliable everyday performance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="637" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-1024x637.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-730262" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-1024x637.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-768x478.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-696x433.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-1068x664.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-675x420.jpg 675w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date-356x220.jpg 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/vivo-T5x-5G-India-launch-date.jpg 1100w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>One of the biggest talking points is the battery. The T5x 5G is widely expected to pack a 7,200mAh battery, which the brand is marketing as the &#8220;Segment&#8217;s Biggest Battery.&#8221; The company is using silicon-carbon battery technology to help increase capacity without making the phone excessively bulky.</p>

<p>Charging support is rated at 44W wired fast charging. The phone is also expected to support reverse wired charging, along with bypass charging for situations like gaming.</p>

<p>Inside, the device will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. The chipset has managed to cross the one-million mark on AnTuTu, which would put it comfortably in the upper tier of performance for this segment. On paper at least, it should handle multitasking and casual gaming without much difficulty. Durability is another area Vivo is highlighting. The phone is said to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings.</p>

<p>Camera hardware looks fairly straightforward. The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor, which supports 4K video recording. On the front, the phone is expected to feature a 32MP selfie camera, which, if true, would be another notable upgrade over the 8MP selfie of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/05/vivo-t4x-5g-launched-in-india/">Vivo T4x</a>.</p>

<p>Software will be based on Android 16, paired with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/09/originos-6-update-reaches-more-vivo-t-series-phones/">OriginOS 6</a>. The device is expected to receive two major Android updates along with four years of security patches.</p>

<p>As for pricing, Vivo hasn’t revealed anything yet. But early hints suggest the T5x 5G could launch under Rs 23,000. Once announced, it will be available through Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store, and retail outlets across India.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1095" height="1066" data-id="728190" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench-.jpg?x10805" alt="iQOO Z11x Geekbench " class="wp-image-728190" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench-.jpg 1095w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--300x292.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--1024x997.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--768x748.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--696x678.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--1068x1040.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-Z11x-Geekbench--431x420.jpg 431w" sizes="(max-width: 1095px) 100vw, 1095px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z11x Geekbench metadata</figcaption></figure>
</figure>

<p>The iQOO Z11x has surfaced with model number I2507 in Geekbench’s database. The listing suggests that the device could be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/dimensity-7400">Dimensity 7400</a> chip. As usual, the listing does not specify the chip’s name directly, but its CPU configuration and GPU details available via metadata are enough to confirm the inclusion of the D7400.</p>

<p>The iQOO Z11x Geekbench listing further reveals 8GB of RAM and Android 16. The 1057 single-core and 2507 multi-core scores are in line with the usual performance of the D7400 chip.</p>

<p>To recall, the iQOO Z10x came with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It was powered by the Dimensity 7300 chip and was priced at Rs 12,499 for its 6GB+128GB base variant.</p>

<p>While the iQOO Z11x will arrive with a chipset upgrade, it should be noted that the Dimensity 7400 is essentially a minor refresh of the 7300, offering only a small 100MHz (4 percent) boost to its performance cores and roughly 15 percent better AI processing, with almost all other hardware remaining identical.</p>

<p>In India, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo-z10x/">iQOO Z10x</a> was sold via Amazon, and its rebranded version, dubbed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t4x-5g/">Vivo T4x</a>, was sold through Flipkart. Therefore, there is a possibility that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/10/vivo-v70-t5x-bis-certification-india-launch/">Vivo T5x</a> could also be a rebadged version of the iQOO Z11x. Likely, the Z11x / T5x may debut in March or April across different countries.</p>

<p>As we get closer to launch season, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> keeps popping up across certification platforms. The phone recently showed up in the IMEI database, essentially confirming the model as Vivo preps for a global release.</p>

<p>Now, its India launch looks all but confirmed, thanks to a new listing on the BIS certification site. The device appears under the model number V2538, matching what we saw in the IMEI record. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="494" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-718485" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-300x165.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-768x422.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-696x382.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-765x420.jpg 765w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70 and Vivo T5x BIS listing. <em>Image: Gadgetsdata / X</em></figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It’s not alone, either. Another device with model code V2545 also made an appearance on BIS, and it&#8217;s suspected to be the Vivo T5x.</p>

<p>As usual, the certification doesn’t spell out any hardware details. It mostly serves as a green light that both phones are cleared for an eventual debut in India.</p>

<h2><strong>Here’s what you can expect</strong></h2>

<p>Much of Vivo V70’s confirmed details come from Geekbench. The benchmark run reveals the phone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with Adreno 722 GPU, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, and 8GB of RAM. It scored 1235 in the single-core and 3920 in the multi-core test with this setup. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="590" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-590x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo S50 - Space Black" class="wp-image-717790" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-590x1024.jpg 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-173x300.jpg 173w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-768x1333.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-885x1536.jpg 885w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1180x2048.jpg 1180w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-696x1208.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1068x1854.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1920x3332.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-242x420.jpg 242w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-scaled.jpg 1475w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /><figcaption>Vivo S50 &#8211; Space Black</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The device is expected to be a global rebrand of the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/07/vivo-s50-s50-pro-mini-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Vivo S50</a>. If true, you can also expect to see a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back might feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP selfie camera is reportedly on board as well. </p>

<p>Rounding out the list are a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and an IP69 rating.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the Vivo T5x, this is its first appearance, so there’s nothing concrete on the hardware front yet. Still, a BIS listing usually means the device is cleared for launch, so more details should start surfacing soon.</p>
