Vivo is tipped to launch the Vivo V27 series in the coming weeks. Ahead of that, these phones have been popping up on certification websites revealing a few details about them.

Today, the official promo poster of these handsets has emerged. Let’s go through the leaked image.

The leaked promo image of the Vivo V27 series suggests that it will be rebranded Vivo S16 series with some differences, which we already know from previous reports. The poster reveals that the devices will be marketed as ‘The Aura Portrait Master’.

The picture shows one of the phones in the lineup (possibly Vivo V27 Pro) in two colors. As per a report, the Vivo V27 series will comprise four smartphones, namely Vivo V27 4G, Vivo V27  5G, Vivo V27 Pro 5G, and Vivo V27e 5G.

The vanilla and pro variants are tipped to be powered by MediaTek chipsets, The Pro version, in particular, is said to house a Dimensity 8100 SoC. Both of them may sport a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with support for OIS and EIS.

The handsets will carry support for 66W fast wired charging. Last but not least, they will be available in green and gold color options.

The Vivo V27 series is expected to go official in late February. It is tipped to debut in India in mid-March.

With the Vivo V23 5G, there is an important introduction when it comes to the design: you may like it very much and it makes this device almost unique in its kind. The display is an AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 6.44 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2404 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and a peak brightness of 800 nits, as well as an in-display fingerprint reader. It is a very good panel for a midrange phone, so you should not worry about it. However, with these devices, you won’t get an advanced audio experience because they are not equipped with stereo speakers, and they do not even have a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Specs & Software

The Vivo V23 5G has upgraded hardware if compared to the Vivo V21s, even though the differences are not huge and both are good mid-rangers even in terms of performance. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset built with a 6 nm production process and sporting an octa-core architecture including two Cortex A78 CPUs running at a max frequency of 2.5 GHz, six Cortex A55 CPUs running at 2 GHz, and a Mali G68 MC4 GPU. Alongside the SoC, there are up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage. The Vivo V21s has a lower-end Dimensity 800U chipset by MediaTek built with a 7 nm production process and with an octa-core architecture composed of two Cortex A76 CPUs running at 2.4 GHz, six Cortex A55 cores running at 2 GHz, and a Mali G57 MC3. With this device, you can get just 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, but unlike its internal rival, it has a micro SD slot you can use to expand the native storage. Both phones run Android 12 and Funtouch OS 12.

Camera

I personally prefer the camera setup of the Vivo V21s if compared to the Vivo V23 5G. It has a triple rear camera including a 64 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro lens. The selfie camera is one of the best ever made: a 44 MP snapper with OIS and dual-LED front-facing flash. The Vivo V23 5G has exactly the same rear cameras but without OIS. On the front, there are two sensors: a 50 MP main shooter and an 8 MP ultrawide camera, paired with a dual-LED front-facing flash, but it lacks optical stabilization just like the main camera. Battery

Last but not least, the battery: it is bigger on the Vivo V23 5G, and it charges quicker thanks to 44W fast charging. A very important advantage.

Despite we are still in January, there are already a lot of 5G budget phones launched in 2022. It is very hard to find the best 5G phone in the midrange segment because there are several models to choose from, each with different specifications. Given that three of the main brands released a new device in the recent period, we decided to compare them in order to give you a complete panorama on three of the latest handsets out there. We are talking about the Motorola Moto G71 5G, the OPPO A96 5G, and the Vivo V23 5G.

Motorola Moto G71 5G vs OPPO A96 5G vs Vivo V23 5G

Design

If your goal is to get the most attractive design, then you should go for the OPPO A96 5G. It comes with very elegant aesthetics reminding the design of the OPPO Reno7, with a thin and lightweight design as well as flat borders and a punch-hole display with a high screen to body ratio. But you should not underestimate the Vivo V23 5G: it has that big notch above the display, but it is the only mid-ranger with a color-changing design: it is able to change color if placed under sunlight. Further, it has a glass back and a very thin and lightweight body.

On the paper, the most advanced display belongs to the Vivo V23 5G. First of all, it is the only device of this trio to support a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Moto G71 5G starts from €202/$227 in India, you need about €280/$315 for the OPPO A96 5G and about €360/$405 for the Vivo V23 5G. The latter does not have the highest value for money, but it wins the comparison thanks to a better display, chipset, and cameras.

There are no big differences between the designs of the Vivo V23 and the V23 Pro. They are AMOLED panels with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, the HDR10+ certification improving the image quality on streaming platforms, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The most important difference between the Vivo V23 5G and the Vivo V23 Pro is the hardware department. The vanilla version is powered by the midrange MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor built at 6 nm with a max frequency of 2.5 GHz, while the Pro variant is fueled by the high-end MediaTek Dimensity 1200 mobile platform built at 6 nm with a max frequency of 3 GHz. The Pro variant is a more powerful phone and it is more suitable for gamers and power users thanks to its better chipset. It is not the most advanced flagship chipset, but its performance is amazing. The phones are both equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, non expandable with a micro SD. They run Android 12 out of the box, customized by Funtouch OS 12.

Camera

The Vivo V23 5G and the Vivo V23 Pro come with a triple rear camera including two different main sensors: the former has a 64 MP main camera, while the latter has a superior 108 MP sensor. The two remaining sensors are exactly the same: an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro lens. But the killer feature of these handsets is the front camera department: they both come with a dual front camera including a 50 MP main sensor (with an f/2.0 focal aperture and 4K video recording) and an 8 MP ultrawide camera.

Vivo V23 5G has a starting price of €360/$401, while the Pro version starts from €460/$513. The Pro variant is better because it comes with a better main camera, a superior chipset, and a slightly bigger battery: for the rest, if we exclude the dimensions, these devices are identical.

The Vivo V23 5G series has just been announced in India. The newly unveiled lineup includes the V23 and V23 Pro that arrive with a unique rear panel that changes color when exposed to UV light and sunlight.

Vivo V23

Talking about the base variant first, the V23 sports a 6.44 inch FHD+ AMOLED display that has a 90Hz high refresh rate. This panel is also certified for HDR10+ and includes an in display fingerprint scanner as well. For selfies, the device houses a dual front camera setup (44 megapixel primary + 8 megapixel ultra wide angle) along with a dual tone spotlight flash. On the other hand, the rear features a 64 megapixel triple camera module with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro sensor.

Under the hood, the V23 runs MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, which is a 6nm process based chip that is paired with the Mali G68 GPU. The device is powered by a 4,200mAh battery pack that supports 44W fast charging from its USB Type C port. It measures just 7.39mm at its thickest and weighs about 179 grams.

Vivo V23 Pro

Arriving at the top end version, the V23 Pro sports a 6.56 inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED panel that also has a 90Hz refresh rate. The Chinese smartphone maker claims that the panel is India’s slimmest 3D curved display. This screen also arrives with HDR10+ certification along with an in display fingerprint reader. Similar to the base variant, the Pro model also features a dual camera system on the front, but with a 50 megapixel sensor and another 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens with dual tone flash as well.

On the rear, it features a 108 megapixel primary camera coupled with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which is a 6nm process based chip with Mali G77 GPU. It houses a 4,300mAh battery pack that supports 44W fast charging from its USB Type C port. The device measures just 7.36mm and weighs 171 grams.

Color, Pricing, and Availability

Both devices arrive in two color variants, namely the Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black. Although, the Gold version is the variant that features color changing AG glass rear panel that can change its color depending on the angle at which VU light or sunlight rays fall. Notably, the Vivo V23 series runs FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12 OS. So, let’s take a look at the pricing:

While the Vivo V23 lineup is scheduled to launch in India on 5th January 2022, a new leak has revealed the official pricing for the V23 smartphone series. The leak arrives from a known online retailer in India.

The pricing leak was first reported by @yabhishekhd on Twitter. Although, it appears that the prices being shared by online seller Vijay Sales might have been unintentional since the links to the various V23 series configurations do not lead to the official listing anymore. But, Abhishek Yadav did share the pricing and storage variants in the tweet. Notably, the price leaks are also in line with a tip that we had covered previously.

For those unaware, the V23 Pro appears to be a rebranded version of the S12 Pro that was launched in China previously. Meanwhile, the base V23 is expected to feature a 6.44 inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate as well. Under the hood, the vanilla model will be India’s first phone to arrive with a Dimensity 920 chipset while the Pro variant houses the more powerful Dimensity 1200 SoC. We’re officially in 2022 and the first month of the year, January has begun. This month we expect to see many smartphones launching across the world. Some of the confirmed phone launches are from big brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi,  Realme, Vivo, and Oppo. We are also expected to see gamer-centric phones from Lenovo, premium devices from iQOO, and a couple of budget phones from brands like Tecno. So without further ado, let’s have a look at the list.

1. Lenovo Legion Y90

Lenovo will launch its Legion Y90 gaming smartphone in China. The smartphone made it to multiple rumors and it revealed its key specs and design. Similar to the company’s previous Legion Phone 2 Pro, the Legion Y90 may come with a landscape form factor. It is expected to feature a 6.92-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.

As teased recently, the phone will come with Double Engine Air Cooling technology, which could be similar to the Double Turbo Fan Supercharged Liquid Cooling technology seen in the Legion Phone 2 Pro. It will keep the internals cool even in intense gaming sessions. The device is rumored to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.

2. Vivo Y21T

Although the company unveiled the Vivo Y21T last month in Indonesia, it was previously scheduled to have its debut in India. The phone will launch on January 3 in India and offer budget-centric specs to the masses.

As per the variant released in Indonesia, the smartphone has a 6.51-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+(1600 x 710 pixels) resolution. It is an LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 89% screen-to-body ratio. The Indian variant, however, is slated to come with a slightly larger 6.58-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.

It has a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera system at the rear and an 8MP selfie snapper at the front. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and has 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. In India, it will have 4GB of RAM with the same 128GB onboard storage. It runs on Android 11 out of the box and has a 5,000mAh battery.

3. Realme GT 2 

Realme will have a big launch this month as it is expected to launch its flagship for the year, the Realme GT 2 series. The series will comprise of two major phones, the GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro, the company is also expected to launch the master edition and a camera-focused phone on January 4.

The Realme GT 2 was recently spotted on TENAA flaunting a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The GT 2 Pro was also seen with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate. The duo will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

At the helm, the GT 2 is expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the GT 2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The series is expected to come with a big battery with 65W fast charging support. As for cameras, there will be a 50MP + 50MP + a telephoto sensor on the Pro, whereas the vanilla may have a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP setup.

4. iQOO 9, 9 Pro

iQOO 9 series will be officially launched on January 5 in China. The series comprises the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro, both featuring the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The vanilla phone is expected to have a 6.78-inch FHD+ flat-screen AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro is touted to have a 6.78-inch QHD+ curved edged AMOLED LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The series will have a Samsung GN5 sensor and may feature a triple camera system. The Pro was recently rumored to have a 50MP Samsung JN1 secondary sensor and a 16MP telephoto lens. The series is expected to pack a 4,700mAh battery with whopping 120W fast charging support.

5. Vivo V23

Vivo will unveil India’s first colour-changing phone dubbed Vivo V23 on January 5. Interestingly, the phone’s back color will change in direct sunlight and UV light. The series comprising of the V23 and V23 Pro is expected to launch with a 50MP Autofocus Dual Selfie camera and one of the phones may feature a 108MP lens.

The specs for the phone are scarce but we know that the series will feature an AMOLED panel and have a mid-range processor. The Pro model was spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.

6. Xiaomi 11i, 11i HyperCharge

Xiaomi will take wraps off the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge on January 6 in India. Rumors are rife that the phone will be a rebadged model of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+(Chinese model) for the Indian market with slight changes.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will feature a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It is expected to have a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup. The phone will have a 4,500mAh battery with a crazy fast 120W fast charging technology.

7. Realme 9i

Realme is expected to launch the Realme 9i on January 10 in Vietnam. The smartphone was spotted on certification sites with Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. It is also expected to have a 33W fast charging support.

The smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch LCD punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to have a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system and a 16MP selfie snapper. As for security, it will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to run on Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0.

8. OnePlus 10, OnePlus 9RT

One of the most anticipated phone launches would be the OnePlus 10 series. The company is expected to launch the phone in the second week of this month with flagship-level internals. If we go by the recent news, the series may debut on January 11 in China.

The OnePlus 10 duo is expected to come with an AMOLED screen featuring a high refresh rate. As per leaks, the Pro may come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Similar to the predecessor, the 10 series will make use of a punch-hole screen. The series will have Hasselblad powered triple camera system with a 48MP + 50MP + 8MP system on the Pro. The series is rumored to come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 9RT on January 14 in India. The OnePlus 9RT is slated to come with a 6.62-inch 120Hz screen, 50MP triple camera system, and Snapdragon 888 SoC.

9. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

After a heap of leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will finally launch this month. Although we don’t have an exact launch date, the phone was listed in multiple retail stores across the world. The phone is also slated to launch in India this month.

The smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 12MP + 12MP + 8MP triple rear camera system and a 32MP selfie lens. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC for some markets, while the Indian market will get the Exynos 2100 powered model. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

10. Tecno Pova 5G

Recently, Transsion India’s CEO confirmed that the Tecno POVA 5G will be launched in the third or fourth week of January in India. It may debut under ₹20,000(~$269) segment in the country and will have specs like Dimensity 900 SoC and a triple camera system.

The smartphone was recently launched in Nigeria and it has a large 6.95-inch IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP selfie camera. The device features a 50MP + 2MP + AI lens at the rear. One of its highlights will be the big 6,000mAh battery. It will have an 18W fast charging support.

11. Oppo A16K 

Oppo is also expected to launch a budget-centric phone in India. The upcoming Oppo A16k is tipped to launch this month with a 6.52-inch HD+ display. It will have a 13MP + 5MP dual-rear camera and a single selfie lens.

The phone is expected to come powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It will pack a 4,230mAh battery with a 10W charging speed. The phone will run on Android 11 OS out of the box with ColorOS on the top.

Yesterday, tipster Yogesh Brar shared detailed information on the specifications of the Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro smartphones, which are scheduled to debut on Jan. 5 in India. He had also shared the price range of the V23 duo by claiming that the vanilla model will Rs 26,000 (~$349) to Rs 29,000 (~$389), whereas the Pro model will be priced between Rs 37,000 (~$497) and 40,000 (~$537). A few hours later, the tipster shared an update on the pricing of the Vivo V23 and V23 Pro.

The new update reveals that the entire Vivo V23 series will be priced between Rs 30,000 (~$403) and Rs 45,000 (~$604). Probably, this price range does not include the Vivo V23e handset, which is also speculated to launch alongside the V23 and V23 Pro.

The Vivo V23 is now expected to carry a starting price of Rs 31,000 (~$416) or Rs 32,000 (~$430). On the other side, the Vivo V23 Pro model may begin at Rs 40,000 (~$537) or Rs 42,000 (~$577). Both smartphones are likely to come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The V23 and V23 Pro will come in Sunshine Gold (color changing edition) and Stardust Black.

The V23 series’ landing page has been live on Vivo India’s website for a couple of days. Now, its microsite has surfaced on Flipkart. Hence, it appears that the Vivo V23 lineup will be available for purchase through Vivo India’s online store, Flipkart, and offline stores.

It appears that the Vivo V23 Pro will be a rebadged version of China’s Vivo S12 Pro. The vanilla model is likely to debut as India’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 920 chipset.

According to the tipster, the Vivo V23 5G will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The flat-screen will be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It will be India’s first phone with Dimensity 920 chipset. The device will come 8 GB of RAM and UFS 2.2 storage choices such as 128 GB / 2256 GB. It will house a 4,200mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

The front camera setup of the phone will include a 50-mgeapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 105-degree FOV. The front cameras will be coupled with dual-tone flash. Its rear shell has a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.  It will come with Android 12 OS and FunTouch OS 12. The Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a 6.56-inch curved edge AMOLED display that supports FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Dimensity 1200 chipset powers the V23 Pro. It will arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. The device will be equipped with a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The V23 Pro will feature the same dual selfie camera setup that is available on the V23 handset. The Pro model has a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-mgeapixe (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will also boot to FunTouch OS 12 flavored Android 12. It will be priced between Rs 37,000 (~$481) and Rs 40,000 (~$535). The V23 Pro appears to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S12 Pro.

The Vivo V23 Pro will come in two colors such as Sunshine Gold with color changing capabilities and Stardust black. The V23 will also come in the same colors.

We have been hearing more about the vivo V23 series for the past few days. The latest report on these handsets reveals their launch date in India. Let’s take a look at when they will be unveiled in the country.

According to the industry sources of 91Mobiles, the vivo V23 series will launch in India on January 4, 2022. The specific date is mentioned in a poster shared by the sources.

This image also includes a device with two front-facing cameras. The handset in question could be the vivo V23 Pro, which appeared in a teaser video recently. The smartphone is expected to be a tweaked version of the newly launched vivo S12 Pro.

On the other hand, not much is known about the vanilla vivo V23, which is expected to debut alongside the vivo V23 Pro. For now, we can assume it to offer better features than the vivo V23e 5G.

Fo the unaware, neither the vivo V23e nor the vivo V23e 5G is available in India. We are not sure if either of these will be announced with the vivo V23 and vivo V23 Pro on January 4.

There have been some rumors surrounding the soon-to-be-released vivo V23 series and the launch date for the Indian market. Earlier rumors had put a December date for the unveiling of the V23 series, which was later reviewed to January 2022. The rumors surrounded the V23 5G and the V23 Pro. There is now some form of confirmation that indeed, Indian customers should expect the V23 series berthing in the subcontinent in January.

One of the signature features that have been confirmed in the vivo V23 series is the 50MP Eye Autofocus Dual Selfie Camera that will be available in the models for the Indian market. The 50MP dual selfie camera is expressly absent in both the V23e and V23e 5G. The vivo V23 Pro is rumored to be India’s slimmest 3D curve display smartphone at 7.36 mm. There is no word yet on the number of models in the Indian lineup of the vivo V23 series but it is believed to include both the V23 and V23 Pro, as shown from an official vivo teaser in India indicate.

As per the official video teaser, a gold-colored smartphone with a curved screen and three cameras on the rear could be seen. There is no clear indication yet whether the models for the Indian market will be the same with the global models but there will be some changes from the China-only version. We expect the hype to go some notches higher as we inch to the expected January unveiling of the vivo V23 series in India.

Vivo V23 series is expected to launch soon in India. Rumors have it that it may launch on Jan. 5 in India. A teaser video (shown below) appeared during the Pro Kabaddi League match on Star Sports. The commercial revealed the design of the Vivo V23 series of smartphones.

Vivo has already launched the Vivo V23e 4G and V23e 5G smartphone in markets outside India. As far as India is concerned, the V23 lineup is expected to include at least two phones, V23, and V23 Pro. The commercial that has surfaced shows that the V23 series will be available in Sunshine Gold color.

It will sport an ultra-slim design and a curved edge display. In addition, its display will feature a wider notch with dual selfie cameras. The back panel of the device has a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. The design of the V23 series appears to be inspired by the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro handsets that were announced earlier this week in China.

Reports have revealed that the Vivo V23 5G with model number V2130 have been approved by certification platforms such as India’s BIS and Malaysia’s SIRIM. Reports suggest that the V23 5G will be similar to the Vivo V23e 5G, but it will pack better cameras and a chipset.

The Vivo V23 Pro appears to be a tweaked version of the Vivo S12 Pro, which came with specs like a 6.44-inch AMOLED 90Hz display, Dimensity 1200 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 50-megapixel (primary) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) dual selfie cameras, 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple rear cameras, a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It appears that the V23 Pro will have a 64-megapixel primary camera instead of the 108-megapixel snapper. Also, it will be equipped with a color changing back.

Chinese handset maker vivo unveiled the vivo V23e in 4G and 5G variants in November. The rest of the vivo V23 lineup is being rumored to debut soon since then. Ahead of its release, the vanilla vivo V23 5G has now been certified by two major agencies.

The upcoming vivo V23 5G with model number V2130 has received certifications from BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) as well as SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia). This means the smartphone could soon release in India and Malaysia.

According to a report from earlier this month, the vivo V23 5G will be similar to the vivo V23e 5G but with better cameras and a chipset. Unsurprisingly, it will succeed the vivo V21 5G from earlier this year.

There will also be a vivo V23 Pro 5G. This phone was recently spotted on Geekbench featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It will reportedly sport a changeable fluorite glass design. The device is expected to be a tweaked vivo S12 Pro.

On the other hand, we don’t have any further information on the vivo V23 5G. We even don’t know whether it will be available in a 4G version like the vivo v23e.

Having said that, we expect to learn more about the vivo V23 5G and vivo V23 Pro 5G before their official launch in the coming weeks.

Earlier this year, Vivo launched the Vivo V23e in Thailand kickstarting the V23 series. Later, rumours revealed that Vivo may launch the vanilla Vivo V23 in India by the end of this month. However, fresh rumours touted that Vivo will launch the Vivo V23 Pro instead of the V23 in India. Now, the device has passed the Geekbench portal confirming its specs.

The Vivo V23 Pro carries the model number Vivo V2132 and has scored 679 single-core points and 2707 multi-core points. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC clocked at different clock speeds. The first four cores are clocked at 2.00 GHz, the other three cores are clocked at 2.60 GHz, and the last core clocked at 3.00 GHz. It has 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS.

Apart from this, there’s not much to learn as the phone has not passed any other certifications. Regarding its launch, the Vivo V23 Pro is slated to launch on January 4 2022. Initially, Vivo will launch the V23 Pro and it might launch the vanilla model soon after its debut.

Vivo V23e Specifications 

The Vivo V23e sports a 6.44-inch dew-drop display. It is an AMOLED panel with an exact screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It features a triple camera system placed vertically. It has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and lastly a 2MP tertiary lens. Upfront, it has a 44MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the Vivo V23e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 1TB. It packs a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The smartphone boots on Android 11 out of the box and has FunTouch OS on top of it.
