Yesterday, we reported on the potential pricing of the Vivo V23e 5G in India. The smartphone was rumored to launch on February 21, and now, it has officially been confirmed by the Company.

To be exact, the device will debut at 12 PM on February 21 as stated on the Vivo India website. The company has also revealed that the upcoming smartphone will have an Ultra-Slim Glass Design along with a triple camera setup comprising of a primary, a super-wide-angle, and a macro camera. However, as the Vivo V23e is already available in Thailand since November 2021, we know almost all of its specifications and features.

Vivo V23e 5G specifications & features

The Vivo V23e sports a 6.44 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM. For storage, it packs 128GB of internal storage along with memory expansion support of up to 1TB through a microSD card slot. On the front, the smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as a 44-megapixel eye auto-focus selfie camera on a waterdrop notch.

Meanwhile, the rear features a triple camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Other features include Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and GPS. The device runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4,050mAh battery pack that supports 44W fast charging.

A recent report has also revealed that the Vivo V23e will launch in India with a price tag of Rs 25,990 (~$222). This pricing will belong to the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage of the phone. It is unclear whether the V23e 5G will be made available in other variants in India. Previous reports have suggested that the handset may come in three colors such as gradient blue, Midnight Blue, and Sunshine Gold.

Vivo V23e Indian price and release timeline leaked

Ahead of its January 5th launch in the Indian market, leaks have revealed the full specifications and pricing details of the upcoming vivo V23 5G and the vivo V23 Pro 5G smartphones. Now, further leaks suggest that there will be a third device included in this lineup and also hinted to its launch timeline.

According to a report by 91mobiles, vivo will include the V23e variant to their Indian lineup. As you might remember, the vivo V23e first debuted in Thailand as a budget 5G offering. Now, industry sources have revealed that the device will launch in India in February, which is a month after the official release date of the V23 and V23 Pro. Additionally, sources have suggested that the device is expected to be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000.

As the device is already available in Thailand, it is expected to come packing the same specs and features for the Indian variant as well.

Vivo V23e 5G specifications & features

To recall, the vivo v23e 5G features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Internally, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM. It packs 128GB of internal storage and comes with a microSD card slot that allows you to further expand the storage capacity up to 1TB. There’s also an on-screen fingerprint sensor as an additional security measure.

The phone features a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, the device has a 44-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options on the device include Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and GPS. It runs the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own FunTouch OS 12. The device is powered by a 4,050mAh battery that comes with support for 44W fast charging technology.

Vivo V23e launched packing an AMOLED screen, Helio G96, 50MP Selfie cam & more!

After a series of leaks and benchmark appearances, Vivo has officially unveiled the V23e mid-range smartphone for the Vietnamese market. Vivo V23e arrives as the brand’s latest offering under the V series. The device packs a host of impressive features that will surely offer users amazing value for their bucks.

The Vivo V23e sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90.37% screen-to-body ratio. The device uses a waterdrop notch design which houses a stunning 50-megapixel camera. This is perhaps the most spectacular feature onboard the device. The selfie camera comes with autofocus as well as Eye AF which allows the camera to follow the user’s eye to help users stay in focus during photo capture. The device also has a 7.36mm ultra-thin body.

The V23e is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM. As is consistent with Vivo’s recent models, the V23e comes with up to 4GB of extended RAM. The device comes with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and it is expandable via microSD.

At the rear aspect, the Vivo V23e features a rectangular camera module. The module houses a 64-megapixel main camera teamed up with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device crams a 4050mAh battery supported by a stunning 44W fast charging that Vivo claims can charge the device from zero to 69% in just 30 minutes.

In terms of the interface, the V23e runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11 OS. It equally features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other features onboard the device includes Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), dual 4G VoLTE, and GPS/ GLONASS /Beidou.

As for the price, the Vivo V23e is priced at 8,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (~$375). It will be available in Dawn Melodies and Moonlight Dance colors.

Vivo V23e (V2116) hits GeekBench packing an Helio A22 SoC, 8GB RAM

Vivo‘s upcoming smartphone under the V-series has been in the news quite often lately. The model known as Vivo V23e has now appeared on the database of benchmark app GeekBench.The Vivo bears the model number V2116 which has a history dating back to July when it first appeared on the IMEI database listed as Vivo V23e. The V2116 also appeared at Bluetooth SIG in September. That isn’t all, just a few days back, a hands-on video of the model appeared online giving us our first look at the device.

Coming to the GeekBench listing, the device is listed with a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with a staggering 8GB RAM. It will run on the Android 11 operating system which will likely have a touch of Funtouch OS 12. The device polled a total score of 473 points on the single-core test and 1,668 points on the multi-core test. The GeekBench listing, as usual, isn’t generous with details of the model. Also, the specs and Geekbench scores don’t match up so we’ll take this with some doubt.

The earlier leaked video shows the device will pack a triple 64MP camera setup at the rear while the selfie aspect will be piloted by a 50MP front camera. The device will also be powered by a 4,030 mAh battery with 44W charging.
