Vivo V25 Pro will go on sale in India today at midnight via Flipkart. The Vivo smartphone was launched in the country last week. It comes with the same color-changing glass back that was seen on the Vivo V23 Pro. The handset sports features like Dimensity 1300 processor, 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, 4830mAh battery, and more. Let’s have a detailed look at its price, specs, and available offers.

Vivo V25 Pro Price in India, sale Offers

Vivo V25 Pro price in India has been set at Rs. 35,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The device also comes in a 12GB + 256GB storage variant that has a price tag of Rs. 39,999. Vivo V25 Pro will go on sale today at midnight (12 AM) via Flipkart.

Vivo is offering a discount of Rs 3,500 on HDFC Bank Credit Card and Debit transactions during the sale. Moreover, customers purchasing Vivo V25 Pro through Flipkart can also get a Google Nest Hub and a Google Nest Mini at a discounted price of Rs 4,999 and Rs 1,999 respectively.

Vivo V25 Pro Specifications

Vivo V25 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display offering 398ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has a curved panel with a center punched notch for the selfie camera. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, which is not the best you can get in a Rs. 36,000 smartphone. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

As far as cameras are concerned, the Vivo V25 Pro flaunts a triple rear camera sensor with the combination of a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the smartphone offers a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The handset packs a decent 4830mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The device runs on Android 12 on top of FuntouchOS 12.

Vivo V25 Pro with Dimensity 1300 SoC benchmarked on GeekBench

The Vivo V25 Pro is likely to be released in India on August 17. Ahead of the launch, a GeekBench result sheet for the device has appeared online. Although we couldn’t independently verify the listing on GeekBench’s database, the sheet which looks genuine shows the device will pack a Dimensity 1300 process. The details align with those we saw from the Google Play Console listing for the Vivo V25 Pro (V2158).

The listing also shows that the V25 Pro will be available in more than one memory configuration. The model that was benchmarked has 12GB of RAM but the earlier listing was of an 8GB RAM model. Additionally, the smartphone will undoubtedly contain the virtual RAM function that has recently gained in popularity. To better understand how virtual RAM has grown, the vivo Y35 will have the same 8GB virtual RAM capacity as the actual RAM). As expected, the phone’s interface will be provided by Android 12.

The Google Play Console listing equally shows that the vivo V25 Pro will have an FHD+ display resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels. The phone is also confirmed to pack an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Unverified rumors also state that the phone will support 66W rapid charging. The V23 series’ color-changing trick will be repeated on the back.

According to rumors, the vivo V25 Pro will have a triple camera system with a 64MP primary module. A 32MP selfie camera with OIS and EIS, identical to the V21 phones from the previous year, should feature on the front.

The V25 Pro is likely to be priced at less than Rs. 40,000 (~$505). The vanilla vivo V25 (V2202) will employ the slower Dimensity 900 chipset and will be released at the same time.

Vivo V25 Pro India launch date leaks along with sale date

The Vivo V25 series is in the news for the past few days. Some of the features of these handsets have already leaked. Now, a report has even disclosed the possible launch date of the Vivo V25 Pro as well as its sale date.

Vivo S15 Pro

According to a report by 91Mobiles Hindi, the Vivo V25 Pro will launch in India on August 17. The smartphone will go on sale in the country on August 25.

Unfortunately, the publication doesn’t say anything about the Vivo V25. Hence, it’s not sure whether the vanilla model will be unveiled together.

Going by previous leaks and teasers, the Vivo V25 Pro will arrive with color-changing Fluorite AG Glass on its rear, like its predecessor Vivo V23 Pro. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is found inside the OnePlus Nord 2T and the Oppo Reno 8.

Further, the handset will sport an FHD+ curved AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It will house a triple camera system on the back headed by an OIS-assisted 64MP primary shooter. On the front, it will have a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, it will boot Funtouch OS 12.1 based on Android 12. Last but not least, it will carry support for 66W fast wired charging. In a nutshell, the phone will be a tweaked version of the Vivo S15 Pro.

The Vivo V23 Pro is tipped to come in two memory configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base variant could be priced under ₹40,000 ($507).
