The Vivo V27 series is set to launch globally on March 1st. The event will begin at 12 pm IST. The launch event will likely be live-streamed on the brand’s social handles. Going by the teasers, the Vivo V27 series will come with a 120Hz display and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. The upcoming offering is teased to feature a 1/1.56” Sony IMX766V sensor, however, it remains to be seen which V27 model will adopt it. All three devices i.e. the V27, V27 Pro, and V27e are confirmed to support OIS. The Vivo V27 series, most likely the regular and Pro models will retain the colour-changing back panel from its predecessor i.e. the Vivo V25 series.

The Vivo V27, 27 Pro, and 27e are rumoured to be powered by Dimensity 7200, Dimensity 8200, and Helio G99 processors respectively.

The Vivo V27 Pro is rumoured to carry a starting price tag of Rs 40,000 whereas the regular V27 is tipped to be priced at around Rs 35,000.

Now the brand’s India branch has confirmed that the upcoming V-series smartphones will debut in the country on March 1st at 12 pm local time. It’s unclear how many devices will launch but since the company says ‘V-series’, we can expect a standard and Pro variant. The Vivo V27e may arrive at a later date in the country. Additionally, Flipkart has put up a microsite of the V27 series confirming the smartphone’s availability on the e-commerce platform.

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V27 series in India. According to rumors so far, the V27 Pro will be the first device to launch in the lineup, with the V27 and V27e following later. The brand has started teasing the device, but the launch date is still kept under wraps.

A Flipkart ad on Google has preemptively leaked the launch date of the Vivo V27 series in India. According to a screenshot grabbed by 91mobiles, the V27 series will be launching on March 1. The report also claims that this launch date has been independently verified to be correct.

Additionally, live shots of the V27 Pro model have surfaced online. YouTuber AndroWide has tweeted out a couple of images of the V27 Pro revealing that it will have a color-changing back. Going by the images, the device will have a pleasant light blue color option which will change into a darker shade of blue once it is exposed to sunlight. This likely means that other color options might also have this feature.

We already know that the Vivo V27 Pro is a rebranded Vivo S16 Pro that was launched last year in China. The Mint color option of the S16 Pro could come to India as well. The Mint color model changes colors to a deep shade of Aqua once exposed to sunlight. Other than that, we can also expect a glittery black option to also launch in India.

Vivo has started teasing the upcoming launch of the Vivo V27 series smartphones in India. A recent leak suggests that we could expect the V27 Pro model to launch on February 25. Now, a new report has revealed the pricing of this device.

Pricebaba, citing industry sources has reported that the Vivo V27 Pro will have a box price of Rs 41,999. We know that the price on the box is usually a fair bit higher than the retail price of the device, so we can expect it to be priced below Rs 40,000 when it launches.

The Vivo V27 Pro will be offered in two storage options, 128GB and 256GB, both of which will have 8GB of RAM. It will be available in Magic Blue and Noble Black color choices. We already know that the Vivo V27 Pro is a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Vivo S16 Pro, so we already know about the other specifications.

Vivo V27 Pro specs

The Vivo V27 Pro is highly anticipated to have a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a high resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display will also feature a 360Hz touch sampling rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Powering the phone will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, and it will come with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging will also be included.

The phone is expected to have a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfie lovers, there will be a 50MP front-facing camera. Just recently, we had reported on the Vivo V27 series‘ possible launch timeline. Now, the key specifications of this smartphone lineup has been leaked. So here are all we know about the upcoming V25 series successor.

Based on a new report, sources close to the matter have revealed that the company is bringing various upgrades to its new V27 series. This includes updates to its camera system as well as internal hardware. From what we know so far, the Vivo V27 will sport a curved display while the Pro variant will just have curved edges. Although, a new report has revealed that both models will be equipped with a high end Sony camera for its primary sensor on the rear.

This will enable the devices to offer an improved photography experience over its predecessor along with improvements to its low light performance. The sources also stated that the upcoming V27 lineup will be powered by MediaTek processors. While the chipset on the base model is unknown, the Pro variant will feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is a flagship grade chip. As Vivo prepares for the Vivo X90 series launch in the global market, news has emerged that the brand could also launch the Vivo S27 series soon. Unlike the flagship X90 series, the S27 series will likely range from mid-range to premium mid-range.

This information comes via a leak from tipster Debayan Roy. In a tweet, the tipster reveals that the Vivo V27 series will launch in India around Mid to End of February. The tipster also reveals that the devices in the Vivo V27 series will be very similar to the Vivo S16 series.

For those unaware, the Vivo S16 series launched in December in the Chinese market. The series consists of three smartphones – Vivo S16e, Vivo S16, and Vivo S16 Pro. The Vivo S15 series was introduced as the Vivo V25 in the Indian market the previous year. Thus the company might do the same with the upcoming V27 series. The number of devices the company will release under the V27 series is unclear, though. Let’s quickly review the features of the Vivo S16 series.

The Exynos 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core CPUs power the Vivo S16e, S16, and S16 Pro, respectively. On the S16 Pro, Vivo uses up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The S16 and S16e, however, provide up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. All three devices use UFS 3.1 storage and have Android 13 pre-installed. The smartphones in the Vivo S16 series feature a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging capability.

The smartphones in the Vivo S16 all feature a triple camera setup on the back. While the Vivo S16 depends on a 64MP main camera, the Vivo S16 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Also, the S16e has a 50MP main camera. A 50MP front camera is available on the Vivo S16 and S16 Pro for selfies and video calls. The Vivo S16e, on the other hand, depends on a 16MP front camera.
