Vivo is adding another entry to its V60 lineup, but the new Vivo V60 Lite feels very familiar. That’s because this isn’t an entirely new device. The phone was first launched back in September last year. Now, it’s back with a small change.

Vivo has quietly listed a refreshed version of the V60 Lite in Panama, and at first glance, it looks almost identical to the original model. The biggest difference, however, is inside. 

The new Vivo V60 Lite (model V2549) is the first device to ship with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. It replaces the older Snapdragon 685 found in the previous 4G edition.

Everything else appears largely unchanged.

The V60 Lite continues to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo is keeping the optical in-display fingerprint scanner and the 32-megapixel front camera intact. Around the back, there’s the same dual-camera setup: a 50-megapixel main sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The device packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Vivo claims the phone can go from nearly empty to fully charged in under an hour. There’s also 6W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to top up smaller devices if needed.

On the software side, the phone runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. It carries IP65 certification for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H durability compliance.

For context, the earlier V60 Lite 4G variant launched in Turkey shortly after the V60 Lite 5G debuted in Taiwan. That version used the Snapdragon 685 chipset and came with 8GB of RAM (plus virtual RAM expansion) and 256GB of internal storage, without a microSD slot.

The Panama listing confirms black and blue color options for the refreshed model, though pricing details haven’t been disclosed yet.

Vivo has officially launched the V60 Lite 5G in Taiwan as a mid-range offering in the V60 series lineup. Positioned below the standard Vivo V60, the Lite model brings a large AMOLED display, the brand-new Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, a slim IP65-rated body, and a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging. Vivo V60 Lite 5G specifications and features

The Vivo V60 Lite 5G features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. On the front, a 32-megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls.

On the back, the V60 Lite comes equipped with a dual rear setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 on top.

Powering the device is the new MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, which has just gone official. For those unfamiliar, it is essentially identical in core specifications to the Dimensity 7300. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB RAM, up to 12GB of vritual RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.

The V60 Lite 5G also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, NFC, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C connectivity. The device carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, measures 7.59mm/7.69mm in thickness depending on the color variant and weighs 194 grams.

Vivo V60 Lite 5G price and availability

The Vivo V60 Lite 5G is priced at NTD 13,990 (~$460) for the 8GB+256GB variant and NTD 14,990 (~$495) for the 12GB+256GB model. When it comes to color options, the V60 Lite can be bought in shades like Vitality Pink, Titanium Mist Blue, and Midnight Black.

Additionally, a 4G variant powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset is expected to debut soon with the same specifications as the 5G version.

Vivo has just launched the Vivo V60 in some Asian markets. Reports have revealed that the brand is now working on the 4G and 5G versions of the Vivo V60 Lite. These variants are said to have the V2530 and V2529 model numbers. Both devices have appeared on Geekbench, revealing the chipsets powering them.

As can be seen above, the Vivo V2530 and V2529 phones have surfaced on Geekbench. The V2530 variant, which is expected to hit the market as the Vivo V60 Lite (4G), will feature a Qualcomm chip with four cores clocked at 1.90GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and an Adreno 610 GPU. These details suggest that the device could be equipped with the Snapdragon 685 SoC.

The Vivo V60 Lite (4G) has 8GB of RAM and Android 15. In the single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 467 and 1536 points, respectively. So far, the device has received certifications from platforms such as SDPPI (Indonesia), CQC (China), and EEC (Europe). The CQC listing has revealed that the device will support 90W fast charging. Its other specifications are still under wraps.

Vivo V60 Lite 5G Geekbench listing

The Vivo V60 Lite 5G, which bears the V2529 model number, is powered by a MediaTek chipset. The SoC includes four cores clocked at 2.0GHz, four cores at 2.50GHz, and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This indicates that the device is equipped with the Dimensity 7300.

The V60 Lite 5G also features 8GB of RAM and Android 15. It scored 939 and 2527 points on the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The device has received multiple certifications, such as SIRIM (Malaysia), EEC (Europe), and Nemko, but none of these listings have revealed anything further about the device’s specifications.

Vivo V60 Lite bags certifications

The upcoming Vivo V60 Lite has appeared on multiple certification platforms, including SDPPI (Indonesia), CQC (China), and EEC (Europe), under the model number V2530. The SDPPI listing confirms the device’s final marketing name, while the CQC certification suggests it will support 90W fast charging.

It is not yet clear whether the V60 Lite bearing the V2530 model number will be a 4G or 5G model, but more details are expected to surface in the coming weeks.

Vivo V50 Lite specifications

For reference, the Vivo V50 Lite features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a 32-megapixel front camera and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

The 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a dual-camera setup with 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The 5G version uses the Dimensity 6300 SoC, offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, and features a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.
