<p>Recent reports indicate that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina..com/category/vivo">Vivo</a> V70 series will feature multiple models. While there is no mention of a “Pro” version this time, the brand is reportedly planning a four-device lineup consisting of the Vivo V70, V70 Elite, V70 Lite, and V70 FE.</p>

<p>The series is set to launch in various global markets, though availability is likely to vary by region. The standard V70 has already received regulatory approval in several countries, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/10/vivo-v70-t5x-bis-certification-india-launch/">including India</a>. In a further development, the V70 Elite 5G has also been approved in India, confirming that this model is also headed to the Indian market.</p>

<h3><strong>Four upcoming Vivo phones receive BIS certification</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="137" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-1024x137.png?x10805" alt="Upcoming Vivo phones certiifed by India's BIS" class="wp-image-721170" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-1024x137.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-300x40.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-768x103.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-1536x206.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-696x93.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS-1068x143.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Upcoming-Vivo-phones-certiifed-by-Indias-BIS.png 1829w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Upcoming Vivo phones certified by India&#8217;s BIS</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The above screenshot shows that four upcoming Vivo smartphones, bearing model numbers V2544, V2548, V2538, and V2545, have been approved by India’s BIS authority. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/25/vivo-v70-multiple-certifications-launch-imminent/">Several other certifications</a> have already revealed that the V2538 will be marketed as the Vivo V70.</p>

<p>As for the other devices, previous IMEI database listings have revealed that the V2544, V2548, and V2545 will be called the Vivo Y51 5G, Vivo V70 Elite 5G, and Vivo T5x 5G, respectively. Unfortunately, the specifications of these phones remain under wraps.</p>

<p>The inclusion of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/12/vivo-v70-series-will-not-have-any-4g-models-elite-and-fe-are-joining-the-line/">“Elite” branding</a> suggests that this model will be positioned above the V70, which is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/20/vivo-v70-v70-elite-x200t-price-leak/">recent leak claimed</a> that while the V70 may be priced at around Rs 45,000 (~$500), the V70 Elite could cost approximately Rs 50,000 (~$555). As far as the V70 Lite and V70 FE, these devices may not be released in India.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo S50 launch" class="wp-image-719445" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-768x439.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-696x398.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-735x420.jpg 735w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo S50</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It would not be surprising if the Vivo V70 Elite turns out to be a rebranded version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s50">Vivo S50</a>, which recently debuted in China. The S50 features a 6.59-inch OLED LTPS 1.5K 120Hz display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging. For imaging, it offers a 50-megapixel front camera, an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS support.</p>

<p><strong>Update</strong>: The updated Bluetooth SIG listing for V2549 reveals the Vivo V60 Lite moniker. So, there is no confirmation on the existence of the V70 Lite.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="258" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9-1024x258.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-722005" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9-1024x258.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9-300x76.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9-768x193.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9-696x175.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-9.png 1040w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Original story continues&#8230;</strong></p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo">Vivo</a> has just launched the Vivo V60 Lite in 5G and 4G versions in some markets. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch the Vivo V60e in October. While there is no clarity on whether the V60 series will have more models, a new development reveals that the brand is already working on the Vivo V70 series. The first V70 model has also surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG certification database, indicating that its launch may not be far away.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo V70 Lite Bluetooth SIG certified</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="455" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-1024x455.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-709300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-1024x455.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-300x133.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-768x341.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-1536x682.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-696x309.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-1068x474.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7-946x420.png 946w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-7.png 1692w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70 Lite 4G Bluetooth SIG certified</figcaption></figure>

<p>As can be seen, the Vivo V70 Lite, which bears the model number V2549, has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database. This is not the first time that the device has been spotted. In August, the V2549 was spotted at the FCC certification, revealing a few details about its specifications.</p>

<p>While the Bluetooth SIG listing has not revealed the Vivo V70 Lite’s specifications, the FCC appearance revealed that it is a 4G LTE device with support for 2.4GHz + 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of built-in storage.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-1024x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo V60 Lite 4G" class="wp-image-708786" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/image-3-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V60 Lite 4G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Vivo unveiled the Snapdragon 685-powered <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v60-lite-4g/">Vivo V60 Lite 4G</a> in some markets, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/09/28/vivo-v60-lite-4g-launched-turkey/">including Turkey</a>. Therefore, it may take a few more months for the V70 Lite to go official. Considering that the 4G version has been confirmed, it will also arrive in a 5G option.</p>

<p>Apart from the Vivo V70 Lite, the brand is also said to be working on the Vivo V70 with model number V2538. Likely, these Vivo V70 series devices may debut in the first quarter of 2026.</p>
