<p>The Vivo V70 is one of the most popular premium mid-range smartphones right now, offering an excellent triple camera setup, a bright screen, and reliable performance. It also features a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Overall, it’s a solid phone in the INR 50-60K price segment. However, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> is far from being the only showstopper in this price segment. There are compelling options that can go head-to-head with this Vivo phone.</p>

<h2>5 Excellent alternatives to Vivo V70</h2>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image td-caption-align-center"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 14 Pro" class="wp-image-694649" width="420" height="420" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Reno-14-Pro-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 14 Pro</figcaption></figure></div></a></div>

<h3><strong>1. Oppo Reno 14 Pro</strong></h3>

<p><strong>Price:</strong> INR 54,999 (<a href="https://www.flipkart.com/oppo-reno14-pro-5g-titanium-grey-256-gb/p/itm17be6c392ab4c" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check the latest price</a>)</p>

<p>The Oppo Reno 14 Pro features a more robust camera than the Vivo V70. Its triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with a higher 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The Oppo phone primarily benefits from a much higher resolution ultrawide camera and better optical zoom.</p>

<p>The Reno 14 Pro also delivers faster performance as the Dimensity 8450 chipset outperforms the Vivo V70’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The smartphone also features a larger screen and supports 50W wireless charging.</p>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>Oppo Reno 14 Pro specs:</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>Display:</strong> 6.83-inch AMOLED, 1272 x 2800 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+</li><li><strong>Processor:</strong> MediaTek Dimensity 8450 (4 nm)</li><li><strong>Software:</strong> Android 15, up to four major Android upgrades</li><li><strong>Rear camera:</strong> 50MP (wide) + 50MP (periscope telephoto, 3.5x optical zoom) + 50MP (120˚ ultrawide)</li><li><strong>Selfie camera:</strong> 50MP</li><li><strong>Battery:</strong> 6200mAh</li><li>Charging: 80W (wired), 50W (wireless)</li><li><strong>Connectivity:</strong> Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0</li></ul>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image td-caption-align-center"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X200T" class="wp-image-723752" width="581" height="386" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-X200T-Black-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px" /><figcaption>Vivo X200T</figcaption></figure></div></a></div>

<h3><strong>2. Vivo X200T</strong></h3>

<p><strong>Price:</strong> INR 59,999 (<a href="https://www.flipkart.com/vivo-x200t-stellar-black-256-gb/p/itm1b8452d68859b?pid=MOBHJK5MBRDS3GUQ&amp;marketplace=FLIPKART&amp;lid=LSTMOBHJK5MBRDS3GUQ96SN9X&amp;hl_lid=LSTMOBHJK5MBRDS3GUQ2MIJWG&amp;pageUID=1777015683756" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check the latest price</a>)</p>

<p>The Vivo X200T has an upper hand in almost every aspect compared to the Vivo V70. However, it’s priced a little higher at INR 59,999, but with ongoing offers, you can easily bring the price down to around INR 52,000, making it a no-brainer choice over the V70.</p>

<p>The smartphone features a much better rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide unit with a wider field of view. It’s been developed in partnership with Zeiss to deliver more accurate colors, optical precision, and specialized portrait effects.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the Vivo X200T delivers significantly higher performance and power efficiency, thanks to the powerful Dimensity 9400 Plus SoC. The device also excels in screen size and Wi-Fi capabilities, and it supports wireless charging. Plus, the X200T also promises an additional major OS upgrade.</p>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>Vivo X200T specs:</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>Display:</strong> 6.67-inch AMOLED, 1260 x 2800 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 5000nits (peak brightness)</li><li><strong>Processor:</strong> MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (3 nm)</li><li><strong>Software:</strong> Android 16, up to five major Android upgrades</li><li><strong>Rear camera:</strong> 50MP (wide) + 50MP (periscope telephoto, 3x optical zoom) + 50MP (119˚ ultrawide)</li><li><strong>Selfie camera:</strong> 32MP</li><li><strong>Battery:</strong> 6200mAh</li><li>Charging: 90W (wired), 40W (wireless)</li><li><strong>Connectivity:</strong> Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0</li></ul>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-15R.webp?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image td-caption-align-center"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-15R.webp?x44794" alt="OnePlus 15R" class="wp-image-735055" width="466" height="460" /><figcaption>OnePlus 15R</figcaption></figure></div></a></div>

<h3><strong>3. OnePlus 15R</strong></h3>

<p><strong>Price:</strong> INR 50,499 (<a href="https://www.amazon.in/OnePlus-Charcoal-Snapdragon%C2%AE-Personalised-Game-Changing/dp/B0FZSWZZW2?th=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check the latest price</a>)</p>

<p>If performance and battery backup are your primary concerns, the OnePlus 15R delivers big. It’s equipped with a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that outperforms the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the Vivo V70 by a significant margin. Plus, its Oryon cores are also more power efficient.</p>

<p>The bigger screen on the OnePlus 15R makes it more appealing for media consumption, and to ensure it lasts longer, there’s a massive 7,400mAh battery beneath, which can easily last the entire day, even on heavy usage. The camera remains a weak link, as the device lacks a telephoto shooter.</p>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>OnePlus 15R specs:</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>Display:</strong> 6.83-inch AMOLED, 1272 x 2800 pixels, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 3600nits (peak brightness)</li><li><strong>Processor:</strong> Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3 nm)</li><li><strong>Software:</strong> Android 16, up to four major Android upgrades</li><li><strong>Rear camera:</strong> 50MP (wide) + 8MP (112˚ ultrawide)</li><li><strong>Selfie camera:</strong> 32MP</li><li><strong>Battery:</strong> 7400mAh</li><li>Charging: 80W (wired)</li><li><strong>Connectivity:</strong> Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0</li></ul>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-15R-Dark-Knight-1024x1024.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image td-caption-align-center"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/iQOO-15R-Dark-Knight-1024x1024.png?x44794" alt="iQOO 15R - Dark Knight" class="wp-image-728098" width="476" height="472" /><figcaption>iQOO 15R</figcaption></figure></div></a></div>

<h3><strong>4. iQOO 15R</strong></h3>

<p><strong>Price:</strong> INR 46,999 (<a href="https://www.amazon.in/iQOO-Snapdragon%C2%AE-Processor-Slimmest-Smartphone/dp/B0GL8NJDG5?th=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check the latest price</a>)</p>

<p>iQOO smartphones are designed to unlock maximum performance, and the iQOO 15R is no different. It’s likely to perform better than the OnePlus 15R, even though both phones share the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Obviously, both phones deliver superior performance to the Vivo V70.</p>

<p>The iQOO 15R packs a 7,600 mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging, both of which are better than the V70. The inclusion of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v6.0 makes it more future-proof for connectivity, but, like the OnePlus 15R, the camera may be underwhelming. It also lacks a telephoto shooter, and the selfie camera has a lower resolution, too.</p>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>iQOO 15R specs:</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>Display:</strong> 6.59-inch AMOLED, 1260 x 2750 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 5000nits (peak brightness)</li><li><strong>Processor:</strong> Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3 nm)</li><li><strong>Software:</strong> Android 16, up to four major Android upgrades</li><li><strong>Rear camera:</strong> 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide)</li><li><strong>Selfie camera:</strong> 32MP</li><li><strong>Battery:</strong> 7600mAh</li><li>Charging: 100W (wired)</li><li><strong>Connectivity:</strong> Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0</li></ul>

<h3><strong>5. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE</strong></h3>

<p><strong>Price:</strong> INR 48,999 (<a href="https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-Smartphone-JetBlack-Storage-ProVisual/dp/B0FNMQW9HW?th=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check the latest price</a>)</p>

<p>While the Galaxy S25 FE’s spec sheet doesn’t outperform the Vivo V70’s, the smartphone maintains an edge in several areas that matter. Also, it’s the only solid non-Chinese device in this price segment.</p>

<p>Unlike the Vivo V70, the Galaxy S25 FE has an LTPO panel that can save some power, and the screen is also bigger. Software is a key advantage of the Galaxy device, as it promises three additional major OS upgrades, while also offering a cleaner OS experience. Performance-wise, the Samsung phone has an edge as the Exynos 2400 is snappier than the 7 Gen 4 on the Vivo V70.</p>

<p>The S25 FE features three rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. The selfie camera is 12MP. The battery capacity is smaller, but it&#8217;s offset by adding support for wireless charging.</p>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>Samsung Galaxy S25 FE specs:</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>Display:</strong> 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X, 1080 x 2340 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1900nits (peak brightness)</li><li><strong>Processor:</strong> Samsung Exynos 2400 (4 nm)</li><li><strong>Software:</strong> Android 16, up to seven major Android upgrades</li><li><strong>Rear camera:</strong> 50MP (wide) + 8MP (telephoto, 3x optical zoom) + 12MP (123˚ ultrawide)</li><li><strong>Selfie camera:</strong> 12MP</li><li><strong>Battery:</strong> 4900mAh</li><li>Charging: 45W (wired), 15W (wireless)</li><li><strong>Connectivity:</strong> Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2</li></ul>

<p>The Vivo V70 FE has largely been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/23/vivo-v70-fe-leaks-in-full-with-7000mah-battery-6-years-of-update-promise-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">revealed</a> ahead of its official debut, thanks to a steady stream of leaks. Now, Vivo has confirmed it’ll launch the phone in Indonesia on March 9. Joining it is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/21/vivo-v70-vs-vivo-v70-elite-comparison-specs-camera-performance-price-amazon-discounts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a>, which has already debuted in India.</p>

<p>Vivo has also started teasing key details ahead of the event. The company confirmed that the V70 FE will ship with a dual rear camera system led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Teaser images also show off the phone’s slim display bezels and three color options—Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver. </p>

<h2><strong>Vivo V70 FE Specifications (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>Alongside the 200MP main sensor sits an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera for broader scenes. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera designed for selfies and video calls.</p>

<p>The V70 FE is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. If you notice, the screen also has a gentle curve on the side. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-FE-Design-and-Specs-Leaks.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, built on a 4nm manufacturing process. It’s paired with multiple memory options: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, 12GB with 256GB, and 8GB with 512GB.</p>

<p>The phone runs on OriginOS 6 out of the box. Vivo says it will support the device with up to six years of system updates and promises five years of smooth performance.</p>

<p>The V70 FE packs a large 7,000mAh “BlueVolt” battery, paired with 90W FlashCharge support for faster top-ups.</p>

<p>Rounding out the spec sheet are dual stereo speakers and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 features a flat-edge design with an aerospace-grade metal frame. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo</a> has focused on making the phone ergonomic with its Golden Grip size, which ensures comfortable one-handed use. The phone comes in color options like Passion Red, Lemon Yellow, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black.</p>

<p>The Realme 16 Pro+ uses a unique Urban Wild design with a back panel made of bio-based organic silicone. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme</a> offers a wheat-grain texture on its Camellia Pink variant, which is exclusive to India. Other options include Master Gold and Master Grey.</p>

<p>The Vivo V70 has a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The Realme 16 Pro+ offers a slightly larger 6.8-inch flat 1.5K OLED display with a faster 144Hz refresh rate. The Realme display reaches up to 6500 nits peak brightness, making it better for outdoor use.</p>

<p>While both displays are HDR10+ certified, Realme’s higher refresh rate and brighter screen give it an edge in this category.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 and Realme 16 Pro+ are both powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. While both devices feature LPDDR5X RAM, the Vivo V70 uses UFS 4.1 storage, offering faster read and write speeds compared to the UFS 3.1 storage in the Realme 16 Pro+.</p>

<p>Both phones feature vapor chamber cooling systems and perform well for gaming and heavy tasks. Vivo includes 4D game vibration with an X-axis linear motor for an immersive gaming experience, while Realme adds AI Gaming Coach features, which provide useful insights and tools for gamers.</p>

<p>The performance is nearly identical, but the V70 takes the lead in this round due to its inclusion of UFS 4.1 storage.</p>

<h3><strong>Cameras</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 boasts a Zeiss-engineered triple camera setup. It includes a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.</p>

<p>The Realme 16 Pro+ uses a 200MP primary camera featuring a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> HP5 sensor. It also includes a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with up to 120x digital zoom, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.</p>

<p>Realme offers stronger on-paper camera hardware, but Vivo may deliver more consistent real-world results, especially in low-light scenes and color accuracy.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery and Charging</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 packs a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The Realme 16 Pro+ has a larger 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Both phones offer excellent battery life and quick charging speeds.</p>

<h3><strong>Software and Others</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, while the Realme 16 Pro+ runs Realme UI 7.0. Vivo promises four major OS updates and six years of security patches, whereas Realme offers three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches.</p>

<p>The Vivo V70 is equipped with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which offers faster and more accurate recognition, even with wet or oily fingers. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses an optical fingerprint sensor, which is reliable but not as advanced as Vivo’s ultrasonic solution.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 is priced at ₹45,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹49,999.</p>

<p>The Realme 16 Pro+ initially launched at ₹39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, but a recent price hike has raised the starting price to ₹43,999.</p>

<h3><strong>Verdict: Which Should You Buy?</strong></h3>

<p>To be honest, both the Vivo V70 and Realme 16 Pro+ are extremely competitive at their respective price points. Both devices offer balanced performance and well-rounded camera setups, making it difficult to choose between them. However, if you ask me, I would pick the Vivo V70 for its strength in camera tuning. While the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a 200MP sensor, Vivo’s expertise in camera optimization gives it a slight edge, especially in consistency and low-light performance.</p>

<p>When it comes to gaming, both phones are solid performers, but Realme offers a slight advantage with its gaming-focused features, such as AI Gaming Coach. If you’re someone who’s nitpicky about software tools and gaming-specific specs, Realme might be the better option for you.</p>

<p>Ultimately, it all comes down to pricing. If we compare the two in terms of value for money, Realme is the clear winner here, offering many flagship-level features at a more affordable price.</p>

<p>Compact smartphones have been growing in popularity, with more brands launching their own small devices. Initially, most of these new releases were a part of the premium lineup. But now, Oppo and Vivo have just released two phones that are a part of their sub-flagship lineup, targeting users who want near flagship-level features in sleek, easy-to-hold designs without the bulk of larger phones. So in this comparison, we’ll break down the key differences between the Vivo V70 and Oppo Reno 15 to help you decide which deserves your attention this year.</p>

<h3>Design &amp; Display</h3>

<p>Both the Vivo V70 and Oppo Reno 15 lean into refined aesthetics, opting for minimalist designs with slim bodies and compact form factors. The duo features premium materials like aluminum frames and a glass rear panel. But while the Vivo V70 emphasizes a modern and minimalistic design, the Reno 15 pairs an elegant look with shiny new designs, especially in the Glacier White and Aurora Blue color variants.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Oppo-Reno-15-Global-1.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 15 (Global)" class="wp-image-721880" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Oppo-Reno-15-Global-1.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Oppo-Reno-15-Global-1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Oppo-Reno-15-Global-1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Oppo-Reno-15-Global-1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 15</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>In terms of display specs, both phones deliver similar visual experiences, with sharp resolutions and smooth refresh rates that make everyday interactions fluid and responsive. So you get a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and solid brightness levels.</p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Reno15-Aurora-Blue-512x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Reno15 Aurora Blue" class="wp-image-720466" width="-132" height="-264" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Reno15-Aurora-Blue-512x1024.jpg 512w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Reno15-Aurora-Blue-150x300.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Reno15-Aurora-Blue-210x420.jpg 210w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Reno15-Aurora-Blue.jpg 625w" sizes="(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 15 &#8211; Aurora Blue</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Just like with the design and display, Oppo and Vivo are basically tied in terms of performance as well. The two phones are equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Although the Vivo V70 maxes out at 256GB for storage, the Reno 15 has a more expensive 512GB variant. Under the hood, a massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers the Vivo V70 and Oppo Reno 15. Vivo has an edge with a faster 90W wired fast charging support. But this is only marginally faster than the 80W charging support on the Reno 15. </p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>You get a versatile camera system on Oppo and Vivo, although there are a few differences. The main camera on the Reno 15 is a 50MP main shooter, which is coupled with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with a 3.5x optical zoom. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="800" height="704" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo V70 vs Oppo Reno 15" class="wp-image-727567" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-300x264.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-768x676.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-696x612.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-477x420.jpg 477w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The primary camera on the Vivo V70 is a 50MP sensor, with a same sensor size as the Reno 15. The tiny 8MP ultra wide angle lens returns here as well. But a big advantage is with the 50MP periscope telephoto shooter that has a 3x optical zoom and a larger sensor size. This should translate to better performance in lowlight scenes. </p>

<p>Furthermore, the tuning from Zeiss should offer another advantage in the shooting experience, thanks to various filters and more. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP camera on both devices, but the V70&#8217;s front camera gets autofocus support as well.</p>

<h3>Software &amp; Ecosystem</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite" class="wp-image-726258" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Vivo-V70-and-V70-Elite.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In 2026, Vivo made the switch to OriginOS 6 that made its software experience more refined and modern. It has great customization options, a cleaner look, and various AI powered tools. But ColorOS 16 on the Reno 15 is one of the best Android skins out there. Despite being on the same Android 16 platform, the latter brings a bunch of thoughtful features and a UI that could appeal to fans of iPhones and iOS. </p>

<h3>Which One Should You Pick?</h3>

<p>Looking at their competitive specs and features on offer, picking between the two devices isn&#8217;t so easy. The starting price tag of the Vivo V70 and Oppo Reno 15 is Rs 45,999 for the same 8GB + 256GB base configuration. But there are a few things to consider.</p>

<p><strong>Choose the Vivo V70 if:</strong></p>

<ul><li>You prioritise camera performance, especially in varied lighting conditions.</li><li>You want strong low-light imaging and refined colour output.</li><li>You prefer a minimalistic design.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Choose the Oppo Reno 15 if:</strong></p>

<ul><li>You prefer a slightly cleaner software experience with thoughtful refinements.</li><li>You enjoy stylish UI flourishes and additional customisation features.</li><li>You want a more unique design.</li></ul>

<p>So the difference here basically boils down to the design, software, and camera. Meaning, the choice you make, depends on your priorities.</p>

<h2>ZEISS Camera System with Multi-Focal Portrait</h2>

<p>The main highlight is the ZEISS co-engineered camera system. Both devices include a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor with NICE 2.0 Lite processing. It supports up to 10x zoom and is paired with a large 1.3cm sensor for better low-light shots and more detail. The primary camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-700V sensor with optical image stabilization for sharper photos and smoother videos in different lighting conditions. On the front, both phones feature a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera with autofocus and a 92-degree field of view.</p>

<p>The phones include several AI photography tools designed for everyday use. India-exclusive AI Holi Portrait maintains natural skin tones in color-heavy scenes. AI Magic Weather can change skies with effects like morning glow, clear sky, evening glow, and twilight. AI Floral Blessing adds animated flower petals to portraits. It supports up to 90fps gaming. The standard V70 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with 27 percent faster CPU performance, 30 percent better GPU performance, and 26 percent higher gaming efficiency compared to the previous generation. Both phones use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. A 4200mm² vapor chamber cooling system helps maintain stable performance. The Elite version also includes an X-axis linear motor and 4D gaming vibration for better haptic feedback.</p>

<h2>Battery, Durability, and Security</h2>

<p>Both devices have a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W FlashCharge support. They also come with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, allowing submersion up to 1.5 meters for 120 minutes. A 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner provides faster unlocking even with wet fingers and adds anti-spoofing protection.</p>

<h2>Display and Design</h2>

<p>The display on both phones is a 6.59 inch 1.5K OLED panel with a narrow 0.125cm bezel, peak brightness of 5000 nits, SGS low blue light certification, and 100 percent P3 color gamut. The Elite model adds 3D Spatial Effect Wallpaper that reacts to movement. Both devices include Flip Cards, which create visual effects using gyroscope motion.</p>

<h2>Software</h2>

<p>The phones run OriginOS 6 with features like AI Creation, AI Captions for meeting transcription, Origin Island drag and drop multitasking, One-Tap Transfer for cross-device sharing, and Vivo Office Kit for workflow integration. Private Space provides secure storage. Gemini Assistant with Google is also included. Vivo promises four generations of Android updates and six years of security updates.</p>

<p>Major smartphone brands are lined up to unveil their exciting smartphones in February 2026. Apple could also unveil the iPhone 17e in the same month.</p>

<p>If you’re planning an upgrade, these upcoming smartphones are worth paying attention to. <h3>1. Samsung Galaxy S26 series</h3>

<p><strong>Launch date:</strong> February 25, 2026 (expected)</p>

<p>This is one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2026. While the official launch date is still under wraps, strong leaks suggest a February 25 launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event.</p>

<p>The company will unveil the main trio at the upcoming event: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The remaining models, such as the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 FE, if planned, may launch later this year.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-709900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Galaxy S26 Ultra color options (leaked image)</figcaption></figure></a></div>

<p>Based on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s26/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">past leaks</a>, we aren’t expecting significant upgrades to the Galaxy S26 series, but refinements across display, camera hardware, and bigger batteries. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will reportedly feature the Exynos 2600 in some markets, including India, while the S26 Ultra will only come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. These will be the first phones to run One UI 8.5 software, based on Android 16.</p>

<h3>2. iQOO 15 Ultra, 15R</h3>

<ul><li><strong>Launch date (iQOO 15 Ultra):</strong> February 4, 2026 — China</li><li><strong>Launch date (iQOO 15R):</strong> February 24, 2026 — India</li></ul>

<p>iQOO will unveil its top-tier <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-15-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO 15 Ultra</a> in China in the first week of February. The phone is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a large LTPO AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, and three 50MP sensors on the back. It could house a 7,400mAh battery capacity with 100W wireless charging support. Some leaks say the wired charging speed could be up to 200W.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="iQOO 15R" class="wp-image-724885" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO 15R</figcaption></figure></a></div>

<p>The leaked spec sheet for the iQOO 15 Ultra sounds pretty powerful, so I’m excited to see how it performs in real life. After this launch, we’ll see the brand unveil the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-15r/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO 15R</a> in India, a premium mid-range phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This phone could offer an even larger battery at 7,600 mAh with 100W fast charging support.</p>

<h3>3. Vivo V70 series</h3>

<p><strong>Launch date:</strong> Mid-February (expected)</p>

<p>The Vivo V70 series is likely to launch in India next month, comprising two models: the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-v70-elite/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70 Elite</a>. The latter has also recently been listed on India’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/28/vivo-v70-elite-5g-bis-certification-india-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website</a>, which usually indicates that a launch isn’t far off.</p>

<p>Ahead of the launch, a report has revealed the design and full specifications of both devices.</p>

<h2><strong>Vivo V70 / V70 Elite Specifications (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>The report claims both the V70 and V70 Elite feature a squircle camera island on the back with three lenses arranged in an iPhone-like symmetry. On the front, the phones are said to have a small punch-hole cutout with minimal bezels all around.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-724623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Elite-Design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>As for the colors, the Vivo V70 is said to be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the Elite variant could come in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black.</p>

<p>The two phones will also have different processors. The V70 Elite is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/26/snapdragon-8s-gen-3-antutu-geekbench-score/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8s Gen 3</a> chipset. The standard model, on the other hand, is expected to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/05/15/snapdragon-7-gen-4-mobile-platform-launched/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 7 Gen 4</a>.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, both phones are expected to sport a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-724624" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Vivo-V70-Design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>In terms of cameras, both models are said to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Zeiss-branded telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. AI-backed software processing is expected to offer features such as AI Holi Festival Portrait mode, AI Magic Weather, and the Flowing Blessing feature.</p>

<p>Both models could also pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Software-wise, the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite are expected to ship with OriginOS 6 out of the box. The new OS is said to introduce features like Origin Island, Office Kit, and Flip Cards.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70-elite">Vivo V70 Elite</a> will reportedly become the first-ever V-series smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. According to a report by <em>SmartPrix</em>, the V70 Elite will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8s-gen-3">Snapdragon 8s Gen 3</a> SoC.</p>

<p>In addition to the flagship-grade chipset, the Vivo V70 Elite is expected to come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It is also said to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and support a 4D in-game vibration system for enhanced haptics. Reports further suggest that the V70 Elite could be a rebranded or slightly tweaked version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s50/">Vivo S50</a>, which debuted in China in December 2025.</p>

<p>The Vivo S50 features a 6.59-inch OLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also integrates an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.</p>

<p>In terms of cameras, the Vivo S50 packs a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. On the rear, it houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS support.</p>

<p>The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8s-gen-3"> </a>chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Additional features include a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and an IP68/IP69-rated body for dust and water resistance.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo V70 chipset revealed</strong></h3>

<p>The same report also reveals that the standard <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/">Vivo V70</a> will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-gen-4">Snapdragon 7 Gen 4</a> chipset, which was first seen on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v60/">Vivo V60</a> last year. The device is expected to feature LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. However, the rest of the specifications of the Vivo V70 remain a mystery for now.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo V70 series launch timeframe (rumored)</strong></h3>

<p>The publication states that the Vivo V70 series is likely to debut in India by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/14/vivo-v70-v70-elite-india-launch-tipped-for-feb-with-zeiss-optics-snapdragon-chips/">mid-February</a>. <p>The successor to the Vivo V60 series is arriving soon. But ahead of any official announcement, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> and Vivo V70 Elite just surfaced in a fresh leak that revealed their expected India launch timeline and some key features. So here are all the details.</p>

<h2>Vivo V70, V70 Elite India launch timeline leaks</h2>

<p>The latest information arrives from known tipster <em><a href="https://x.com/heyitsyogesh/status/2011058500118724903" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Yogesh Brar</a></em>, who shared the details on X (formerly Twitter). In his tweet, he claims that the upcoming Vivo V70 lineup will debut in the Indian market sometime in mid February 2026. Brar adds that the rumors of the January release are baseless. Furthermore, both models will feature Snapdragon chipsets and Zeiss optics for improved photography. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Vivo V60 alternatives" class="wp-image-706516" width="774" height="516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 774px) 100vw, 774px" /><figcaption>Vivo V60</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Based on what we know so far, the base Vivo V70 is expected to pack the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, while the new V70 Elite model could get the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The older Vivo V60 series debuted with Zeiss optics, so it&#8217;s no surprise that the successor also continues this collaboration. Both models are also rumored to run on the Android 16 OS based OriginOS 6 custom skin out of the box. </p>

<p>Yogesh Brar claims that a Vivo V70 FE model will join the V70 lineup, but its release will be at a later date. Apart from this, the only other info shared was about &#8220;plenty&#8221; of upgrades planned for this new lineup. In related news, the Vivo V70 FE recently bagged the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/09/vivo-v70-fe-iqoo-15r-iqoo-z11x-5g-certifications-launch-soon/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bluetooth SIG </a>certification along with the iQOO 15R and iQOO Z11x 5G. Meanwhile, the Vivo V70 Elite was spotted in India&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/28/vivo-v70-elite-5g-bis-certification-india-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BIS database</a>.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo</a>’s upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">V70 lineup </a>has quietly been in the works in the background. The series is expected to include four phones — the Vivo V70, V70 Lite, V70 Elite, and V70E — but not all of them may be headed to India.</p>

<p>A new report from SmartPrix claims Vivo is planning to launch the V70 series in India by mid-February. However, only two models will make the cut: the standard Vivo V70 and the higher-end V70 Elite. </p>

<p>The V70 Lite and V70E, which have shown up in earlier leaks, are likely intended for other markets.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Vivo V60 alternatives" class="wp-image-706516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V60</figcaption></figure>

<p>However, an earlier report suggested that Vivo could launch the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/20/vivo-v70-v70-elite-x200t-price-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> V70 phones alongside</a> the Vivo X200T in India. The latter device is expected to arrive in late January, and Vivo has already started teasing it, which makes this earlier timeline feel more grounded.</p>

<p>In other words, the mid-February claim doesn’t quite line up with what we’ve heard before, so it’s best to treat the latest leak with some caution.</p>

<h3><strong>What to expect from the Vivo V70</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo V70 is expected to be offered in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Color options are reportedly limited to red and yellow.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>The phone is said to feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/25/vivo-v70-multiple-certifications-launch-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">6.517-inch display</a> with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, Vivo is expected to include a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto camera.</p>

<p>Pricing is rumored to land around ₹45,000 for the Vivo V70, while the V70 Elite could be closer to ₹50,000.</p>

<p>As for the V70 Elite itself, details are still thin. What we do know is that the phone exists; it recently showed up in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/28/vivo-v70-elite-5g-bis-certification-india-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BIS certification listings</a> in India. But beyond that, we don’t know how it will differ from the standard V70.</p>

<p>Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2538 will hit the market with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/">Vivo V70</a> moniker. In the past few weeks, the device has bagged approvals from certification bodies in Europe, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/10/vivo-v70-t5x-bis-certification-india-launch/">India</a>, and the UAE. Now, the device has also been certified in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.</p>

<p>As can be seen above, SIRIM (Malaysia), NBTC (Thailand), and SDPPI (Indonesia) have approved the Vivo V70, hinting that its launch could be only a few weeks away in these countries. The handset is also listed in the NBD trade database, revealing variants such as 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. It states that the device will be equipped with a 6.517-inch display.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="493" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-1024x493.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-720849" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-1024x493.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-300x144.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-768x370.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-696x335.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-1068x514.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159-873x420.png 873w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-159.png 1388w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70 NBD database listing</figcaption></figure>

<p>The listing also reveals colour options such as red, yellow, gold, and black. According to a recent report, the device could be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/20/vivo-v70-v70-elite-x200t-price-leak/">priced at around</a> Rs 45,000 (~$500) in India. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/12/vivo-v70-series-will-not-have-any-4g-models-elite-and-fe-are-joining-the-line/">Another leak</a> revealed that the V70 series will also include other models, such as the Vivo V70 Lite 5G, V70 Elite 5G, and V70 FE 5G. However, these devices may not be available in all the markets where Vivo is active.</p>

<p>Reports suggest that the Vivo V70 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/12/vivo-s50-full-specifications-revealed/">could be based on the Vivo S50</a>, which recently debuted in China. It may arrive with similar specifications as the S60 but offer a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip instead of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. <p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo</a>’s V-series is back in the rumor cycle, and the latest leak adds a few more pieces to a picture that’s still very much unfinished.</p>

<p>So far, the Vivo V70 series has been linked to multiple leaks, but the most interesting claim has been the possible arrival of a new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/12/vivo-v70-series-will-not-have-any-4g-models-elite-and-fe-are-joining-the-line/">“Elite” model</a>. Now, a fresh tip from well-known leaker Abhishek Yadav expands on that idea and also pulls a few other Vivo phones into the conversation.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo S50 launch" class="wp-image-719445" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-768x439.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-696x398.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-735x420.jpg 735w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70 could be a rebrand of Vivo S50 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to Yadav, Vivo is planning to launch three phones together: the Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite, and Vivo X200T. The timing, based on his source, suggests a launch sometime in late January 2026.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The leak also mentions Vivo X300FE, though it’s expected to arrive later rather than alongside the others.</p>

<h2><strong>And the possible pricing…</strong></h2>

<p>Moreover, the leak claims the base Vivo V70 will come in just one configuration, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Color options are reportedly limited to red and yellow. </p>

<p>A previous report adds that the phone could feature a 1.5K resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its rear camera setup will include a 50MP main, an ultrawide, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Vivo X200 FE" class="wp-image-698042" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Vivo-X200-FE.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo X200 FE</figcaption></figure>

<p>Pricing is also part of the leak, though it comes with a clear warning. The figures are described as expected prices, not final ones. The Vivo V70 is expected to cost around ₹45,000, while the V70 Elite is rumored to be priced closer to ₹50,000.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The X200T, which is said to be sold online only, may be priced around ₹55,000, and the X300 FE could go as high as ₹60,000.</p>

<p>As always with early leaks, these details should be taken carefully. Launch plans and prices can change, especially this far out.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo</a> is likely to launch the V70 series phones in early 2026. So far, we have heard about two phones of the lineup: the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/10/vivo-v70-t5x-bis-certification-india-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/03/vivo-v70-lite-bluetooth-sig/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">V70 Lite</a>. Both have appeared in at least one certification platform to confirm their existence.</p>

<p>A new leak suggests that these phones will be joined by another two devices called the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 FE.</p>

<h2><strong>No Vivo V70e or V70 Lite 4G</strong></h2>

<p>Words for this come from tipster Paras Guglani on X, who claims that the 2026 Vivo V70 lineup will not include any Pro or Pro Plus models. Not much is surprising, as the predecessor lineup didn’t have them either. What’s interesting, however, is the addition of Elite and FE models, with no mention of a V70e.</p>

<p>For comparison, the V60 series was quite different, comprising the V60 itself, the V60 Lite 5G, the V60 Lite 4G, and the V60e.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo S50" class="wp-image-718908" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design-.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-design--420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo S50 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Another detail from the leak is that all V70 phones are expected to have 5G connectivity. Vivo traditionally offered Lite models in multiple connectivity options to appeal to different markets, but that may no longer be the case.</p>

<p>Moreover, the tipster says that not all phones will launch in the same market. The standard Vivo V70 seems destined for India, while the Lite and Elite models might launch globally. The V70 FE, meanwhile, could see a release in India, though that’s less certain.</p>

<h2><strong>What we know</strong></h2>

<p>There’s not much detail available on any V70 phone. However, rumors suggest the standard V70 could be a rebrand of Vivo S50 from China. Given that, it might feature a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>The back will include a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP selfie camera is reportedly on board as well.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rounding out the list are a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and an IP69 rating.</p>

<p>As we get closer to launch season, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo V70</a> keeps popping up across certification platforms. The phone recently showed up in the IMEI database, essentially confirming the model as Vivo preps for a global release.</p>

<p>Now, its India launch looks all but confirmed, thanks to a new listing on the BIS certification site. The device appears under the model number V2538, matching what we saw in the IMEI record. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="494" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-718485" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-300x165.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-768x422.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-696x382.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-V70-IMEI-database-765x420.jpg 765w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Vivo V70 and Vivo T5x BIS listing. <em>Image: Gadgetsdata / X</em></figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It’s not alone, either. Another device with model code V2545 also made an appearance on BIS, and it&#8217;s suspected to be the Vivo T5x.</p>

<p>As usual, the certification doesn’t spell out any hardware details. It mostly serves as a green light that both phones are cleared for an eventual debut in India.</p>

<h2><strong>Here’s what you can expect</strong></h2>

<p>Much of Vivo V70’s confirmed details come from Geekbench. The benchmark run reveals the phone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with Adreno 722 GPU, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, and 8GB of RAM. It scored 1235 in the single-core and 3920 in the multi-core test with this setup. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="590" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-590x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo S50 - Space Black" class="wp-image-717790" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-590x1024.jpg 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-173x300.jpg 173w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-768x1333.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-885x1536.jpg 885w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1180x2048.jpg 1180w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-696x1208.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1068x1854.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-1920x3332.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-242x420.jpg 242w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Vivo-S50-Black-scaled.jpg 1475w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /><figcaption>Vivo S50 &#8211; Space Black</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The device is expected to be a global rebrand of the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/07/vivo-s50-s50-pro-mini-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Vivo S50</a>. If true, you can also expect to see a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back might feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP selfie camera is reportedly on board as well. </p>

<p>Rounding out the list are a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and an IP69 rating.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the Vivo T5x, this is its first appearance, so there’s nothing concrete on the hardware front yet. Still, a BIS listing usually means the device is cleared for launch, so more details should start surfacing soon.</p>

<p>Vivo V70 spotted with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on Geekbench</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo">Vivo</a> is reportedly working on the Vivo V70 series of smartphones. Recently, the Vivo V70 Lite 4G was spotted at the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/03/vivo-v70-lite-bluetooth-sig/">Bluetooth SIG</a> and FCC certification platforms. These listings revealed a few key specifications of the phone. At the same time, the Vivo V70 has been spotted in the IMEI database listing, revealing its model number, V2538. However, its specifications were not revealed until today, as the device has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo V70 Geekbench listing</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="539" height="743" data-id="715014" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench.png?x44794" alt="Vivo V70 Geekbench" class="wp-image-715014" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench.png 539w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench-218x300.png 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench-305x420.png 305w" sizes="(max-width: 539px) 100vw, 539px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="541" height="613" data-id="715013" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench-.png?x44794" alt="Vivo V70 Geekbench" class="wp-image-715013" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench-.png 541w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench--265x300.png 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Vivo-V70-Geekbench--371x420.png 371w" sizes="(max-width: 541px) 100vw, 541px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>As per the Geekbench listing, the Vivo V70 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which also powers the previous generation—the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-v60">Vivo V60.</a> As usual, the chipset’s name is not explicitly mentioned, but the CPU and GPU details available in the listing are sufficient to confirm the inclusion of the Snapdragon 7-series chip.</p>

<p>The Vivo V70 Geekbench listing further reveals that it has 8GB of RAM and Android 16 OS. It scored 1235 in the single-core test and 3920 in the multi-core test. The other details of the phone are under wraps.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Vivo V60 alternatives" class="wp-image-706516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Vivo-V60.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo V60</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo V70 in the first quarter of 2026. The reason behind this is that the company is currently teasing the arrival of the Vivo X300 series in some Asian markets, and in India in particular, it is expected to launch in the first week of December. Since the company is currently focused on the X300 series, it is expected to officially tease the V70’s arrival a couple of weeks after the X300 series launch.</p>

<p>Vivo is also gearing up to launch the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini in China in December. The Pro Mini model is likely to be rebranded as the Vivo X300 FE globally, whereas the S50 could be based on the Vivo V70.</p>
