Ahead of its formal debut, the device has been spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium, which reiterates its design. The new foldable is confirmed to be equipped with a powerful processor and to feature some significant upgrades over its predecessor.</p>
<p>As initially spotted by <a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/vivo-x-fold-plus-wireless-power-consortium-renders-display-camera-setup/">MySmartPrice</a>, the Vivo X Fold+ has appeared on the Wireless Power Consortium website with model number V2229A. The listing also includes an image, which gives us a good look at the smartphone’s design. The design is the same as what we have seen in Vivo’s teaser poster. However, in the listing, the foldable is pictured with a greyish paint job, which creates the possibility of an additional color option.</p>

<h2>Vivo X Fold+ Specifications (Expected)</h2>
<p>Many leaks and rumors suggest the Vivo X Fold+ will share many specifications and features with its predecessor. For instance, it is rumored to be equipped with the same 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch cover screen as the Vivo X Fold. The device will offer a 120Hz refresh rate on both screens.</p>
<p>Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The device managed to get a decent benchmark score on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/09/21/vivo-x-fold-antutu-score-reveals-massive-performance-lead-over-other-foldables/">Antutu</a> and it will probably handle all tasks smoothly. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will be powered by a 4,730mAh battery with 80W of wired charging and 50W of wireless charging.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-486616 size-full aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X Fold+" width="1024" height="700" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki-300x205.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki-768x525.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki-218x150.jpg 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki-696x476.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/FdEWlyAWQAEa9ki-614x420.jpg 614w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" />For optics, the smartphone will have a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. While at the front, it should have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.</p>

In addition, rumors about the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 have also started to pick up the pace. While we are still waiting for official word on both smartphones, a popular tipster has leaked their storage configurations as well as color options. Here are the details.</p>
<p>Tipster Digital chat station has revealed the Vivo X Fold+ will have the same storage and color variants as the previous gen X Fold (Via <a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/641/421.htm">ITHome</a>). However, the foldable will be available in an additional red color option. To recall, Vivo’s first foldable debuted with 2GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB storage configurations. It was offered in blue and grey colors.</p>

The handset has been making the rounds on various certification websites recently. In the latest development, the Vivo X Fold+ has been spotted on China’s TENAA certification database. It is listed to feature a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery, Android 12, 5G support, and much more. Let’s take a closer look.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/vivo-x-fold-5g-tenaa-certification-launch-imminent/">MySmartPrice</a> has spotted the Vivo X-Fold+ listed on the TENAA certification website. As per the listing, the handset will be equipped with a 2,300mAh + 2,300mAh dual-cell battery — a rated battery capacity of 4,600mAh. In addition, the device will run Android 12 out of the box. Just like the rest of the Vivo smartphones, the X Fold+ may also have a Funtouch OS skin on top.</p>

Now, the company is believed to be working on another foldable phone model, which is dubbed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-x-fold-s/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">X Fold S</a>. This device is expected to launch soon, and a new leak has revealed some key specifications as well as its rear design.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-482016 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Vivo-X-Fold-MySmartPrice-696x365-1.webp?x10805" alt="Vivo" width="696" height="365" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Vivo-X-Fold-MySmartPrice-696x365-1.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Vivo-X-Fold-MySmartPrice-696x365-1-300x157.webp 300w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>The news arrives from a known tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). On the social media post, the tipster stated that the Chinese smartphone maker is planning on launching a new foldable smartphone in China soon. Although, the leak did not reveal the exact launch date for the device. The tipster also shared that the new foldable phone will feature Qualcomm&#8217;s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is in line with our previous report.</p>
<p>Under the hood, a large 4,700mAh battery pack will power the device, which also supports 80W fast charging as well. This is also larger than the previous X Fold model&#8217;s smaller 4,600mAh battery pack. Furthermore, the upcoming Vivo X Fold S will apparently feature a rear panel design that is similar to the previously launched X Fold. The smartphone will reportedly also sport a 8.03 inch primary AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate as well.</p>
<p>On the other hand, the secondary panel will apparently be a 6.53 inch AMOLED panel, which also has a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, the tipster claimed that the new foldable phone will features a quad camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel primary, 48 megapixel ultra wide angle, 12 megapixel telephoto, and 8 megapixel periscopic sensors. Meanwhile, the front will house a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt.</p>

Vivo’s first foldable display smartphone was released barely a week back and a side-by-side image shows the seeming creaseless design of the Vivo flagship.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-x-fold-galaxy-comparison.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-455437 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-x-fold-galaxy-comparison.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X Fold vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3" width="738" height="417" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-x-fold-galaxy-comparison.jpg 738w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-x-fold-galaxy-comparison-300x170.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-x-fold-galaxy-comparison-696x393.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 738px) 100vw, 738px" /></a></p>
<p>The Vivo X Fold made a glorious entry into the stage and comes kitted with several impressive features and components. Although its OEM claims that it is fully creaseless, the images show a crease but this was less prominent than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. There are still many of the finer details of the X Fold that are yet to be available, but the less prominent crease is a plus.</p>
<figure id="attachment_453037" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-453037" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-453037 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604.jpg?x10805" alt="vivo X Fold" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-453037" class="wp-caption-text">vivo X Fold</figcaption></figure>
<p>The crease in the Vivo X Fold could be overlooked except for eagle-eyed scrutiny. It is less noticeable but the images indicate that the crease is shallower than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The other prominent foldable model is the Oppo Find N, which is said to have the least visible crease among the three models.</p>

<p>There are no global launch details of the Vivo X Fold at this time but it is being retailed in China for $1,415. The price is slightly less than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 at $1,499. It is noted that the Z Fold 3 has had an impressive run and we expect this to continue, at least outside China. However, the global version of the Vivo X Fold could provide decent competition for the Z Fold 3.</p>

They are foldable, tablet, and phablet. The first devices in these three categories are officially called </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x-fold/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo X Fold</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-pad/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo Pad</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x-note/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo X Note</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> respectively.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All of them come with high-end features. The foldable and the phablet even carry premium price tags to match their specs. However, the tablet falls under the mid-range price segment like most flagship tablets from Chinese OEMs.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s take a look at these products one by one.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h1><strong>Vivo’s first foldable, tablet, and phablet are finally here</strong></h1>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><b>Vivo’s First Foldable &#8211; Vivo X Fold</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At first look, one can clearly say that the Vivo X Fold is inspired by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. But Vivo’s foldable </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-x-fold-launch-zeiss-camera-dual-fingerprint-sensors/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">arrives with a better set of features</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, like dual ultra-sonic in-screen fingerprint sensors, an alert slider, and flagship-level cameras.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-451666 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="696" height="536" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-768x591.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-696x536.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1068x822.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-546x420.jpg 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg 1330w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Though it is not water-resistant (IPX8) like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, it flaunts a vegan leather rear finish like the Huawei Mate X2 and its hinge is rated to last for 300,000 folds. It is also powered by a custom-made Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Talking about screes, the primary internal foldable Samsung E5 AMOLED display measures 8.03-inch in size and has a 2K resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the 6.53-inch external Samsung E5 AMOLED display has a resolution of FHD+, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both the screens support HDR10+ standard and feature a punch-hole for a front-facing camera.</span></p>

These cameras are covered by Zeiss lens and T* coating. Finally, there are two 16MP front-facing cameras.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The device boots Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean. It is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo X Fold is priced at ¥8,999 and ¥9,999 for 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB memory configurations. It can be availed in either blue, black, or gray color options.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><b>Vivo’s First Tablet &#8211; Vivo Pad</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just like the tablets from Xiaomi and Oppo, the Vivo Pad is </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-pad-launched-with-11-inch-oled-display-sd870-13mp-dual-cameras-and-44w-fast-charging/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">built around</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> an LCD panel and a Qualcomm chipset. It features an 11-inch screen with a 2.5K resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports Dolby Vision and Vivo Pen stylus input.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-451085 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1024x683.jpg?x10805" alt="vivo Pad" width="696" height="464" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F.jpg 1096w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It runs OriginOS HD based on Android 12. It is backed by an 8,040mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The tablet comes with a dual-camera system on the rear comprising of a 13MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide unit. There’s also an 8MP front-facing camera and Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers.</span></p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="vivo Pad Unboxing &amp; First Impression: vivo First Tablet." width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Wc3H8EIBcvQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other features include an aluminum build, support for a keyboard accessory via a magnetic connector, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB 3.1 (Type-C). The product arrives in three colors, such as blue, black, and white.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo Pad is priced at ¥2,499 and ¥2,999 for 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB memory variants respectively.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Vivo’s First Phablet &#8211; Vivo X Note</strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo X Note is huge and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-x-note-with-a-7-inch-screen-60x-ois-telephoto-lens-and-80w-50w-charging-unveiled/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">has a good set of high-end features</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. <p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-451666 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="1330" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg 1330w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-768x591.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-696x536.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1068x822.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-546x420.jpg 546w" sizes="(max-width: 1330px) 100vw, 1330px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4>Design &amp; Display</h4>
<p>The newly launched <a href="https://www.giztop.com/vivo-x-fold.html">Vivo X Fold</a> adopts an inward folding design. In other words, the device&#8217;s primary display is hidden when the smartphone is in its folded state. Although, users then have access to the smaller external display in this mode. The rear panel features a large rectangular island module that houses a circular camera sensor setup and other necessary sensors like the LED flash. The front of the device features a punch hole cutout along with curved edges. Interestingly, the device also features two ultrasonic fingerprint scanners as well as an alert slider on the side.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-451663 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3.png?x10805" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="548" height="548" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3.png 750w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 548px) 100vw, 548px" /></p>
<p>The brand has placed an emphasis on the hinge of its first foldable handset, which comes with an aerospace grade wing design. In the Rheinland folding test, the device was folded 300,000 times overall to check its durability. Furthermore, even if the user folds the device 80 times a day, the folding mechanism will still remain functional over the course of 10 years. Since it is the first model of its kind from the brand, it is not surprising that Vivo made no compromises on its build quality.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-454014 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge.png?x10805" alt="Vivo" width="1463" height="669" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge.png 1463w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-300x137.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-768x351.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-1024x468.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-696x318.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-1068x488.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-918x420.png 918w" sizes="(max-width: 1463px) 100vw, 1463px" /></p>
<p>Talking about the display, the Vivo X Fold sports a large 8.03 inch E5 LTPO OLED 3.0 display with UTG that has a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. The screen also supports HDR10+ and comes with a 113 percent DCI P3 color gamut. On the other hand, the secondary screen is a 6.53 inch E5 OLED panel that has a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and 21:9 aspect ratio as well. The company has teased that the device will officially be unveiled on April 11, but there have been quite a few leaks so far. So here&#8217;s what we can expect from the Vivo X Fold.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="mfp-img aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-1.png?x10805" width="470" height="470" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>Design and display</strong></h4>
<p>The official renders of the Vivo X Fold have revealed the phone to have an in-ward folding design like other foldable smartphones available on the market. The front side of the device has a punch-hole screen with a curved edge. The rear shell of the device has a rectangle camera block with a quad-camera unit and an LED flash inside it.<img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-453037 size-full td-animation-stack-type0-2" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604.jpg?x10805" alt="vivo X Fold" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Fold-1024x604-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>The right edge of the Vivo X Fold has a button that looks like an alert slide. The other edge of the device has a volume rocker and a power key. Opening the device reveals its massive foldable screen with a punch-hole design.</p>
<p>A recent promotion material leak confirmed that the foldable phone features an 8-inch 2K LTPO 3.0 internal folding screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a 6.53-inch Full HD+ outer display with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/120hz">120Hz refresh rate</a>.</p>
<h4><strong>Cameras</strong></h4>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3.png?x10805" alt="" width="493" height="493" /></p>
<p>In the camera department, the Vivo X Fold will feature a quad-camera setup on the back with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/zeiss">Zeiss</a> lens and T* coating. There’s a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and a 5-megapixel periscope lens.</p>
<h4><strong>Performance</strong></h4>
<p>Under the hood, the device is revealed to house a Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1">Snapdragon 8 Gen 1</a> chipset clocked at up to 3GHz. It has a base frequency of 1.78GHz. The chipset is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.</p>
<p>It runs the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-12">Android 12</a> operating system with the company’s own custom UI on top. The phone packs a 4,600mAh battery and comes with 66W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging.</p>
<h4><strong>Pricing and availability</strong></h4>
<p>So far, no details about the pricing of the device have surfaced as of yet. The Vivo X Fold is expected to be available in three color options — Blue, Crimson, and Orange. The device is set officially launch on April 11.</p>

<p>So far, the Vivo Nex Fold is rumored to come with a 5x periscope zoom lens camera. But Vivo is also said to be working on another foldable device dubbed the Vivo X Fold which is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/02/vivo-x-fold-specifications-leaked-reveals-120hz-dual-displays-sd8g1-50mp-quad-cameras/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">rumored</a> to come with a curved edge 6.5-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>
<p>The Vivo X Fold is said to sport an inward folding design like the foldable devices from Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, and OPPO. The inner screen of the X Fold will measure 8 inches, and it will carry support for a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As far as the inner display design is concerned, it will be equipped with a punch-hole on its right half. The device will house a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Snapdragon 8 Gen 1</a> SoC and will be powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.</p>
<p>For photography, the Vivo X Fold is said to come with a quad-cam setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 12-megapixel camera with 2x zoom, and an 8-megapixel camera with 5x zoom.</p>
<p>Additionally, the front and inner display are said to come equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.</p>
