But just a couple of weeks ago, the Vivo X300 debuted as the brand’s true flagship model alongside the X300 Pro. So we have one model aimed squarely at delivering flagship-class experience at a slightly more accessible price, and the other positioned as a true flagship with top-tier imaging and performance. Choosing between them isn’t just about price, so here’s a detailed comparison to help you decide which smartphone makes more sense.

Design & Display

At first glance, both Vivo X200T and X300 share a similar design language, blending a premium glass back with a metallic side frame. The sides, front, and back are all flat, with the rear also featuring a big circular camera island. Other identical design elements include uniform bezels on the front and an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The differences are quite subtle between the two, so you’re not seeing any compromise with the X200T, despite its cheaper price tag.

But once you turn the phones around, it becomes apparent that the Vivo X300 is a compact flagship. But we recently saw another great entry in this segment with the Motorola Signature. Both start at around Rs 59,999, bringing powerful chipsets, versatile cameras, and long software support, so here’s a side-by-side look at how these stack up across key areas to help you decide which one deserves a place in your pocket.

Design: Motorola shines here

At first glance, both phones deliver a premium aesthetic, but the execution is distinct in the two flagship killers. The Motorola Signature leans into a sleek, ultra-thin silhouette at just about 6.99mm thickness and approximately 186g weight, giving it a very refined in-hand feel. Its aircraft-grade aluminium frame, paired with a textile-inspired finish, elevates the experience. As scheduled, Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X200T in India today. The phone is built with a flagship Dimensity 9400+ chip, Zeiss camera, and is promised to receive a long term software support. 

On the front, the Vivo X200T features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2800 × 1260). The panel uses BOE’s Q10 AMOLED tech and reaches up to 1600 nits in high brightness mode. Vivo has also opted for SCHOTT Xensation Core protection. 

At 7.9mm thick and weighing just over 200 grams, it’s not a small phone, but it stays within typical flagship territory.

Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It boots on Android 16-based Origin OS 6 and is promised five Android OS updates and seven years of security patches. 

The X200T comes with a triple rear camera setup, all tuned with Zeiss optics. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with optical image stabilization. It’s joined by a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens for longer zoom shots. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera.

Vivo is using a 6,200mAh battery to keep the lights on, and it supports both 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, eSIM support, and an IR blaster. Now that the X200T is official, let’s also compare it with the X200 FE, as it might be a little confusing as to how the phones differ.

The Vivo X200T is noticeably larger and heavier than the Vivo X200 FE. It features a 6.67-inch display compared to the FE’s more compact 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED panel.

This brings the effective price down to just Rs 52,999. At this price range, the Vivo X200T will directly compete with the Motorola Signature, which recently debuted in India for Rs 59,999 as well. While it remains to be seen if it can actually rival Motorola’s latest flagship, they are competing in the same price segment. To recall, the Vivo X200T is set to release tomorrow, 27th January 2026, right after the Republic Day in India.

Ahead of the launch, Yadav has now shared the full specifications and price of the smartphone. 

Vivo X200T Pricing for India

The Vivo X200T will arrive in two storage variants in India:

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹59,999
• 12GB RAM + 512GB storage – ₹69,999

These prices place the phone directly in competition with high-end models from Samsung, OnePlus, and iQOO. 

Vivo X200T Specifications

For the price, you are getting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. Powering the device will be MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400+ processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

As can be seen in the above screenshot, two upcoming phones with model numbers V237 and V2561 have also been certified by the BIS authority. These devices were recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification database with the Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X200T monikers, respectively.

As mentioned above, the BIS has also approved other phones, such as the Vivo V70 (V2538), Vivo V70 Elite (V2548), Vivo T5x (V2545), and Vivo Y51 (V2544). The BIS certifications do not reveal any information about their specifications, but they hint that these devices will debut soon, probably in the first quarter of this year.

The Vivo X300 FE is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which debuted in December 2025 in China. He claims that the smartphone will also house a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for security. This model likely packs a massive battery pack. Abhishek further added that the device will support 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging as well. For photography, you are reportedly getting three 50MP cameras that likely consists of a main, telephoto, and ultra wide angle shooter. Apart from this, there were other key features that were highlighted, like a virtual graphics card, super resolution and frame interpolation technologies, and a 4.5K nanofluids VC heat dissipating system.

All of this makes it clear that this will be a performance focused device, which probably targets gamers. It seems we are getting 5 years of major Android OS updates on the Vivo X200T, along with 7 years of security patches. Vivo is expected to launch this phone in India near the end of January 2026. But keep in mind that this is still just speculation at the moment, so take this news with a pinch of salt for now.

Vivo may have already pushed the X300 series into global markets, but it looks like the company still has one more device lined up from its previous generation. 

A phone called the Vivo X200T was first spotted in an IMEI listing back in November. It has surfaced again through a new leak, revealing its possible launch timeframe for the Indian market.

A report from SmartPrix suggests that the X200T is expected to launch in India toward the end of January 2026. 

The publication refers to the phone as a “mix of the X200 and the X200 FE.” Instead of being a direct successor or a budget variant, the X200T might be between the best of the previous two flagships.

Right now, the leak doesn’t tell us much about actual specifications. There are no details on the display, processor, cameras, or battery. But the report suggests that Vivo might reuse the compact design of the X200 FE while pulling in most of the core hardware from the standard X200. Until more concrete information appears, it’s probably best to treat all of this as early speculation.

There’s more coming

Apart from this, Vivo is currently working on X300 Ultra as its most spec-ed phone for 2026. Unlike the Dimensity 9500 chip powering the X300 and X300 Pro, the Ultra model is rumored to carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. 

Its camera hardware could include a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera.

Another device, the Vivo X300s, is reportedly an upgraded take on the standard X300, likely featuring the upcoming Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset.

For now, the X200T remains the most mysterious of the bunch. But with the launch window approaching, we’ll probably see more leaks fill in the gaps soon.

Vivo may be gearing up for the big X300 series launch in India next month, but it looks like the company isn’t quite done with the X200 family yet. A new device, believed to be the Vivo X200T, has quietly surfaced in the GSMA IMEI database.

The listing, spotted by Smartprix, shows a Vivo phone registered on November 17 with the model number V2561. The listing also makes it certain that the device in question is the Vivo X200T. 

The timing here is interesting. The X300 series is nearly here, so why release another X200 model now? We don’t know yet. But the listing suggests Vivo could launch the X200T in global markets, including India. 

A T phone usually means one thing: performance

While there are zero confirmed specs at the moment, the “T” badge gives us a pretty good hint at what to expect. Over the years, the T branding has always been about raw speed. These phones typically prioritize power and performance over camera capabilities or ultra-premium extras.

So if Vivo follows that tradition, the X200T could land as a more performance-centric sibling to the standard X200. Or at least, that is what we think of it. 

For now, though, everything is still early. The IMEI appearance simply confirms that the phone exists and is moving through official channels. 

As more leaks surface in the coming weeks, we should get a clearer idea of where the Vivo X200T will sit in the lineup and why Vivo decided to release one last X200 model this late in the cycle.
