Design and Display

Build and Feel

The Vivo X300e uses a glass front and glass back with an aluminum frame, giving it a premium and refined appearance. Its IP68/IP69 rating provides particularly strong protection against dust and water, making it well suited to users who want durability without compromising on a polished design. Xiaomi uses Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides with an aluminum frame and IP68 protection. The Xiaomi 17T Pro feels more rugged and premium, while the Vivo X300e has a slightly more elegant character.

Also ReadXiaomi 17T Pro vs Vivo X300: Which $900 Flagship Delivers Better Value?

Display Quality

Both smartphones feature AMOLED displays with a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling, animations and gaming. Vivo offers 1B colors, HDR support and an impressive 5000-nit peak brightness. Xiaomi counters with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 3840Hz PWM dimming and a 3500-nit peak brightness. Xiaomi’s display is therefore more feature-rich for movies and HDR content, while Vivo’s higher peak brightness is particularly appealing for outdoor visibility.

Verdict

Xiaomi wins with its Dolby Vision, HDR10+, advanced PWM dimming and more comprehensive multimedia features.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

The Vivo X300e is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and comes with up to 12GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi uses the Dimensity 9500 and offers up to 16GB RAM with as much as 1TB storage. Both processors target flagship-level performance and should handle demanding games, multitasking and intensive applications comfortably. Xiaomi has the advantage for users who want maximum memory and storage flexibility.

Battery and Charging

Vivo packs a larger 7200mAh battery with 90W wired charging and reverse wired charging. Xiaomi uses a 7000mAh battery but supports faster 100W wired charging, 100W PPS, 50W wireless charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Vivo should appeal to users prioritizing battery capacity, while Xiaomi’s charging versatility feels considerably more premium.

Verdict

Xiaomi wins because it combines strong battery capacity with faster wired charging, wireless charging and broader memory configurations.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

The Vivo X300e features a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. Zeiss optics further strengthen its photography credentials. Xiaomi features a larger 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The longer optical zoom and larger primary sensor give Xiaomi a stronger setup for detailed photography, especially at distant subjects. Its Leica lens system also adds to the premium imaging package.

Selfie Camera

Vivo has a 50MP autofocus selfie camera capable of 4K video recording. This is a notable advantage for users who frequently take selfies or record themselves. Xiaomi uses a 32MP front camera with 4K recording and HDR10+ support. Although Xiaomi offers advanced video features, Vivo’s higher-resolution autofocus camera is more appealing for detailed front-facing photography.

Verdict

Xiaomi wins overall thanks to its larger main sensor, 5x optical zoom, stronger ultrawide camera and significantly more advanced video capabilities.

Pricing

The Vivo X300e is priced around $700, which is approximately ₹68,200 based on the supplied pricing. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is priced around $900, while its supplied Indian price is approximately ₹75,000. This makes Vivo the more affordable option, although the difference between the supplied Indian prices is relatively modest. Xiaomi therefore targets buyers willing to spend more for a broader flagship feature set, while Vivo offers a more accessible entry point.

Is the Price Justified?

The Vivo X300e offers strong value with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 7200mAh battery, 3x periscope camera, Zeiss optics and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. Xiaomi’s higher price is justified by its stronger camera hardware, Dolby Vision display, 100W charging, 50W wireless charging and higher memory and storage options. The Xiaomi package feels more complete for buyers seeking flagship-level versatility.

Verdict

Vivo wins on value, while Xiaomi justifies its higher price with a broader and more capable feature set.

Conclusion

The Vivo X300e stands out with its 7200mAh battery, 50MP autofocus selfie camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, Zeiss optics and IP68/IP69 protection. It is particularly attractive for buyers who prioritize battery endurance, selfies and value. The Xiaomi 17T Pro brings a more comprehensive flagship package with Dolby Vision, 3840Hz PWM dimming, Leica optics, a 5x periscope camera, 8K video recording, 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and up to 1TB storage.

Verdict

Xiaomi 17T Pro is the better overall smartphone for buyers seeking the strongest combination of camera versatility, display technology, charging and storage. The Vivo X300e remains an excellent alternative for those prioritizing battery capacity, selfie photography and lower pricing. For buyers willing to pay more for broader flagship capabilities, Xiaomi offers the more complete package.

Under the hood, the listing confirms the Vivo X300e uses a Snapdragon SM8845 chip, which is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in its marketing name. The processor was tipped for the X300e in earlier reports as well. The chip runs at speeds up to 3.8GHz across eight cores, and the phone ships with Android 16 out of the box.

Moreover, the Vivo X300e is expected to come in three color options: Moonlight White, Sunlight Orange, and Midnight Black. The China Telecom page lists the phone’s dimensions at 157.52 × 74.33 × 7.99mm, with a weight of roughly 203 grams and a glass body. The listing also confirms a 7,200mAh battery.

In the box, you can expect a power adapter, a protective case, a data cable, and a user manual. The listing also mentions NFC, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB flash-drive mode, fingerprint recognition, and over-the-air update support, though full details on these features remain unclear. Interestingly, the page lists July 30 as the product’s launch time, which could be when open sales actually begin.

The X300e is likely to target a more affordable price point while keeping the series’ signature Zeiss imaging focus.

Vivo X300e Specifications

Vivo has not revealed the complete specs of the X300e yet. Thanks to previous reports, though, we have an almost detailed spec sheet to look at.

Also Read5 Best alternatives to Vivo X300 Pro

The Vivo X300e is said to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a flat panel design. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, the same as the Vivo X300 FE. Up front, you can expect a 50MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.

The camera on the back also looks quite capable. It reportedly includes a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP IMX8 periscope camera for zoom shots. As expected of the X series, the cameras will come with Zeiss imaging tuning, which should improve color accuracy and optical quality.

Moving on, the X300e is said to pack a large 7200mAh battery, along with 90W fast charging support. That is a sizeable capacity for a phone that is expected to measure just 7.99mm thick and weigh around 203 grams.

Design-wise, the leak suggests a square camera island on the left, along with metal frames wrapping the body. There is also a possibility of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, though this detail is not fully confirmed yet.

With pre-orders open now, buyers have a week to decide before the X300e goes on sale on July 27. Vivo hasn’t announced pricing yet, so that detail should surface closer to the sale date.

Popular Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station has dropped more details on the Vivo X300e. According to the latest leak, it’ll come in two main versions: a base model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and a step-up variant with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. Pretty straightforward and should cover what most people need. The phone is expected to launch in China sometime between late July and August 2026, with global markets likely following shortly after.

On the design side, there are three color choices: Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Sunlight Orange. They sound clean and modern.

From earlier leaks, the hardware looks promising. It’s rumored to have a 6.59-inch display (nice and compact by today’s standards), powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The camera setup includes a triple rear system with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, plus a 50MP selfie camera up front. Other highlights include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a premium metal frame, and a massive 7,015mAh battery packed into a slim 7.9mm body. It’s also said to support 90W fast charging.

The X300e seems positioned as a more accessible or compact option in the X300 lineup, focusing on great battery life, everyday usability, and strong photography (probably tuned with Vivo’s Zeiss partnership). That combo of a huge battery, efficient chip, and fast charging could make it a winner for people who hate hunting for outlets.

What we’re hearing so far makes the Vivo X300e sound like a well-rounded phone that balances performance, endurance, and style in the competitive flagship space.

As the launch gets closer, we should see official pricing and final details drop. If you’re into Vivo’s phones, this one might be worth keeping an eye on.

Just when it seemed that Vivo was done with the Vivo X300 series as it gears up for the Vivo X500 series launch in September, recent reports have revealed the existence of a new X-series model called the Vivo X300e. The handset is expected to debut soon in China, and it is also likely to launch in global markets. In all likelihood, the X300e could make its global debut alongside the Vivo X Fold 6.

Interestingly, the Vivo X300e is tipped to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that powers the recently announced Vivo X300 FE. With both phones expected to target the premium flagship segment, buyers may wonder whether it is worth waiting for the X300e or picking up the X300 FE. Here’s how the two compare based on everything known so far.

Vivo S60 (left) and Vivo X300 FE (right)

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Design and display

The biggest visible difference between the two devices is likely to be their size.

The Vivo X300e is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED flat display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels. While the resolution has surfaced, there is still no confirmation on whether the panel supports a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo X300 FE, on the other hand, comes with a more compact 6.31-inch AMOLED flat display offering a 1.5K (2640 × 1216) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, and 4320Hz PWM dimming with DC dimming support.

If you prefer compact smartphones that are easier to use with one hand, the X300 FE has the advantage. Those wanting a slightly larger screen for gaming and multimedia may find the X300e more appealing.

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Performance

Performance may end up being almost identical.

Both smartphones are expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The X300e is tipped to arrive in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants, paired with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

The X300 FE also features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, making both devices capable of handling demanding games, AI features, and multitasking with ease.

One advantage currently confirmed for the X300 FE is Vivo’s software commitment. It ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and is promised five years of Android OS updates along with seven years of security updates. There is no information yet on the software support policy for the X300e. However, being part of the X300 series, it is expected to receive the same software update commitment.

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Cameras

On paper, the camera hardware appears remarkably similar.

The Vivo X300e will arrive with a feature a 50-megapixel front camera alongside a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

The Vivo X300 FE packs a 50-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS. While the X300 FE has a horizontal camera bar on the back, the X300e is said to feature a squarish camera module positioned at the top-left corner.

The X300e’s design is also expected to be similar to China’s Vivo S60 series, as the device was previously rumored to launch as the Vivo S60 Pro before later reports suggested it would instead arrive as the Vivo X300e.

The X300 FE currently enjoys a clear advantage because Vivo has confirmed support for the 200mm Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2. Being an X300-series device, the X300e may also support this camera accessory, although there is no official confirmation yet.

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Battery and charging

Battery capacity could be where the X300e pulls ahead.

Leaks suggest the X300e will feature a 7,015mAh rated battery, which could translate to a typical capacity of around 7,200mAh. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging.

The Vivo X300 FE packs a smaller 6,500mAh battery but supports both 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

At present, there is no confirmation that the X300e will support wireless charging. If wireless charging is important to you, the X300 FE remains the safer option.

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Other features

Both phones are expected to offer a premium flagship experience.

Buy Vivo X300 FE on Amazon India

The X300e is tipped to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, NFC, an IR blaster, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. It is also expected to measure 157.52 × 74.33 × 7.99mm and weigh 203 grams.

The X300 FE offers a similar feature set, including an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, a 4,200mm² VC cooling system, and an IP68/IP69-rated metal-and-glass body.

Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Which one should you choose?

If you are looking for a flagship smartphone that is available right now, the Vivo X300 FE appears to be the better choice. Besides offering wireless charging and a longer confirmed software update commitment, it also has the edge in the camera department. The phone features a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, whereas the Vivo X300e is tipped to offer 2x optical zoom, suggesting a less capable telephoto experience.

The rumored camera setup also indicates that the Vivo X300e could be positioned below the X300 FE in Vivo’s lineup, despite both devices being expected to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

That said, the X300e is still shaping up to be an attractive option with its larger display and significantly bigger 7,200mAh battery. However, several details, including its wireless charging support, display refresh rate, and final camera capabilities, are yet to be officially confirmed. Until then, the X300 FE remains the more complete package on paper, while the X300e could appeal to buyers who prioritize battery life over camera versatility.

Users who prioritize a larger display and longer battery life and are looking for a more affordable alternative to the X300 FE may prefer to wait for the Vivo X300e.

A Vivo device bearing the model number V2612A was recently approved by China’s TENAA certification platform, revealing its key specifications. Soon after, Chinese tech bloggers claimed that the device will launch in the domestic market as the Vivo X300e. Now, in a fresh development, the handset has also received 3C certification, confirming its fast charging capabilities.

Vivo X300e 3C certified

As can be seen, the Vivo X300e, bearing the model number V2612A, has received China’s 3C certification. The listing reveals that the device may support 90W fast charging. However, there is still no confirmation on whether it will also offer wireless charging support.

With the X300e now clearing all three key Chinese certifications, namely MIIT, TENAA, and 3C, it appears that the device could debut in China as early as this month or in August. The phone is also expected to launch in global markets, as its name was spotted in the IMEI database a few weeks ago.

Vivo X300e specifications (rumored)

As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo X300e will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a flat design. The front is also likely to house a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back, the X300e is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Reports further suggest that the camera system will benefit from Zeiss optics and image tuning. Design-wise, the phone is expected to feature a square-shaped rear camera module positioned towards the upper-left corner of the back panel.

The Vivo X300e could house a 7,100mAh battery while retaining a slim profile of under 8mm and a weight of around 203 grams. Like the X300 FE, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

The Vivo X300 series is big, with five models already in the lineup. The company, however, isn’t done yet. We previously reported that the X300e appeared in the IMEI database alongside the X Fold 6, hinting at a new addition to the series. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a detailed rundown of what the phone might actually offer.

Vivo X300e Specifications (expected)

According to the leak, the Vivo X300e will sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a flat panel design.

Vivo X300 FE

Moving on, the X300e is said to pack a large 7015mAh or 7100mAh battery, along with 90W fast charging support.

All well and good, but the tipster did not reveal the launch timeframe. As always, it is best to treat these leaked specifications with some caution until Vivo makes an official announcement.

Vivo introduced the X300 series globally in October, with the vanilla and Pro models. The company is currently working on the X300 Ultra as its next big reveal—China first, of course. A new report now suggests that Vivo is also cooking another member of the lineup, called the X300e.

Vivo X300e and X Fold 6 make it to IMEI

The smartphone has appeared on the GSMA IMEI database with the Vivo X300e moniker. Vivo has not used the “e” suffix in the X series so far. Instead, the company introduced the X200 FE last year and the X200T more recently. That said, we expect the X300e to be an affordable flagship option like the X200 FE and X200T.

Also appearing in the IMEI database is the Vivo X Fold 6 foldable. Much like the X300 Ultra, the Fold 6 is expected to launch in China first, followed by a wider global release.

The listings do not reveal any hardware details for either device, but they do confirm that development is underway.

As mentioned earlier, details on both phones remain scarce. However, a leak from November suggests that the Fold 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

The Fold 6 is also expected to feature a 200MP camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For context, the current Vivo X Fold 5 already offers a high-end setup, including a large 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Zeiss-tuned triple cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless fast charging.

For now, Vivo is staying quiet. Still, with both the X300e and X Fold 6 appearing in official databases, it’s clear the company is preparing to expand its flagship and foldable lineup in the coming months.
