Vivo has unveiled a new smartphone named Vivo Y20 (2021) in Malaysia. Some of the highlights of the smartphone include a tall aspect ratio screen, a 13-megapixel triple camera system, and a big battery.

The Vivo Y20 (2021) is a plastic-bodied smartphone with 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.41mm dimensions. The phone weighs 192 grams. It is equipped with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

An 8-megapixel selfie camera can be found on the front side of the Vivo Y20 (2021). A vertical triple camera system can be found on the backside of the smartphone. It comprises a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, and an LED flash.

The Vivo Y20 (2021) smartphone is powered by the Helio P35 chipset. The SoC is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. It is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports only 10W charging. The handset boots to FunTouch OS flavored Android 10 OS.

The Y20 (2021) comes with an internal storage of 64 GB. Other specs that are available on the Vivo Y20 (2021) include a dual SIM slot, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm audio port.

In terms of appearance, the Vivo Y20 (2021) looks like the Vivo Y12s that debuted in markets such as Hongkong and Vietnam last month. The Y12s came with a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. Its other specs are identical to the Vivo Y20 (2021).

Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y20 (2021) with a price tag of RM 599. It comes in two colors such as Dawn White and Nebula Blue. The handset may make it to other Southeast Asian markets in the near future.
