Vivo launched the Y200 5G smartphone in India in October last year. At that time, it was announced in a sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Now, the Chinese brand has announced a new configuration of the Y200 5G with double the storage capacity. It is a device in the sub-Rs 25,000 price segment and packs some impressive specifications. Vivo Y200 5G gets new storage variant

The Vivo Y200 5G has the same 8GB RAM. But it now comes in a 256GB storage variant. The new configuration is priced at Rs 23,999 and is offered in Jungle Green and Desert Gold color options. The smartphone is already available for purchase from the brand’s website and Flipkart. To recall, the base 8GB + 128GB model of the Vivo Y200 5G costs Rs 21,999 

Apart from the storage bump, the core specifications of the Vivo Y200 5G remain the same. It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and it supports HDR10+. The device has a flat frame design and a rectangular camera module. 

The Vivo Y200 5G has dual rear camera setup of a 64MP main sensor with OIS support and a 2MP depth lens. There is a Smart Aura Light flash The device features a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Vivo Y200 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery cell with support for 44W fast charging. The device runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

After weeks of leaks and rumors, the Vivo Y200 5G smartphone has finally been launched. The device was announced in the Indian market and is the latest Y series mid range handset from the company. So here are all the details.

The Vivo Y200 5G sports a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 800 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC that is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the Y200 5G, which supports 44W fast charging.

On the rear, the smartphone features a dual camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor that supports f/1.79 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) along with the 2-megapixel depth camera. The rear module also houses the Smart Aura Light flash. Meanwhile, the front houses a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include in-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.1, 190 grams in weight, and 7.69mm in thickness.

Vivo Y200 5G Pricing and Availability

The Vivo yY200 5G is available in two color options, namely Desert Gold and Desert Green. The smartphone has been launched in India for a price tag of 21,999 INR. As a special launch offer, the Chinese smartphone maker is offering a 2,000 INR instant discount with HDFC and ICICI Credit Card and Debit Card. Vivo is all set to launch its latest 5G smartphone, the Y200 5G, in India tomorrow, October 23. The company has already teased the design and color options of the device, and now, a Flipkart listing has revealed its key specifications and price.

So, according to Flipkart, the Vivo Y200 5G will sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. Design-wise, the phone sports two cameras on the rear, joined by the Smart Aura Light we’ve previously seen on the iQOO Z7 Pro and Vivo V29 Pro. The listing also reveals that the Y200 5G will come in two colors – Desert Gold and Desert Green.

Moreover, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, which is a low-end 5G chip from Qualcomm. The phone will come in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone will have a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. On the front, it will have a 16MP selfie camera.

The Vivo Y200 5G will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

The Flipkart listing also reveals the price of the Vivo Y200 5G. It is expected to cost Rs. 21,999 in India for the sole 8/128GB variant.
